IMPORTANT NOTICE : ALSO ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE BELOW THIS PANEL. THERE IS BOLTED, HI-AMP, HUGE fuses, which are bolted. Some of them are VERY easy to blow (related to battery, alternator, ignition...). VOlkswagen Audi Skoda Seat are using transparent, colored plastic windows for these big fuses.
Thank you very much for this video !
Very good point
Those are main fuses you definitely have to be careful.
Thanks
Do you know what the fuse is for the starter motor
Every car is different, you will need to find out on your particular car.
any idea why my fuse #48 keep blown away for VW Jetta 2014 SE. It keeps blown away if i put 20A. If i replace 20A with 25A it works for about a week or so and 25A also blows away. Any suggestion please.
The system the fuse is for must have a short or an electrical fault.
You would need to fix that first or it will just keep blowing fuses.
I highly recommend to not fit a higher amperage fuse than what Is recommended.
My car is a hybrid and the battery is in the trunk the fuse box is up front so how do I do this?
Exact same way.
What fuse are you wanting to check?
Can anyone help diagnose a problem I have with my 2013 VW Jetta 2.5 SE. The car was sitting for 4 months at a body shop and when I picked it up from there, I turned it on and after driving half a mile, I could not accelerate, all my dashboard lights came on and the car died and would not turn on. I replaced the alternator (twice) and battery and I am still having the same problem. The mechanic is saying it could be the alternator fuse. I bought one and waiting on it to arrive. Does anyone know whether it could be the fuse or could it be something else?
You would have to check the charge rate at the battery.
If the alternator is charging then the fuse is fine.
It really could be anything, no one could tell you what the problem is without actually looking at the car.
We have no 12v power no trailer lights can't move the slide
Check the fuse but could be power supply issue also.
my jetta 2017 air conditioner is not working
First step would be to check if it has gas in the system and go from there.
Could be anything.
