Why do all you RUclips presenters speed up your speech about 5 times as fast when you come to the most complex part of your explanations which require the most concentration to follow? If we have to play your video 10 times or more instead of once to understand the most complex parts, does that benefit you in some ways in terms of popularity?
You said the TV is not smart, but from the Video the TV you are using is a smart TV, so I don't find it helpful , cos you said you are doing it with a non smart TV.

For your TV to connect to Wi-Fi you must have a smart TV unfortunately I have not done that to my house because my TVs don't carry that but are not that old either I'm not going to replace them just the stream from the phone wirelessly to the TV but thanks for the video nonetheless

I done everything you did but still doesn't show my Samsung tv. same Samsung set up as you followed every step as you did but no luck. Thanks anyway

Can you try this on your wireless router with the net connection unplugged from the router and see if it'll work? The Chromecast will show a picture but have a pop-up that there's no internet connection and won't allow you to continue. Makes no sense because if you have a home net connection then why would you need to cast to the TV? Also makes no sense because the screen is suppose to be cast through the router and to the Chromecast device and isn't done by the net connection. So for some reason they apparently purposely block casting access for those without a home net connection. Anyway if you'd try it with your device and let us know if it works or if they block it without any reason it would be greatly appreciated as there's a lot of phones that have a wireless cast feature but no ability to cast through the usb port such as mine! Thanks

Nobody ever seems to be able to do this without wifi with a home internet connection or hotspot.
This should work with any connection as long as both your phone and tv are connected to the same connection.
