Pentatonix is the premiere a capella group in the world. They've won three Grammys and were nominated for 5. They have sooo much more music for you if you want to listen and react to more. Some are covers, but some are originals. Members: 1st singer...Scott Hoying ( baritone), Scott has a massive vocal range...all the way from upper bass notes to high alto and has a great falsetto. he takes over the bass notes when the bass singer takes the lead or a verse. 2nd singer... Avi Kaplan (basso profundo) Avi is an opera trained bass with an incredible warm VERY low bass. He sings in at least 4 octaves. In 2017 he left the group and now has a solo career...and doing well. His replacement is Matt Sallee. 3rd singer...Kirstin ( Kirstie) Maldonado ( alto-soprano). Kirstie has a lovely voice, a great range from alto right up into high soprano. She's the best belter in the group. 4th singer...Mitch Grassi ( countertenor) Mitch is a natural countertenor with a massive vocal range. He can go from upper bass notes to high soprano...about as high as Kirstie. They both do whistle notes as well. 5th member...Kevin Olusola ( beatboxer, cellist, tenor) Kevin is the genius of the group...actually he's a polymath...a genius in several separate areas. He was studying to become a doctor when the others in the group found his video of himself playing the cello(at concert level) while beatboxing. He decided to go the music route. He speaks several languages plays keyboard and sax extremely well...and sings. He's a tenor with a wonderful falsetto. Song suggestions: Daft Punk medley, Sound of Silence, Say Something, Kiss From A Rose, Be My Eyes (original), Coffee In Bed (original), Bohemian Rhapsody, Imagine, Water (original), 90's Dance medley, Evolution of Michael Jackson, Happy Now (original).
