The mixup of knowledge, confidence, mildly passive aggressive sarcasm and pure expertise are what make this my favorite pool channel by miles. Not even debatable. Love your material, B. 🤟
I appreciate that you know it. And My Viewers have always been the best.
Too true!
No doubt. He definitely teaches well.
FXB has a great combination of swag, respect for the game, and inspiration. I always want to practice after Coach Bryan tells us what's up.
He definitely has swag and makes things look so easy!
I appreciate that. Have a great day. You guys are outstanding.
I loved the lesson at 5:20 😝
Myself being equally ambidextrous smiled because when you said you saw a problem, I just waited for you to say unless you’re left handed hehehe.
Great speaker and this guy reminds me of a lot of very important things when I play, i can hear his voice in my head sometimes when im playing.
Really appreciate the lessons. I am 70 and have started playing again after about 50 year layoff. A friend bought a table and have been playing once a week for about three months now. Really enjoy the game and gives me something to do during the week. He has a 9 foot table and he has two places in his room that you need the short cue. Good point about the pillar. Keep up the great advice and lessons they really help your audience.
Good stuff. Thank you very much.
I’m glad I’ve found this channel. I can’t stop wathcing
Very nice of you. Thank you
This was one of your best lessons.
Good stuff. It's incredible how much we unnecessarily complicate this game. You make it look easy brother
Thanks for the visit
It’s just as important to know what NOT to do and let the cushions help in position. Nice ideas.😮😮😮😊😊😊
You got it. Thanks very much for watching and leaving your comments.
After a bunch of practicing and sucking I get discouraged, but it just takes one FXBilliards video to get me motivated again
That’s my job. Thank you very much for watching.
Loved the advice on pocket hangers!
Simple but good reminders🙌🏼thanks Bryan 👍
My pleasure
Good info as always Bryan! Love the Tom Cruise comment!
Thanks for watching!
Very wise counsel even for a "low-level beginner" like me who's still working on cueing straight. Still, it's fun when everything falls into place; you pocket a ball; and see little improvements as time goes by.
I have done every single one of these. But now, thanks to the increased awareness you give us, I think I’ll be doing a lot less of them!
As always, my friend thanks for watching
Top notch content Brian! My game improving quickly
Great to hear!
Home court advantage when playing obstacles in the room.
Always great instruction and reminders! Thanks B Be Safe
Thanks, you too!
Always learning something from Brian. Thank you!

Our pleasure!
Great info as always, Bryan.
Thanks for watching!
Great info Brian! Thank you!
You bet!
All great points. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise!
My pleasure!
This video brings up a pet peeve of mine - crowded tables. In the example in this video it was only one pillar that was the issue, but in so many places I have played the entire wall, or another table, are too close and a player cannot step back far enough, get the aim and line they want, and then step into the shot.
For some people stepping back and then stepping into the shot is not a big deal - but for me and others it is absolutely critical, and when the cue ball is around a diamond or closer to the rail it makes shooting really difficult.
I’m with you - thanks for watching
Excellent advice. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Good video Bryan thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Great stuff again 👍🎱🎱
Thanks again!
Great. Thank you very much

I couldn’t find out where to donate. I’ve been following you for some time as I think that you’re the best no frills and straight to the point instructor on the net.
Would’ve loved to have just donated, but I couldn’t figure it out. An easy button would help. Just like pool, nothing’s easy, but I got a lucky leave with a t-shirt 🤪
Have been thinking of donating for some time. I finally got a little extra😉
I appreciate that- I actually turned off the donate (super thanks) button. I have a video coming out soon to encourage people to give that money to charity instead of me.
@@FXBilliards glad you’re doing well enough to pass it along to others. Hope it’s a great charity
I was practicing with my teammates today n we played scotch doubles in 8-ball. My partner was Angelo today an APA 4 in his 1st season. He is a good shooter, but trying to get him to think about where he's leaving the cue ball is next to impossible. When he walks to the table, he sees a shot he can make n takes it, usually leaving me. his partner no shot. So in APA matches, he's leaving himself no shot. The difficulty is in getting people to keep THINKING during a match. Not "In your head OMG what do I do" but UNDERSTANDING the cue ball physics n how to get shape on not only your next shot, but the run that wins you the game and match. It's making more n more sense to me now Coach! Thnx for all you do.
Have you considered asking him to check out the channel? Bryan has many great videos to help all types of players!
Thank you for watching. I appreciate your comments.
my basement has a nice range all around the table but we have a 'rack/ shelve in a spot that prevents me from shooting and I started using that to work my cue ball control to keep away from that section. FXB always on top of things.
You’re in the same predicament as a lot of players -way to work it to your advantage
Quite a lot of information to unpack there.
Thanks for watching
The best
thanks
Welcome
First?
Edit: looks like it.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge sensei.😘
You got it! Thanks for watching
Nice video! You need to think in advance!
Always. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. You guys are outstanding.
Best safety of their lives, lmao.
Thanks for watching
Interesting, I would leave the hanger just in case i don't get shape on one of the other balls.
It’s not a bad strategy to leave an insurance shot as long as it doesn’t hinder your run out later in the rack. I see a lot of run outs breakdown because someone left the pocket hanger on the table, usually to try to block a pocket
Why are there so few top black or hispanic pool players?
There are quite a few but many take a different route with Pool. Remember, professional pool does not pay well at all - for every pro you can name there’s 10 or 15 money players, making a better living. That’s where you’ll find a lot of the minority players. Unfortunately in 10 years that might be the case with American players in general - because the number of top US players relative to the overall professional field is being reduced every year.
@@FXBilliards When you say ´money players´I always think of poolhall hustlers? But you are right about the prizemoney, I´m always amazed by how small the prizes are - especially in the US - compared to snooker, or even darts, yet there are so many top players now.
I like the cut of your jib
