If I want to study abroad, particularly at the University of Passau, are there any requirements for German language proficiency?

German language requirements vary from degree to degree. Information can be found on the website for every single degree separately. The M. Sc. International Economics & Business is taught in English, so German requirements are only A1 CEFR (beginners level). We offer free German courses during the first year, so you have to be able to present an A1 certificate by the end of the first year of study.

@@Uni.Passau Thank you for your time. I really appreciate your enthusiasm and devotion. I want to ask if an IELTS score over 6.0 guarantees admission, or is it only a minimum requirement for the first selection? Also, what can make my application special when I apply to your school? Right now, I don’t have much information about whether your school values practical skills or theoretical knowledge more. If your school emphasizes practical skills, I will try to join technical science competitions. However, if it focuses more on theory, I will concentrate on participating in scientific research competitions. By the way, if my SAT score is about 1400 or more, will that help my application?
