unfortunately not! but we have more than 50 other sport opportunities at our sports centre, including rowing on the nearby river. :) the public swimming pool ist also not far, just a few bus stops away.

Local people are usually well versed in English, especially the young generation. HOWEVER: to be able to get by in Germany, students are nonetheless required to have German language skills at level A1 CEFR (beginner's level). If you do not meet this requirement at the time of your application, you will be offered a free beginner's German course during your first year of study. By the end of that year, you have to be able to present a German language certificate at level A1 CEFR. If the degree program you're planning to study is NOT english-taught, then you usually need German language skills at level B2 CEFR. Hope to see you on campus soon!
