I like the looks of Minneapolis. It has everything a city needs, including sports teams. Too bad I couldn't see more of the downtown, like catching a glimpse of Target Field--I did see a glimpse of Target Center and US Bank Stadium. Thank you for that.
Embarrasse, MN is way colder. Weird I now live in NE MN and no ❄️.😮 Record breaking 😂
Nice tour of Minneapolis MN
Thank you for sharing this post, Mike! I've lived in Minneapolis for 25 years until 2020. The architecture of this city is simply stunning. Also, there are many parks, bike paths, and lakes for the outdoor enthusiast. Additionally, it's great to have a major international airport with plenty of non-stop destinations. However, the winters here are too cold and the taxes too high. Hopefully, I am wrong, but I believe this area has seen much better days. In my opinion, the city's renaissance is gone. There is no longer any mojo here. I lived here during a period of excitement, when there was a tremendous amount of celebration and progress. As I view this video, I see a much more subdued downtown.
at one time i recall hearing it actually held prestige as THE SAFEST big city in the USA... not anymore though 8^(
@@efil4kizumAgreed. Ever since George Floyd's death and the BLM Riots that followed, including the calls to Defund the Police, in which the Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey did, the city went downhill ever since. Same thing with cities like Portland, OR, San Francisco, New York, Boston, etc.
@@efil4kizum You are on point there. I have friends who normally work downtown and will not travel there, because they are too nervous about the crime in the skyways and on the streets. It's terrible.
Stunning ? Serious ? Random skyscrapers, ugly condos and parking lots. No older architecture. How is this stunning ?
@@BlackwoodMorgan I’m only sharing my opinion. You are certainly entitled to your own. Thanks.
Left Mpls nearly 40 years ago. Looks like there's been a little gentrification going on.
Mike, according to your Community Post, you're in Wisconsin, may I ask what is your projected path at this point in terms of filming?
Chicago > St. Louis > Indianapolis.
Haven’t decided exactly after that yet.
27:52 this is the drive along the Mississippi river? or Minnesota river?
Mississippi
St. Paul, Minnesota coming up next?
Not yet
There is nothing going on in Mpls
I-35W Minneapolis > I-35W Fort Worth
💯
The coldest city in the U.S
One of.

@@encinhothe typical elitist and celebrity culture cities right there

this is THE COLDEST big city in the USA
one of actually
@@matt815 it comes in at #1 on the WeatherChannel list for big cities of at least 250k population
美国的城市品质挺高的,不愧是世界发达国家巅峰。
Apologies, but I can't imagine living in a more boring city that has zero redeaming features as this. It's absolutely s..t
You've obviously never been to this city and are either a troll or someone with an agenda.
"Redeeming," you mean?
@@codeinecrazyfuture probably, either way its a shit hole.
in '20 it actually became a 3rd world city... its truly so sad about the authorities in this city/state of Minnesota
@@efil4kizum it looks like it had so much potential. I never blame the city or town. It's certain sketchy people who bring a place down. Enough said.
