    Thanks man all I did was just bend the two clip holders towards the center and it held on tight again. No need for a new piece

    Just what I needed! My shit just be shakin'.....having to push it in to keep it from shaking while drivin' 70-80mph on the highway is no damn fun...🤣😂

    That bracket is such an extreme stupid and greedy design. Basically Acura tried to make a few bucks by selling that bracket every time you remove the mirror. They could have made a screw instead to screw from outside to the base. Best if you bend and test the bracket on the base before installing.

    So I just replaced 2001 CL rear view mirror and everything was fine until I remounted the mirror and it wouldn't secure. It's all wiggly. I took the brack from the old mirror assembly and installed it in the new mirror but it's still loose. I going to try Ali solution below. It seems like it should work.

    Fished one of these out of an mdx at the junkyard. BE CAREFUL TAPPING. YOU CAN BREAK YOUR WINDSHIELD EAZY.

    How do you get the old one out? What tool do you use anyone knows?

      I think it was one of them hex screw or a regular Philips it was small pop the cover of first

      Dealership have it for little to nothing like 10 bucks or amazom

    How do you get the metal button off the rearview? I tried pressing the lever down but I think the metal button is stuck to the mirror... Any ideas? Thank you.
