When I take cuttings, I usually get 3 cuttings from a stem. Then theres no waste. But I like your way of taking a larger cutting. Then you have a bigger plant right away.
Thanks for another a great video. I’ve recently taken some cuttings from my mothers sedum plant- the first time trying out sedum propagation. I wonder how to do with my cuttings over winter when I don’t have a greenhouse? That includes other cuttings too, like hydrangeas and boxwood and so on. I don’t want to loose them. 😊

Did any of the smaller sedum cuttings make it after trimming them?
So I'm curious how the ones that grew in water made it???
They grew like gangbusters! All the sedum cuttings rooted. Are you trying it?

I have sedum coming out of my ears here (6b Go Huskies===) Thing is my soil is fantastic, they love it too much. They are saggy now and gigantic.
