Gay men exist on a spectrum of diverse identities, each of which have a legitimate experience and belong to our community. If drag isn't your thing, then so be it. At the end of the day, however, if you don't see yourself being represented accurately, then create a lane just for you and those that connect with your vibe will be able to use your journey for inspiration.

Of course, it's all about sex. That's the whole purpose of Grindr, given the fact that is a hookup app. That's not promoting sickness, that's helping you connect with someone to get an immediate desire fulfilled for that moment, nothing more, nothing less. No one goes to Grindr seeking wisdom or some metaphysical answers to an existential crisis. You log on because you're looking to fuck. And if you want to criticize Grindr for serving its purpose, make sure you do the same thing for the apps that cater to straight people seeking hookups as well, because the moment you inserted "sickness" and "normal" into your comment reply, I knew that you come with a strong bias against the target of this app.
You assume that the app pushes the idea that sex is the point of life, but you easily forget that sex creates life. Yes, I know men cannot Crete life without women, but the desire for sex as a man is still strong and universal. Some men find other coping strategies that may or may not be healthier options that others find useful, but don't bash those that use this app for the purpose it serves. You can continue turning your nose up as much as you please at those of us that use the app, but don't declare yourself an authority on what's normal because you claim to never have a need for a hookup app of any kind, gay or straight. Everybody gets horny. Including you!
