Yeah this happened to me a little while ago. I meet a girl at work who just broke up with her long term boyfriend (which I didn't know about when we first met).
We went out a few times for a drink and one time went bowling. She is a hardcore gamer, which I though sounded great, something in common. She was desperate to get the God of War Ragnarok Collector's Edition and she couldn't find it anywhere. I somehow managed to get one.
She was telling me how amazing I was. Kept regular contact with me, I thought we were getting closer and then when I delivered it to her house (first time going to her place, which she invited me in for a drink), the contact lessened until she stopped talking to me full stop. I called her out on it saying she's ghosting me, but claims she was just busy with Christmas (that was in December), it only takes seconds to send a text, so I didn't buy that.
Well December has past and she still hasn't bothered to text me. Total waste of time and work, at least I got my money back for the game and only spent around £50 in total in the 6 months we were talking for.
Oh yeah, she loved gaming but wouldn't play a single game with me in the whole time. Always an excuse, I should have known then!

Alternative interpretation: She wasn't sure whether she was into him or not, *but* she wanted him to be into her and stick around until she made up her mind. I.e. she wanted him to submit to her priorities (and her schedule) while completely neglecting his own.

A common complaint of women is that men don't pick up on their signals. From the looks of it, she sent obvious signals that she wasn't interested in a romantic relationship with him, which is obviously what he was going for. While he could've sent a "It was fun, best of luck to you" text, I totally understood why he just cut off contact; it didn't seem like she was too interested.
I once had a date who I tried to kiss, and she wasn't into it. Later on, the mood was right so I tried again (she seemed to be sending the signals that she was into it) and she rejected it again, so I stopped. Later on, I got a text "I wish you had tried to kiss me again"... As a man, this stuff is infuriating. Needless to say, we didn't have any more dates.

He showed interest and she pushed him away so he left as he should have. She thought she had him wrapped around her finger so she went into hard to get mode and got a reality check. This is exactly why men don't buy flowers and don't pursue bc women tend to respond to those actions in exactly this way. They seem to subconsciously see it as a display of weakness and inferiority rather than a kind gesture that should be appreciated and valued.

I have commented that she maybe wanted him to slow down it's just the 2nd date, and her attraction may have not been initially high to begin with, but was rather growing being she voted with her feet to hang out with him twice, and likely was going to do the same a third time from the video she posted. Clearly him not reaching out has an affect on her. A women who could care less would not be stressing it.
Besides there are unanswered questions like how many days has gone by since the last date?
He could of lost his phone or suddenly had a schedule change where he's not available the same times he used to be so found it pointless to let her know being she never reached out to him to inquire about his whereabouts.
She probably is expecting him to reach out like he was initially doing, and he's probably in the head space of she should reach out to me if she's interested.
It's clear their also on different wave lengths, and each have an expectation of what the other is supposed to do. I place the burden on the guy though because he was initially pursuing, and just stopped cold turkey instead of texting, and trying to set up another meeting, and stop if she stops responding to his messages or calls or answers but rejects hanging out, and doesn't give a clear answer or refuses to answer if he asks why? Or rejects hanging out, but doesn't follow up with a reason before you have to ask and suggest still wanting to meet up at a later date.

I recommend researching 'narcissistic personality disorder' (NPD) / 'cluster-B'; and know that they are the 'root of all evil' (especially 'ESFJ/ESTJ-narcissist'; Myers-Briggs reference, look it up)!
European 'ESFJ' are the worst personality type, and they are responsible for inventing 'racism' and colonization! It is in their neuro-psychology!!!
They are extremely 'manipulative' and often use 'looking pretty' to distract others from the witch's mind-games / mind-r@pe, e.g. gaslighting, playing the victim/damsel in distress, creating "flying-monkeys", and 'bribing' others (with money or BJ) to attack, or at times, kill someone for her. When caught, she will use her minions as scapegoats. European ESFJ are notorious for this especially in a racist context, e.g. Emmett Till.
xSFP and ISFJ (2W1) are the most complicit, narcissistic-enablers. ISFP also tend to be 'oblivious-codependents' (look up the definition). Like ESFJ, XSFP's "feelings 'is' their reality." Most are covert/vulnerable-narcissists.
ISFJ often perceive things only on the surface level (even by sensor standards), are suckers for a “pretty face", and their neuro-psychology makes them the ideal narcissitic-codependent and pawn to the ESFJ (blind-loyalty, surface level perception, susceptibility to covert-narcissism). Lastly, ISFJ are notorious for impersonating other people's identities IRL and on the internet.

Honestly, it's reached the point where if a STEREOTYPICAL woman ('ESFJ', ESFP/ISFP, ESTP) complained about sexual assault - so what?! Most women have a 4 to 30+ body-count anyway!!! The one and only significant difference is 'PERMISSION' to "fornicate on used goods".
The alcohol only helps to NUMB their instinct that tried to discourage them from going through with it!!!
Since their body is not a sacred temple, can you not see how their internal environment (mind, spirit and emotion) is a cesspool of a mess! The influence of 'ESFP'/ISFP (moral depravity-a core trait for them), and 'ESFJ' cover-narcissism, especially in the school environment is the cause for all of this! Careless INFP add to this as well (despite being a wonderful type). INFP overly accommodating psychology is easily exploited, corrupted by covert-narcissits (ESFP, ISFP, ESFJ, and Cluster-B) and the INFP turns into an enabler of "sexual depravity". It happens a lot. Take a look at most sexual movements. This is why intelligence and the foresight to "look at the bigger picture" when making important decisions - like an intelligent person should be able to do... Is extremely important!
Most movements do not account for corrupt members, i.e. member that secretly harbor an ulterior, degenerate motive! Case in point, today's feminism, charities, etc. And yet we wonder how it came cancerous and only facilitates "prasites" (who secretly experience a [metaphorically] cannibalising psychology/state of mind).
I hope that intelligent and spiritually clean humans will take the time to dissect and understand this comment.

It helped me understand to not expect a very forward approach and it did at times leave me questioning if I was headed towards the friend-zone or a romantic relationship. It felt like a hot & cold approach on her side, we had great rapport and got along real well in person, but when we were in-between dates there was very little contact, but she did come off as interested as she would often text me first or tell me that she was thinking about me. It was enough to turn 3 kissless dates into a 4th date that had a huge swing from what felt like a friendship into a romantic relationship and the date ended with a kiss. It sometimes helps to have patience, but I honestly wouldn't have had the patience to hang around if she hadn't been very communicative on her dating approach. People just need to communicate better from the start when dating someone, but in a world where withholding information is viewed as mysterious/interesting and ghosting is how people move on I just don't see that happening when it comes to dating. It was honestly one of the most healthiest starts to dating I've ever been apart of.

I really don't like "asking" for a kiss, because some girls/women make fun of that shit and enjoy the humiliation aspects of dealing with men, and others will think you're wanting them to dominate you, both of which are things I'm not into. I tend to avoid all interactions where I am a "dependent" with a woman unless they are a nurse, and I woke up in the Hospital, because there is a percentage of women out there into humiliation or domination and if they read you as a 'sub', you're gonna have an even worst time of it than a simp unless you're into that sort of thing! You used to see a girl you’d want to talk to, ask (which takes a bit of courage since we do the asking) to talk, and she would respond. Now, just from observation, women just swipe, swipe, swipe until they get to a picture of some guy with a boat behind him. You don’t talk to him, see if he’s well spoken, and just believe whatever nonsense he writes (usually with bad grammar) below his picture. There is no human connection, no way to judge social graces or courtesy…nothing. Also, sorry, but in my day sending a woman flowers wasn’t a crime-they actually appreciated it. I’m in my early 30’s now (my dating life has sucked tbh). But I’ve been trying lately. Anyhow, I built the courage to ask out the bartender and I went out with her a few times. Despite us vibing well, I couldn’t tell if she liked me or just saw me as just as a friend.
My friends basically told me to either make a move or to let her know I was interested. That way I don’t get “friendzoned” for trying too hard to be just the friend or the possibility of another guy coming in and making a move because I’m too scared lol. (She’s fairly attractive girl).
Unfortunately, it didn’t work in my favor and she wanted to keep it as friends. But I’m glad I followed some of the advice on here.
I pursued and showed interest. But rather than chasing her and sounding desperate/trying to force something to happen I stopped and backed off after she said no. I wasn’t too hurt about being rejected. Proud that I asked and left no what if’s behind.
Keep your head up kings 👑.

That’s what I’m saying lol. I took her snowboarding which took us 3.5 hours just to get there. We basically hung out the whole day 1 on 1. Which is why I decided to speak up because no girl is going go that far with some guy they barely know. (4th time we hung out)
She did offer to pay for her things but I didn’t let her. Personality wise, she’s nice and comes off pretty genuine compared to some of the other girls I’ve met. So I don’t think there was any “free ride” mentally.
Although, I guess you can say reciprocation. She didn’t really reach out to me often. So that was kinda of sign of interest level. However, I didn’t want to be butt buddies or be texting everyday. That’s how I end up in the friend zone (happened twice).
And I saw her last night. I gave her a quick hello. Just to show there’s no hard feelings and maturity level. Ball is in her court. Plenty of girls out there.

I think the bottom line is that women want “some” men to chase them, but the others should stay away. They also want you to read their minds and know exactly what they want and when they want it. For me personally the refusing to kiss me would have have been a pretty strong indicator that I was being friend zoned so I probably would’ve done the same thing that this dude did. I think he was a little to over eager and maybe should’ve played things by ear more. To me dating these days is like playing pull tabs at the bar. You just have to try and guess where your winners are and buy from that box. However there’s no sure fire way to know if you’re making the right choice

I’m seeing this 2 months after it was put up, but, the biggest thing I got from the TikTok in it was that she seemed willing to communicate with the world about all of this while not being a great communicator to him. I feel that may be the bigger issue for her - it’s important to be able to say, “Hey this is a bit much for me,” or “I am not comfortable with kissing on the second date.” Being entirely fair, kissing is an intimate act despite it being publicly acceptable, and depending on one’s upbringing, beliefs and values, that may be something they’d prefer to reserve for after they’ve gotten to know a person better. My question to her is, “Did you try to reach out after the fact?” We use this term ‘ghosting,’ but it takes 2 for communication to happen. A failure to communicate the evening of could’ve been rectified the next day or two later, if it turns out she genuinely was interested.
We’re making an assumption here that there was no interest on her part - it’s entirely possible that she just needs to learn how to communicate when it comes to boundaries and expressing them (which is still a red flag, because it does express a lack of emotional and social maturity when you cannot express those emotions or define limits).
I get her confusion - it exists on both sides. It’s pointed out constantly that us men need to be better communicators - sounds like the guy in this situation communicated clearly. The ability to communicate clearly and directly needs work in both directions.

Idk, in the case of this girl and guy i think he was going a bit overboard. I'm all for chivalry but making big plans, buying a bouquet of roses , all on a second date is a bit much. I think he could have held the roses, held making plans on a big trip, and instead focused on getting to know her and making more simple suggestion for a third date would have been much better. "Love bombing" i think is a legit thing where you do too much at once at the beginning, projecting your last relationship onto them or trying to latch on too quickly.
You can still be chivalrous and not go overboard. The better you know a woman, the more you can make gestures like flowers and shit

I'll tell you what it was. She probably didn't have any other good dates lined up but she wasn't really sure of this guy so she tried to keep him on the backburner with one foot halfway in the door and another one halfway out it. And what I mean by that is she was trying to string him along just enough to keep him thinking that maybe she likes him but at the same time trying to keep him far enough away so he didn't make any advances on her such as the kiss. As they say you cannot deny genuine desire. If she desired this man she would have kissed him on the first night due to hormones and excitement. This dude gets an A-Plus for letting his balls hang and cutting her off immediately. Most guys would be pathetic and simp and wait around for her out of the mindset of being scarcity and not having women and hoping that she would just come around at some point. I wish I knew this guy was I would buy him a beer.

What I got from the tiktok was a girl upset for being rejected by a guy "beneath her." He was clear about his interest in pursuing a relationship with her. She was clear in not wanting that, at least not with him. As strangers, after just two dates, no one is owed anything. Maybe a little different if you work together or have some other social connection outside of those two dates.
Also, I don't think she understands what "ghosting" is. Ghosting isn't simply the other person not calling, continuing communication. It is when you are trying to be active in communication and the other doesn't respond or reaches out. It is like you are trying to talk to a "ghost."
For some reason ghosting is widely accepted and considered a safe way for women to passively break up with a man, but we act like it is some horrible thing when men do it.

You hit the nail on the head. When I use to go on dates I unfortunately learned a hard lesson. I used to go in with hopes only to come back home disappointed.
I don't listen to what she says, but I observe her actions that tells you everything. When she gives you confusing hot and cold feeling or gives you a friends zone vibe , it's best to just walk away.

I understand being realistic about life, keeping your expectations low. We do have to recognize that subconsciously that has high risk of being something that’s picked up by others and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It’s more about optimizing your opportunities and investing at the right time with the right person. I agree that we have to develop better red flag detection, ask better questions, pay attention better, and ultimately pick better women.

These are some fantastic points here. If you’re told “hugs only” after the second date, it’s healthy and even respectful to assume to they’re not attracted to you.
Although I will say that because a second date is a still tentative thing, if someone on a second date is talking like they’ve assumed they’re going to be seeing a lot more of you before you’ve decided that’s the case, it is off-putting.

Assuming he's a reasonable average guy she must've given him some sort of signals for him to be suggesting those things. We only have her side of the story and only a few seconds of it at that and she does seem disappointed that he didn't call her back the next day (roses still fresh and why else would she go on tiktok for sympathy? maybe just attention, OK). Wouldn't be the first young lady giving "hot and cold" signals...
Maybe he was naive and trying too hard or maybe he was a player and trying it on, but players don’t tend to ask before a kiss on the second date... Men can be clumsy and "off-putting", they might be nervous, shy, trying too hard (really smitten), haven't done much dating, didn’t have any sisters etc. Nothing a small dose of communication couldn't sort out, but she never did that with him. If going on a ski trip was too much too soon then she could've suggested other lower key stuff or a slower timetable - IF she was interested. Sounds like she just went along with it (it used to be called "leading him on"), and then had a big whinge on tiktok when he finally realised he had no chance and moved on (lest he be accused of "harassing" her).

"SENSORY-FEELERS" ARE LARGELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SPREADING DISINFORMATION AND HATE TOWARDS ENTJ/INTJ (AGAINST "THINKERS" IN GENERAL)-BOTH IRL AND ON THE INTERNET; DESPITE THOSE NEURO-PERSONALITY TYPES BEING A BLESSING TO SOCIETY AND ALL OF MANKIND! THEY DESERVE BETTER! 😤
'ESFJ', 'ESFP', ISFP and ISFJ are a pathogen to humanity, and 'then' Cluster-B (depending on they neuro-personality).
THEIR "FEELINGS 'IS' THEIR REALITY", THEY ALSO HAVE A MALICIOUS-MIND BY DEFAULT (excluding normal ISFJ). DESPITE HAVING MALICIOUS INTENT THEY ARE ALL EMOTIONALLY-WEAK AND PRONE TO COVERT/VULNERABLE-NARCISSISM.
      ...............................
Also... To intelligent readers (who do 'not’ have a ‘pathological disregard for rationality and reality').

[Secretly] Evil and narcissist-friendly gunts/flying-monkey: ISFP (ALL), ESFP (ALL), and ISFJ (2W1 enable ESFJ).
☝️ALL of them are secretly emotionally-disturbed, hence their need to create conflict as a distraction (at other people's expense, truly evil).

    Hey Courtney,
    Tricky one,
Okay first we have to set up the social norms:
    1) Girls that are on Tinder will currently hook up with you the same evening with netflix and some take out.
    2) A girl that wants a relationship and dating usually uses the three dates until sex rule... and escalation towards that should be happening. Like a minimum chest hug or lip touching kiss on first date... makeout on second date... sex on third date.
Next we play out what happened on the date:
    1) First Date... Presumably he has asked her out and planned a date and picked her up and dropped her back home safely with NO escalation happening. But both enjoy the date enough to go on a second one.
    2) Second Date... He asks her for a second date as the first date went pretty well and he assumes the second date will have the required escalation to a kiss... he plans the date(as women are shaming men for not doing in hookup culture nowadays)... he even buys her flowers... a romantic gesture that has historically ensures that the woman sees this as a respectful romantic gesture that may secure a kiss at the end of the date... and before he even drops her off... plans their THIRD DATE.. WITH HER... a weekend getaway for them to make their third date more special and memorable for their "first time"... Sounds like she may have even agreed to the trip as she sounded disappointed that it didn't happen...
    3) End of the second date... he asks her for a kiss(the current norm of consent)... gets rejected("no thanks.. how about a hug")... she offers a hug from another seat in a car... this hug doesn't even offer full chest contact from that angle... thus it FEELS like an even larger rejection... and signifies to the gentleman that the trip he has planned for them this weekend... is going to be extremely awkward to say the least... if she won't even agree to a kiss... how can staying in a hotel room (friday/sat night near $900 just for the room Plus a multiday ski package for both of them at least another $500)... and she won't even give the guy a kiss on the cheek or a hug where her breasts touched him...
What could he do at that point... the best option would have been to call her and say what? "Sorry we can't take a ski vacation together... we aren't at that place yet in our relationship yet"... which would STILL signify to the girl that he felt like a ski vacation was suppose to "buy him" sex.. which nowadays.. especially given her thoughts that he was already "love bombing" her... would have gone over even worse than just ghosting her... The second best option without ghosting would be just continuing with an uncomfortable weekend for BOTH of them... where they were staying in a hotel together for 2 nights where the girl hasn't even wanted to kiss him so far... and by the end he would have felt used for a $2000 getaway(hotel/ski package/restaurants/snacks/drinks) and spent a FULL WEEKEND feeling rejected and used as well most likely.
Both parties handled it wrong... he shouldn't have assumed she was a three date girl... and she shouldn't have "went along" with plans for an expensive third date weekend getaway with a guy she didn't even have intentions of kissing thus far...
