- Texas A&M Baseball and Vanderbilt Baseball played in the SEC Championship Game in the 2023 College Baseball Season. The winner would earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, though both teams are safely in the field of 64, as Texas A&M is a projected 2 seed, while Vanderbilt is expected to be ranked as a top 8 national seed.

I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Florida and Arkansas make it close. If either Florida or Ark make it to CWS this year and vandy doesn’t then they’re going to fall off that hill.

Nothing wrong with a smaller stadium. But it needs an upgrade.
The upgrades are coming and still some of the best facilities in college baseball. But who cares anyway, they win big and often. Besides all that fancy stuff really means nothing if you ain’t got the hardware to showcase.
@@adamperry7848 the lack of facilities will catch up to them if they don’t fix it. Vandys a power but relatively new power. More in the last 10 years.
Without the facilities competing against other SEC teams will get tougher with recruiting.
At least fix the field.
And again….Vandys been great the last 10 years!

I honestly can't think of a team that deserves this less than Vandy. Smug team and that whistler shouldn't ever be allowed at ANY venue outside of Vanderbilts crappy little stadium.
Vandy has a deep bench, even when it comes obnoxious fans. The original Whistler died last year, but the new Whistler had been moving through the ranks and was ready to step right in.
