2021 OU hitters were loaded with power. Their lineup included 1>30 hr’s, 2>20 hr’s, and then 4 more >10 hr’s. 7 hitters double digits home runs in a season. Add 2 more with 9 hr’s. Unbelievable. Set the all-time home run record in 12 less games, than previous record. Hitters 1-9 have home run power. There will probably never be a more powerful hitting lineup assembled. To think they also had a team batting average of over .400 is mind boggling.
Man that’s a lot of homeruns hit in the World Series. This has to be a record for homeruns hit. Also #78 for Oklahoma hit a lot of homeruns. I wonder if that’s a record for a player.
Yes she and chamberlain were tied for most homeruns in a season with 30. Thats OU season record.. alo had 32 this yr or 33.. so she now hold the record for most homeruns in a single season in ok history... 37 is national record. And Jennings broke the national record for RBIs in single season as well.. oh a alo is working on breaking the national record for most homeruns in a career... she's decently close already and she will play next season so if healthy she will break it.
And OK was first this year for homeruns in a season, RBIs, batting averages per person and as a team, slugging percentage, and had national freshman of the year and also national player of the yr lol. And I know I'm forgetting records they broke...
Oh they broke the record nationally for most homeruns in a game with 13.. they had set record of 10 in a game vs Arkansas a few yrs back.. and broke record for most runs scored in a regional that they had previously set of 47.. now is 49.. 49 runs scored in 3 games and only one went 7 innings 😳 👏
at 4:15 what kind of moronic announcer starts talking about a perfect game or no hitter In the TOP OF THE 3RD INNING? Get some announcers who know what they're talking about. Embarrassing
8 is a bit of an exaggeration but this is literally the same exact dimensions of my local bronco league field (11-12yrs) and a lot of us hit homers there and a lot of them. Edit: it’s actually 5ft shorter it was 205 down the line and 225 to center.

The Oklahoma Iron Fists.💝
I still can’t stop remembering when Jayda Coleman’s mom reaction when her daughter hit it her first home run in the WCWS last year.
I love watching these on yt but it’s weird cause I was there and watched in person
Absolutely insane that out of all the home runs 34 OU had 15 of them.
OU 15 vs the field 19…..absolutely an embarrassment of riches here!
Wow that Shelnutt homer was a bomb
Pitchers all know when they are taken deep
Damn OK got hitters

Softball fans can’t catch those homers. Lol.
Seems like the under pitch gets blasted.
The overhand gets hit.

Remember…. These are women lol
Where’s it 250 at? I saw 200 down the line and 220 to center?
My 8 yr nephew could hit a Homer on that field...not impressed
