I figured the best way to showcase this build was to play a whole match with no cuts or anything. Anyone can make a build and upload just the highlights of the build and say it is great. But then you'd be missing out on the weaknesses of the build. I think this build is perfect for the current state of the game because it is so balanced. It can counter pretty much any play style, but also be offensive when you need to be. The only thing it's missing is volley, but you need to lose something in order to make sure everything else is decent.. During the match, I was saying that I felt my stamina was too low, but if it can be relatively okay for a 40 minute match, it can be fine for most matches. Thank you all for watching!
I’m struggling to find a build that suits me. I feel like I need 90+ speed and reflexes to have any chance against power meta players, but they can get to almost every shot with 50 speed. 😂 But then I have to sacrifice power, fh & bh too much. On 2k tour Agassi is almost the only one I can win with because high reflexes helps with timing so much. It’s weird but Agassi feels faster than Alcaraz. Maybe reflexes help with direction changes too, not sure as I thought it’s only for shot timing.
@@altounen Yeah, I feel like this game varies a lot match by match. Sometimes it feels like my feet are made of concrete, and sometimes out of feathers.I didn't think reflexes impacted directional speed as well, but yeah Agassi does feel better than Alcaraz movement wise. It's just weird all around lol.

Thanks ayreef, keep up the good work. 1) About the repositioning button, do you have to hold it or a simple press when your character is running ? 2) Also I think sometimes like 15:52 on defence you should do more top spin perfect control shot (it sends the ball very close to the baseline when it's done well like 18:26, 30:32 and especially 22:30 for example... even more compared to flat shot and it's impossible for the opponent to return this effectively leaving plenty of time for repositioning). 3) For stamina issue, not sure but maybe it's because you use too much repositioning button since it's supposed to drain a lot of stamina ?

They should lower the VC price on changing attributes! Especially after making big changes to how the stats work. Also, I like that the game forces you to choose your strengths by not giving too many attr points, but it seems that FH/BH/REF/POW are a necessary basis of every loadout. Maybe they should just increase the base FH/BH ability.
Agreed! I feel like 2700 is a bit steep, especially when they change how good the stats are. But, it's not too hard to get VC so I'm not complaining too much. I'm just glad they patched the game haha
Do you ever use topspin shots or even kick serves? I'm curious if the topspin invasion skill makes it that much better. Also, do you use the left bumper to run to balls quicker? From my understanding, it works like a split step button. I wonder if a high speed/high FH loadout would work well if you try to use inside out shots as much as you can. Perhaps a 60 BH w poisoned slices and inside out master would work well. I may try that out but I'm still levelling up.
I've been kick serving a decent amount ever since they nerfed slice serves. I only really do topspin shots when I am out wide and am trying to recover back into the middle. Yeah, I press lb pretty much every time after hitting the ball and trying to move to hit the next ball. That build could be good, but I find that trying to hit inside out shots is tough to do consistently since the game doesn't register it sometimes. But it may be worth a try!
What would you recommend prioritizing early in the game? I'm currently lvl 6 with 6 ap to spend. forehand 38 backhand 33 serve 32 volley 30 power 39 speed 33 stamina 35 reflexes 30 Where should I spend those 6 points?
Backhands are still to OP imo and Reflex should affect returns a bit more also with max reflex power and forehand you should be able to slap forehand return the ball once in a while
Agreed! It's much easier to hit super angled shots with backhand and reflexes should have way more of an impact. I do think they're working on updating reflexes though, which is good news! Forehand slaps would be mad fun. Kyrgios style!

Reflex and stamina is a must for how game is right now, 85 power only if u play in tournaments because thats the limit , if u dont, go at least 90 power and stamina over 70, reflex either 75 or 80 depends on u

Very nice video and very well played. Do you know if the hight and muscle tone of your player has as well any impact. For example you make your player 2m tall will he serve better? What about tennis style like single or double handed backhand?
Thank you! Unfortunately, they don't have any impact on your player besides visuals effects. The animations also don't matter either I don't think, and it just depends on which you feel most comfortable with. A lot of the top players use one-handed backhand, I'm not sure why exactly though.
I think a tall player can get shots over the net a little better, short player could maybe hit a bit more net shots. But could be just a feeling, I only tried each for a few games.
Also I took your advice and changed my build almost just as yours. It rocks when I hit perfect shots. Due to lag I am unable to predict and time the shots
Thanks for trying it out! If you're experiencing lag then using control shots may not be a good idea. I would increase power a lot more and maybe stamina. Then use more power shots during the match.
Hey man! Had another question - so ive managed to reach level 29 and now ive completed all 4 levels of a coach. I notice, the moment i hire anotther coach, my stats go down that i got from the coach. Dont those become permanent? Is there anyway becauee otherwise itll be impossible to actually make certain stats higher. I come against players with 97 power and 90+ fh, bh. Impossible yo play against .Thanks.
@@angadsngh01 Good question. Unfortunately you can only have one coach equipped at a time. If you choose another coach then the first will be unselected. Once you get to level 30, you’ll start unlocking tier 3 fittings that you can equip to increase stats even more.
I think the stamina afterwards is what your stamina really is. I think having the stamina bar be full is just a visual glitch. So before serving, it shouldn't be full unless you just started the match or set.
@@BryanKlemm Then I think the right fittings could get you over 85. You need to play a few games with your level 30 player to get all the tier 3 fittings
I cant play with this build.. i can barely hit a winner with either control or power , and i have 110-5 , it feels like i have no power in my shots with either shots , i feel like 85 is a must
I think u can go serve 30, i dont feel its necessary , i have 90 fh, 97 bh , 30 serve and volley, 85 power , 65 speed , 70 stamina , 83 reflex , mikolaj coach
I think my speed is something around there. The lag you're getting may be because the server location is far from India. Unfortunately, I don't think you could do much about it besides moving. Also, if you're playing on a TV instead of a monitor, that may impact latency so the lag may be from that also.
High power still is pretty good. But now, builds need to have higher serves than 30. So if they have higher serve and high power, then that means some other part of their game is lacking so we need to take advantage of whatever that may be.
I do agree it gets a little boring because it doesn't have any real strengths, just balanced all around. I'm hoping with the next update they do with increasing the impact of reflexes, that this build could be more like Agassi. I think that play style is pretty fun. Or a better version of Wozniacki.
Reflexes> speed my speeds at 60 and reflexes 84 my record is 64-15, about 88-89 backhand forehand, 98 power, serve 30 is ok, if you know how to serve, you win points on the cross court power shot after return
Yeah, I'm seeing that high power still balances out 30 serve to where it is still viable. I'm hoping they make speed have more of an impact because I still do see people running low speed builds and somehow reaching balls that should be out of reach.

I think that would be okay! Just be careful with opponents hitting you with super angled shots. 75 speed should be fine but some shots may be too far to get to. Hard hitter and service counter are good skills as well imo

Haha, I wish my memory was that good. I can tell you what I do remember though. His volley was 92, serve was 84, FH/BH were in the 60s, stamina was mid 70s, and rest were in the 60s or 70s I believe. Unfortunately, I couldn't see his coach but he had amazing first volley. I forgot what the other two skills were.

Thanks! 1) You get xp boosts from playing so use those and just grind career mode on at least hard difficulty. You get more xp from playing online but if your player is low level, it won't be too fun. Unless you only get matched with lower level players as well. Then it may be fine. That's a good combo for serving! But for getting breaks, it may be tough. You would need to win in the tiebreaks every time pretty much if you want to win
I think RB/R1 needs to be scrapped, only should be available to serve and volley players/builds.. too OP.. same with LT, needs some nerfing.. virtually impossible to get the opponent off balance, and I perfect time like over 85% of my shots, short angles, deep cross court, drop shots, wrong footers, power, control, top spin, flat, It doesn't matter...2k needs to sort...
@angadsngh01 i think it is meant to be like what a split step would be in real life... so like you are always in balance and also can be used as an approach/transition to the net shot...but it is way too overpowered

@@angadsngh01 I’ve heard some people use the dpad which is much easier for angles. They configure their keyboard to dpad or something like that.

Yea maybe repositioning uses more stamina. I use it but don’t really see much effect with it, sometimes feels like it doesn’t do anything at all.

How do you have so many attribute points? I can only apply up to 70 points per category and I have 180 points total to use
You can get more attribute points when you upgrade your coach and when you upgrade your fittings. Before you do those things, the max is 70

High power still is pretty good. But now, builds need to have higher serves than 30. So if they have higher serve and high power, then that means some other part of their game is lacking so we need to take advantage of whatever that may be.

This is basically Sinner build in 2k tour every fucking body picks fucking Sinner 95% of the matches, it gets so boring after two games a day

Yeah 60 would probably be too low then. You may need to increase it by 10 by taking away 5 from speed and reflexes most likely

Levelling up gives AP, and you can’t convert VC to AP. You get 6 AP each level

I do agree! Rallies feel a bit too long atm no matter what type of shot I do.
