Alfred how does the cat handle rough seas vs the other styles of hulls. Also why would someone choose the cat over the others
Is there a point to the narrow waterline and, therefore, narrow tunnel? There's all that width that could have been utilised for stability and performance. It would be dry boat with all that flare, but is it worth it?
Why is the tunnel so narrow??? I don't think it's wider than about 36"-40".

Big Aluminum cats are gaining popularity up here. Big question is their performance in beam seas. Whats your experience in how they handle? My current boat is a 28' kingfisher coastal express. North pacific seas are pretty unforgiving.
Chris Catamaran's like Freeman, Seahunter, Invincible all perform really well in rough seas.

A question about trailering. These boats are getting huge, but she talks about trailering. Does everyone just ignore the 8'6" width restriction? In Florida do you get a permit for a wide load?

I trailer my cabin cruiser and center console. I get wide load permits in each state I go in.

That’s a great question. I noticed some similarities. Maybe Sea Hunter partnered with Invincible on building the hull for this Sea Hunter as an intro to the catamaran market?
