I am 74 years old going through the stages of grief after losing my dear husband of 42 years over a year ago. Awakened, living alone, I am learning to find out who I am, how to make decisions alone. Grief can be a lonely road of uncertainty of who you truly are & what you truly want. I have experienced the Dark Night of the Soul & I accept we grow through these challenges. I am learning each step to trust, allow & accept that the Universe is guiding me by detaching from my old life involving myself in outside activities to find my path. I am 70 years old. I have come to a place where the only way forward I can see is to sell my current home . It is frightening to consider letting my home go without a place to live. I also need to let go because it seems the only way I will be able to acquire transportation. My old car has failed after 20 years. I am trying to gather the courage to sell. I have been trying to find somewhere to go to but nothing has materialized. Sometimes I feel I am too old.

I am nearly 77 and have travelled a great deal, living parttime for 10 years in Ecuador, however due to income, am now in Vancouver, Canada where I have family. family so important too!...my health pretty good but my eyes, epecially one, very weak...I love to travel and if I can leave for a little while, I certainly will, for in travel, into places I go, often not knowing a soul, such a freedom and I am a photographer, so love to see color, and culture! Always drawn to the Indigenous! Have been in India 6 times, often with the tribal peoples! Doing more inner work, meditation as know this is where I must focus but still the possibility of heading off for a little while! I am a free spirit and have seen many places! Spent many years in South America, Mexico, Guatemala, India, Bali, Thailand...the world has a huge offering of diversity in her peoples! Travel is demanding, and now getting more expensive! I am on limited funds but I have always been able to do it and to help many on my path! Good luck!

I have done the same thing and am waiting for the right place. After having built and established the very property I always wanted, now for some reason I had to sell. It seems the only way to attract new. Reinvention, self transformation, transmutation within. The urge for expansion and authenticity is so strong. It can be lonely and challenging but the deep urge to live only one’s eternal truth is what sustains us and brings us to the new vibrational reality. I am certainly in an unknown land as well but it is better than being in the old and unnourished, as I choose to create fullness in all areas and levels of my experience.
I’m an old American guy almost 75 and so far I’ve experienced good health and vitality. About five years ago I made a serious ethical mistake that led to four months in jail and legal entanglements for the rest of my life. Losing my profession and relying solely on social security I am near the end of my savings and in debt as well. At 31 I had a kundalini awakening which introduced me to something much greater than myself. I have stumbled off and on my path since and interesting enough I made the biggest mistake of my life at the end of a spiritual retreat. The feeling prior to the retreat was that it would be a turning point in this last phase of this life. Intending a deepening in connections to community and my work in the world. Preparing to be present in a deeper open hearted way that I might work until my last day. Now I can’t find a way forward and each day I feel more disconnected from the human experience. Spend time in nature with my dog and cats. I have access to a long closed landfill that I have been clearing trails making it easy enjoy this beautiful open land. The work gives me a sense of connection to the natural world feeling much less like a ghost.

Call in your guides for help on your path as they can only help you if you ask and they are more than ready to help you. You have many friends-we are scattered everywhere to hold the light. We have much help, we just have to trust and believe we are being guided.
I also made a mistake while on the spiritual journey that created legal problems for a while, but mostly it was the haunting of my mistake long after the legal problems ended. I hope you can forgive yourself. That is what I had to do. 🌹🌱🎈

I understand what you're saying! We've all been conditioned to believe one must work really hard to achieve success and be accepted by society. This is where I lost it and I had to resign from working because I had a complete breakdown. I just couldn't conform to the rules anymore and so I had no choice but to bail from the system. When I did it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my body and it was so liberating. When I stopped going to that job I would wake up so happy and start singing and dancing. I was 56 when this happened and I filed for disability and got it. Of course this wasn't without some challenges in which I blew through. My point is this was my greatest achievement. The reason is because I chose rather than allowing social standards to choose for me. Whatever you choose to do will be meaningful to you and this in itself is an achievement. But no you don't have to achieve anything you don't want because you are sovereign and have free will.

It's been 2005 since my awakening took place after my husband passed away at 51. I am now 70 years of age with life experience in ascending, recognizing I am a spiritual being living in a human body.

We are getting rid of everything literally ! Old mind sets and physical and material things. Retiring and moving to another country. Fear has been present yes but we must trust and go on. Knowing we have the light and guidance inside. We trust all is working out in our behalf and it is!
Thank you I had a difficult time earlier this year trying to learn to be less critical of my life choices and the experiences of childhood. I had to learn to let go and forgive not only myself but the people who misunderstood me so inflicted mental pain on me. I have now come through that but it took time a good 3 months. I am now a lot happier.

I have been stubbornly working through my personal growth, spiritual growth etc, but at present am seriously afraid that I won’t find the safe home I need. Yeah I know about the eagles mottling phase. What the eagle learns is detachment and to surrender control. This is how you become a great healer. I'll give a example of something that happened last year. A guy that lives behind me was outside talking to someone about their problems severe diabetes, very overweight, and migraines. I listened to intuition and it said drop this off to this person. I made something left it on their porch with a note and that was it. A year later THEY healed themselves. Weights gone, pain and meds gone. That is detachment and releasing control over circumstances. Then it's not the ego as the doer but the spirits that give guidance and you allow things to come to you not seek anything but being available and receiving guidance on life vs trying to get what the ego wants. Its time for me to do more outside of the internet so I can arrive where I'm supposed to be.

I completly agree I’m in the dark night. My health and my life I knew had to be dropped. Right now I’m in what you could say in limbo just letting go and following the stream. It much clearer for me I’m 59 and thought I was going crazy. You have been so much help and got me through so much thanks.

I’m 51 and this has been the worst year of my life financially. I don’t know if I’m going to make it. I feel completely stuck and don’t see a way out.
When I look back at the times I’ve been stuck, I realize now that it was because I kept getting back on a path that was no longer working - or meant - for me. To get off the path, I first had to challenge and change my old thought patterns. I’m hard-headed, so I had to become desperate first lol, but these days podcasts like these help me see before pure desperation sets in💕

So true plus the fact we have responsibilities like children for example +difficult partner relationship feels like I’m thorn apart and stuck at the same time . Children come first and their safety so it’s the matter of choosing what would be less hurtful to them either way there will be consequences. Fear of not being able to provide as a single parent or a the main reason I have no choice but to acknowledge that at this stage of my life I am unable to act from freedom of choice for myself only .

I emigrated to America blindly without family, without friends or anyone. The only way I could get here was domestic. The first year was horrible but I stuck it out, two other people I met later went back home to Europe.
I still believe in karma and not all what we want and desire turns out rosy pie in the sky kind of stuff.
I also learned to make the best out of every situation and then change and move if one can. People in wars do not have much choice but to react negative or positive to the changes. At 86 I no longer believe "pie in the sky" if one just does the "right things"
Will we know more when we are ready to see or believe?
