I've tried the Oreo Matcha & while I'm not a big fan of green tea the flavour was subtle. It was something different, but, I wouldn't have it again. Emmy I've seen ones in a citrus flavour. It's half orange & half yellow. One of my favourite colours

Also, the chocolate pie reminds me of a confectionery we have here in Australia called, "Wagon Wheels." I'm not sure if you have already tried them in a video but they are very similar, only the marshmallow is vanilla flavoured and accompanied with jam.
I don't care for the soft oreo's at all, they just aren't even in the same family in my opinion lol! I have learned to enjoy the matcha flavored stuff though and I didn't think I ever would! =}

I tried Chinese Matcha Ice cream flavor Oreos a while ago in the UK and they were SO GOOD. Really strong Matcha flavour as well as a cooling sensation.
They used to have the soft ones here in the US not sure if they discontinued them but I liked them a lot and they were twice the size. I will have to look for that regular green tea one at my local Japanese market.
Hi Emmy, love your videos. I think I know the reason why that matcha oreo tasted different. US Oreos are made in Chicago. They've tried to manufacture in other countries but it didn't taste the same. So production still in Chicago. My god father was a mixer of Oreos for 46 years, until he retired 3 years ago. Lol. They recently asked him to come back to oversee the mixing because I guess consumers noticed a change.
Am I the only one who remembers the Oreo cake things? They were individually wrapped soft Oreo cookies with the same filling that used to be sold in grocery stores here in the states. I used to get them all the time when I was little they were my favorite

I like it best when the cookies get stale and the staleness causes them to get soft so that the outside is more like a brownie and it tastes like you're eating cake instead of a cookie. I can't have milk because some lactose intolerance so the fact that it gets soft if you leave the box open is the best and that's the best time to eat the cookie
I think I would like the strawberry one and the regular matcha oreos. I always see all these flavours at the supermarket, but I've never bothered to try them since I don't buy snacks very often (usually just fresh produce).
There's a few Japanese and Korean markets in Gardena, CA., where my mother lives, my next visit I'm going to see if they sell these flavors in their stores, they look delicious! 😊

Something for you to try. I found Jello instant pudding cookies and cream flavor. It's interesting. I am lactose intolerant. Since the pudding won't set with soy milk I used Lactaid milk.
