As pessoas que mandaram moram nos EUA, então não deve ser uma marca genuinamente brasileira, ou é feita no Brasil, mas apenas para exportação.

Emmy, this video of yours was the third one I saw of foreigner people eating Brazilian snacks. And I must say that you were the one that made me the most happy with your reactions - the other two only had exaggerated reactions and said some slightly offensive things. So, I'd like to say "thank you", and congratulate on your nice behaviour.
Some curiosities: the Brazilian taste in general likes very sweet stuff, I'm saying this because I noticed how often you commented about the candies being sweet in taste.
A pity you were sent mostly only chocolate, because we do have some other stuff that are very good and unique, for example, "paçoca", which is made of peanut, and is mostly sweet, but salty at the same time.
Another curiosty, you compared the Charge with Snickers, and we do have Snickers here, but I think it only arrived recently on Brazil.

I absolutely love this video as a Brazilian when I see people try our foods I get super excited to see there reactions....but most of the times people can be very rude and mean towards how the "snacks" taste and most of the videos don't even have traditional snacks but this VIDEO IS AMAZING!❤️

Hello Amy! I 'm from Brazil and I would like to add some informations to your video :)
1 - That chocolate bar you called "Prestigi" is actually named Prestígio. Yeah, the coconut image is a "O"
2 - The most popular softdrink in Brazil is called "Guaraná Antarctica". I'ts kind of our national softdrink, like Coke for United States.
3 - Bis (that wafer chocolate) in Portguese means something like "Once again". The little separated pieces makes us eating one, and another one and so on... which reminds us of doing it again and again.. Bis! Once again!
    Just subcribed to your chanel.
    Greetings from Brazil!

Could not be different about our snacks or chocolates in general, wich I personally don't think are bad, not including this guaraná soda "brazilia" because I have never drunk, but ...
I really appreciate that because many videos I have seen, americans are destroying this kind of product came from Brazil. But She hasn't been doing it,

natfv you say it like Brazil is the furthest away from western culture possible and that our snacks would somehow taste wildly different for some reason. Most of the snacks they tried over at Smosh have an equivalent in the US. They weren't just messing around, they were being dicks unnecessarily. At least that's how I perceive it.

Actually the coconut candy bar is called Prestigio, but the letter "o" is a opened coconut so it's a trick to people who don't know this chocolate.
Nice channel, you're really eloquent and inteligent, keep up the good work.

I'm Brazilian, and actually we have here so many examples of typical candies from different regions across the country. Unfortunately, the people who sent you these samples chose only products that we found on supermarkets, that come from industry. Much part of our candies are homemade, taught from generations to generations. I hope someday you can come to our country and taste the delicious Brazilian cooking, including the candies.

emmymadeinjapan I invite you and all Americans to try Brigadeiro and Coxinha. They are the best and the most popular treats in Brazilian Parties, especially kid's parties.
Brigadeiro is a chocolate candy, it's like a cream ball covered with chocolate sprinkles.
Coxinha is a fried salt treat. It's like a "pome" (in form and size) made of dough and stuffed with chicken.
they are hard to describe in a text, you really should try it and discover for yourself how they are like. I'm sure you are going to love them.

about Chokito, everybody who lived through the 80s in Brazil know by heart the ingredients because of the jingle, which were the ingredients sung: leite condensado, caramelizado, com flocos crocantes e coberto com o delicioso chocolate Nestle (condensed milk, caramelized, with crunchy flakes and covered with the delicious Nestle chocolate... yes, that´s how much ads for kids stuck in their minds.

  • @Babygirlyouretheheart
    @Babygirlyouretheheart 11 лет назад +4

YAAAAAYY!!! Ok, some curiosities about these treats:
-The name of the banana treat is not Fazendinha, Fazendinha is the name of the brand! The name of the candy is "doce de banana" or "bananada" which can be translated as "banana candy". It usually can have the sugar crust outside but it can also be plain (I like it plain better cause it's not that sweet).
-I never saw that brand of guaraná in my life so I have no idea if the taste is legit (mainly cause they sent you a diet one), but the most consumed brand of guaraná in Brazil is actually produced by Coke and it comes in a green can!
-Also never saw that brand of goiabada, but they also can be found without the sugar crust
-The original Chokito is not white, it's milk chocolate, I think the white one was supposed to be a limited edition but they might have sticked with it
-Lollo is a VERY old candy bar, it used to be called Lollo when it was released but then they changed the name to Milkybar (which makes no sense since there is an american candy bar called Milkybar that has nothing to do with it). Then I think it was actually out of market for a while (not sure) and then it was finally released again with the old name =D I personally don't love it, but it's ok.
I wish they had sent you more tradicional and better stuff, but I understand it's hard to find everything, I hope you get more brazilian packages soon!

Actually I think the most consumed brand of guaraná is Antartica and in second place comes Kuat (from coca cola)... And I've never seen that brand here as well...
BIS are so popular in Brazil that Hershey's made it's own version... we have the milk chocolate, white chocolate, lemon, orange... they have this name 'cause it's impossible to eat only one
