I love that your verses are more considered than 'just verses containing the topic word' and more concept/theme oriented (eg: iron sharpening iron and three cords for community) I love hearing the process of talking through your selections.
I am planning to make a prayer Bible for my nephew who is getting married next year. One of my topics I'd like to pursue is Unity. I am loving this process of diving in and turning it into a gift.
You are both so wonderful to listen to and you are definitely “iron sharpening iron.” Thank you for doing this… A few topics I am thinking about are protection/healing, frustration/peace, growth and seasons of waiting (as an older mom of high school and college kids, there is a lot of waiting and “purposeful parenting with fewer words and less time with our children” as well as prayer for their growth and walk with the LORD). Blessings to you and all our Jesus following friends around the world. ❤
Thanks for this great idea. I did buy a journaling bible just for this and it is so helpful to have the space to write. As a visual person, it would be great to highlight the verse in the same color of tab.
Question how can you find out what your gifts are that God gives you and how do we find out our calling for our life? i am so glad and so thankful that i have find this channel and thank you both for everything you are sharing and teaching! i have watched so many videos on prayer bibles and how to make them but these two videos have helped me understand it so much more! have a awesome week!!!
anxiety and fear are HUGE topics for people! There's a reason God has to say "do not fear" 360+ times...because we are PRONE to fear and we need the constant reminder!

I really like digging for examples of how biblical characters handle anger. Like Jonah. God's response to his unrighteous anger was "Do you do yourself well to be angry?" Such a parent thing to say! haha
Yes! There are 20 flags in each stack and I want to leave a few flags for the recipient to continue flagging scripture if they so please so I'll flag usually about 15 of every topic and leave the remaining 5 or so for the recipient. :-)
