No problem, next weeks video will be better. I haven’t been out much so this was one of the few ones I have. Thank you for watching! I appreciate the comments and likes.
Man them ribbon fish are awesome looking brother, definitely a cool catch! Congratulations on 1k you definitely deserve it man, you do a awesome job on your videos!
Just got stationed here in Charleston not too long ago and just started saltwater fishing. I've been to Mt. Pleasant pier and Pitt St. Bridge, is there any other places you'd recommend? I do have a kayak if need be.
I’d get in the kayak as soon as you can. It will open up less pressured fishing and better spots. I’ve caught a lot of fish at Pitt street before having my kayak.
We actually caught about 30 sea bass but I couldn't make anyone sit through that. If you watch last week's video, that was actually the second part of this video. We tore up those reds.
@@1stDownFishing yeah kinda did the same, but all the sea bass where 10” or less , shit ton of ribbon fish, 1 large red and couple of 40 inch bonnet heads
Lol first time at the jetties and your doing a how to. A how to would cover how to anchor or position your self where and when on which tide and wind, what bait for what and where. Kind of a misleading title my first time fishing Charleston jetties would be more accurate. No How to fish the grillage? lol Congrats on the 1K keep
1k giveaway....loving it.
Cool vid.
I stopped fishing the jetties. Too many trash fish in there. Good luck on your next trip though.
We caught like a hundred sea bass that day but I cut them out because they were all ten inches. Thanks for watching!
Man I really miss fishing there in Charleston. I'll watch every single video until I can come home again. Thank you.

Thank you. Apparently they are great king bait but they have some nasty teeth. I hear the jetty system is full of them right now.
hell yeah im getting ready to move from the florida panhandle to charleston, excited to learn some new waters
Anything I can help you with please let me know. I appreciate any support that you have to the channel.

@@1stDownFishing sounds like a plan, especially with the nice weather coming up. Thank you for the reply!
No problem, right now the creeks will have great redfish in them. If you’re new to the salt, get a Carolina rig with a live mullet or cut bait.
I was out there on Monday, had the exact same results as you lol

We missed a red, we think but I had the camera off. We didn’t have a single shark bite there and the sea bass were tiny. Every single one of them 🤣
Great video 👍🏼 nice ribbon fish! Let us know if you want to collab going for bull reds off the beach.
Yes sir! I was with Jeremy last week trying but we didn’t have any luck.
Can you anchor by the jetty?
We always spot lock!
Done.
👍🏻
