Yeah the texting thing is odd. If I hadnt heard from somebody in 10 years and they texted the first words would have to be this is so and so you know your mother. otherwise all you are gonna see is a phone number and if I ever see an unidentified number saying hi how are you It immediately gets deleted. So yes the only sensible way to do this is send a text saying who you are and ASK if I can call you. Then call and talk not text. And why is it ok now? If its ok now, then it was ok 10 years ago. Or was it I always wanted to talk to you but I wasnt given permission, just like beards and pants now we have permission to do what we wanted to do all along. So what is it you cant get permission to do today, that you really want to do, that they are gonna permit you to do next year?

Then my sister sends my mom who i care for, a note 7 years LATER, out of nowhere, not even a boo to me or to our mother and DEAD SILENCE for an ENTIRE 7 years, but only to announce who died, and to tell our mom and myself she has been praying for us. Might as well just say Merry Christmas or Happy New Year..The mumble jumble filler talk for God is off the charts.
