Sanskrit is the mother of Hindi
Your policians always prevent you from learning Hindi
Almost 75%+ Indians from different states are able to understand Hindi or speak Hindi

That's why I prefer Samskritized Hindi. By doing so it doesn't leave me 'absolutely' unaware about what a guy from South wants to say in his local language. I get an idea of the things. Something is better than nothing.

In Telugu language there is a Kavya in which the same padya when read from beginning ( the usual style) it tells the Ramayana story and when read from the end to the beginning ( in the reverse manner) it narrates Mahabharata story. Such was the mastery on language. Even in present times there are pundithas, vidwans who do Ashtaawadhana and Sathaawadhana. But regrettably the number of such programmes of such scholars is dwindling.

Diversity and differences should be celebrated and not create disharmony. Most Indians (including most Hindus) enjoy Urdu based poetry (shayari, ghazal) as it has been popularized by Bollywood. That is fine. Hindi has been shortchanged under the Nehru Gandhi dynasty and efforts to promote it are to be commended.

Sanskrit is not a Bhasha or language in the modern sense. It is a sound system where elementary sounds called Varna/ Akshara are building blocks and there is an amazing relationship of these elementary sounds / varnas and the prakriti / life..

    • @arunsannake1911
      @arunsannake1911 3 года назад +4

Bhasha itself is a "sound-System" whereby humans learn to make it useful for daily business in their life cycle. So all bhashas of the world are equally important.

      @@arunsannake1911 you are missing the
Point. Sanskrit is unique and amazing wherein the science of sounds called -Shiksha - teaches you the sounds where the stress is on uchxharanam ( pronunciation) which is of utmost importance than meaning per say. Bhasha / languages are meant for communication where sound of words do not matter. While in case of Sanskrit it is not so. Nama-Rupa - > sounds and manifestation has a unique coherence and resonance which is completely missing in All other Bhashas. So this habit of making all languages are same and equal is not correct. Sanskrit being a sound system
Is proved beyond doubt and I don’t have time to go over it. Yo understand Sanskrit sound system I would suggest to study first shiksha grantha and then you would understand it. You can’t undermine Sanskrit unique place by such over simplification . That will not be just.

If these so Called sound cannot connect people how can people involved will progress in all walks of life .People speaking sanskrit can survive with honour/ satus how one can justify the sanctity of this language. For example some somebody comes on the door and says भिक्षांनदेही people offer him something hoping that he/she will get पुण्य but some labour goes to his master's door and REQUEST to pay his labour charges it is not certain that he will get his dues.
Got my point? This is the wonder of this sanskrit-sound.This scene is very common at village levels.
We r lucky first time that Now prime minister Shri. Narendra Modi trying to brinh out some changes.

Btw, when I was in High school in West Bengal, I had Mechanics (in Bengali medium) as a subject where we were taught "Speed", "Velocity" and "acceleration" as " Gati", "Vegh" and "Twaran" respectively. All from Sanskrit - I believe. And that was in the year of 1969. Similarly, "Oxygen" is "Amlajaan" and "Hydrogen" as "Udjaan", "Computer" as "Gananank" etc.

    Velocity - वेग
These words have been well translated a while ago. No need to reinvent the wheel .. look at the text books of late 60s and early 70s of vernacular medium and you will easily find the Sanskrit equivalent of English scientific terminology which were derived after lot of research

I wouldn’t call Devadutta a Kathakaar .. Kathakaar - story teller does not twist the facts and do the narration. While Devadutta precisely does that. He never does any talks to subject matter experts like Sanskrit Pandits who are authorized on the subject. But his audience is 100% Sanskrit-illiterate and since Devadutta thug uses klisht English , he is able to sell it to these Sanskrit-Anapadh audience

Also Nityanandjis Guruji Rambhadracharya has done this is our current times from the Ramanandi viewpoint.

    Interesting Tidbit:
Passion comes from the Latin root word Pati which means suffer. The German word for Passion is much more direct: Leidenschaft (A state of suffering)
So passion is something for which you choose to suffer. you take pains for it.

It is so pathetic to see the mindset of new generation who do not want to name their children with ancient rich SAmskrit names and our shastras are full of such powerful names. It is so sad to see this vague mindset of disowning their own culture .. To say the least - this is most sad and pathetic ..

Interesting discussion.. many of the Sanskrit words which migrate
“ as is”, to Indian colloquial languages, change the original meaning. The Sanskrit word Purushartha when used in Hindi for example is used as synonym of Parahram / prayasa while that is not how purushartha is used in Sanskrit. The use case and/or context iof word purshartha between Sanskrit and Hindi are completely different

Panini's sutras were based on the rule he made using what he called "Maheshvara Sutras". This is the first thing one learns before diving into Panini's "Ashtadhyayi". With the rules of "Maheshwara sutras", Panini elegantly could refer to his rules in the sutras without elaborating too much. Many commentaries (a famous one by Patanjali) were written on his "Ashtadhyayi" later on.
No grammar anywhere in the world has come close to the precision to which Sanskrit grammar has been enunciated by panini and followed strictly since.
