I'm also on the Yana's-surprise-plot-twist train. I was talking it over with a friend & I thought it was kinda too easy for Crowley to be Levan. Since Yana has pulled the twins move before, I wouldn't be surprised if Crowley and Levan were brothers/twins. My reasoning for this is that the fandom is still on the fence about which of the two ravens Crowley is inspired by (Snow White or Sleeping Beauty). So, I think Crowley is the Evil Queen's raven as that one is a more goofy/unserious, and Levan is Maleficient's. Therefore Crowley might be watching over Malleus and Lilia in Levan's stead. There's not much to go on for this, but I think it's more plausible than Crowley being Levan.
For Lilia's acceptance letter, I'm betting it was a royal historian. After all, Lilia was an incredibly noteworthy military leader, to the point that he's mentioned, _by name,_ in NRC's history textbooks. Not to mention being Maleus's godfather. NRC is seen as an incredibly prestigious academy. His acceptance letter was absolutely going to be snatched up by historians.
Considering how Azul’s mom met Azul’s step dad (he was her divorce attorney) that means they have divorce court in the coral sea. So I wonder what divorce court in the Briar valley looks like. Also I loved your Ace videos. I watched it twice and showed it to my friends.

Interesting theory, although personally I doubt it. In Lilia's dream after OB Malleus showed up, Lilia was surprised by his appearance, thinking it was Levan from his looks and voice, but Malle got his mom's horns so Lilia then doubted that it was indeed Levan. Crowley sounds nothing like Malleus either which makes me doubt this theory even more. Btw about Mozus Trein's name I think it's just a pun from Cinderella's step mom's name, Lady Tremaine. First off, great video! I also noticed that there's some parallels to Malleus and Crowley. Mainly Malleus's glorious masquerade card and Crowley's ssr card. Mainly because the poses are similar and Malleus's masquerade outfit having a big feather thing (can't think of what it's called right now) and Crowley having a similar garment on. Probably a few other cards too, but that's all I can find currently until another book 7 update. I still think Crowley could be Malleus's dad but we'll have to wait and see^^

Though I am and will always be a Malleus fan, I have also been a huge fan of Crowley since the game’s release. I don’t see him as a father figure (or deadbeat dad) to the MC, which is a popular headcanon in the fandom. I simp for this man. So, imagine me realizing the possibility of Crowley, one of my favorite characters I simp for, being the father of my favorite TW character of all time that I also simp for, Malleus. It feels weird thinking that Crowley might be his father. If it actually becomes true, don’t know if I can recover from such a shock. I prefer the fan theory that Crowley and Levan are separate beings, very likely being brothers. I hope this is the case. There are many points that favor the Crowley=Levan theory but I hope that it isn’t true. Funnily enough, I have also come across a post giving a short (and a joke) theory that Grim might be Levan. That would be very interesting but does it have a foundation? Not really. What we really need to know is his motives, if he has any, but it’s heavily implied. All we can do now is wait for the next chapters which are painstakingly slow to update.
Seeing this after it was confirmed that levan was the one who put Lilia’s acceptance letter both back together and in the royal archives is amazing, personally I can go either way I just wanna see Crowley get his butt kicked for all the bs he puts up through
@@princessmacarons9347well it was confirmed that after Lilia tore the letter apart, levan was the one who picked up all the torn pieces and stuck them back together and then after put it away somewhere safe in case Lilia ever changed his mind, but I can’t remember if it ever specified where he saved it

Sorry took a bit to find, but its in book 7 chapter 83 after one of those hexagon battles you get a cutscene of a memory of malleus receiving his letter to nrc and Lilia taking about going with him and how he was able to keep his own safe for so long despite being so disorganized (dame malleus XD) Also it’s confirmed there that it was put in the archives by the dragoneye duke- malleus father
@@princessmacarons9347 Wish the battles had names but if you wanna find it it's the one that gives the buff/debuffs: curse, freeze and blind and a reward after. I think it's the only battle that has three debuffs. But I play on the English server so it might translate differently?

Personally, I think that Crowley is the conterpart of Malicifant's crow/raven Diabolo. It would explain why he appears to have similar features to Malleus.
i have doubts about Crowley = Levan theory mostly because of the timeline. According to his dream, Lilia has already recieved the invitation before Levan went missing during the human-fairy war. Before that, Levan was probably in Briar Valley most of the time. Who was the headmage of NRC, then? It is an old establishment, but I think Crowley came into the picture some ~100 years ago before the main story took place (yeah, like the number of years NRC keeps losing spelldrive tournaments to RSA). Surely, Levan couldn't have known how it all turns out to save Lilia's invitation. While it doesn't really disprove the theory and might actually make it more plausible, now that I think about it, even if it's all Crowley's plan, why go through all of this? What could possibly be stopping him from revealing himself to be Levan?
