One day my eyes were opened to this and God changed everything about my struggling prayer life.
Looking at the plain text Eph 6:17-18 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-"take... the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God"
How do I take up the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God? The next verse tells us how. "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit". In other words, take up God's word in prayer. Pray the word. That is praying in the Spirit with the Spirit's sword! This I know, if prayer is comingled with the daily reading of scriptures, praying over what we read, a person's prayer life will have a new life in the Lord that words cannot describe.
This entire series was inspiring. Thank you so much, Pastor David, for all your hard work.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord I passed this along to my son and his wife and another young couple about to be married and they found your teaching on ‘submission’ - as it pertains to our walk with Christ - very, very enlightening!
