11-25-2024 , I no this Thanksgiving recognize my sinful nature , that in Christ have been forgiven by grace THANK YOU Jesus . Amen may God bless your ministry and the outstanding work of Translation.
I was made alive in Christ before my salvation. Or this is how I look at it. I was 50 before I was led by God to go to church and at that time cried all the way through that service. I felt that I was led home. At a later date during an Alpha Course I had an amazing experience of the Holy Spirit where I was so overcome with grief for my absolute sinfulness that I thought I would never stop crying - then after that such peace and joy. I had a complete turn around in my life, different interests in music, reading and huge changes in my behaviour and outlook to life. Praise You my Lord.
Your predestination and "election" gave you the ability to "hear" and respond in faith. It is at this point You were saved. So I agree, you were made "alive" in that you were enabled by your "election" to be saved. The "gift of grace" / salvation is offered by election = "made alive" but it is of no value unless it is "recieved".
You do an amazing work in spreading the Gospel. I’ve never been familiar with Ephesians but through the Holy Spirit and as you teach verse after verse, I’m learning to love all the scriptures which enriches my faith.
Order of operations for salvation. Step one, the gospel is declared that Jesus Christ is Lord 1Co 1:21; 2Co 4:5. Step two, God shines his glory on that word that was declared while simultaneously he shines his glory into the hearer's heart which enables them to have faith to believe for salvation 2Co 4:6. Step three, they confess Jesus as Lord Rom 10:9a. Step four, they believe in their heart God raised Him from the dead Rom 10:9b. Step five, God raises them from the dead Eph 2:5-6. All of this happens in a twinkle of an eye!
Pastor Lance replies - Biblical belief is not mere intellectual assent to the fact of a historical person named Jesus who was a 1st Century Jew. Biblical belief is TRUSTING in Jesus FOR something specific - that He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Conviction is the work of the Holy Spirit moving someone from that mere intellectual assent INTO trust in Christ as Savior.
Ephesians 2 is the fulfillment of the Ezekiel 37 two stick prophecy. ……The reuniting of the two houses of Israel. It has nothing to do with racial unity.
Hosea 11:4 is the correct reference @ 10:28
Thank you for this gentle correction! It has been pinned and added to the video description

I know people who believe but aren’t converted. I think somehow you have to believe first. How else would you feel conviction to repent?
