- Hey Everyone!
Have you ever been to a live model horse show? Wonder what all the fuss is about? Come along with me as I pack up, sort my show horses, and show at Indian Nations Live in Oklahoma!
I hope you all enjoy seeing what a real show looks like-- and that you like all the drool-worthy eye candy on the show tables! There were so many rare Breyer and Stone horses that I couldn't get pics of them all.
Oh! And keep watching for a special Missouri model horse announcement!

Looks fun and slightly overwhelming. I love that Palomino Appaloosa on the one table! They are all so beautiful!

I so miss live shows, none in my area
That's too bad! Hopefully someone will start hosting one close enough for you to get to!
Hey there! I've got a question for the more experienced showers out there.
I'll be going to the Indian Nations Live coming up here in the next month. I'm a first time shower and have a dilemma I need help with. Among the other models in my string, I have my Premier Club Astrid. I don't see any classes that I could put her in... Norwegian Fjords are not a pony, so I can't enter her there. Any suggestions from anyone? A little stuck here, haha. Thank you.
BOY was that FUN to watch!!! :D
I think showholders need to start separating out various runs.. or even by price range.. or all the most expensive horses will just run the table in winnings! It's all for fun right? so, I say broaden the fun a bit ;)
I think it just depends on the judge on the day-- I've seen raffle models lose to really nice examples of common runs when someone chose an excellent breed for their horse with documentation. Now collectability is it's own ball of wax! But breed can be anyone's ball game with research, I think. :)
Awww.. Hi Tinker! Been DYING for a new model horse vid from any of my favorites :) thanks for sharing!
How do you find shows to go to? I know that Breyer does shows at BreyerFest and BreyerWest, but I know everyone goes to local ones too.
Try the NAMHSA website! Any show that is NAN qualifying will be listed there. I think most regions also have a Facebook group--or a local model horse club page might have them listed too.
@@lonesomeglory3767 thank you! I will check it out!
I miss live shows!
The haunting sounds incredibly fun but too far from pa :(
Aw, thanks! I hate that distance gets in the way.
