Day 2 & 3 - Girl Builds Flemish Bond Extension

This is Part 2 of the Flemish bond extension - Day 2 & 3.
I hate to say it guys but there will be a part 3 - to get it up to wall plate and the gables, which i will upload in a few days time.
I would prefer to upload in 3 parts rather than one long half hour video just because i feel shorter videos are more engaging. let me know what you think? do you prefer longer or shorter videos on RUclips?

only one comment, if you had cut a 3/4 brick and layed it on first course above plinth brick l/h quoin you would follow bond below plinth. then revert back to queen closer on third course. other than that very nice work

My favorite bond is Flemish bond in a nine inch wall although on a cavity wall looks good but not fussed building them good job 👍

How you getting on with the new bon trowel. When bricklayers tv showed it on his channel the handle looked as if it could be pushed forward bit more , is that the reason for the tape. Good work

On the plinth brick why didn’t you do Flemish bond to follow the perps underneath would look loads better than the 3 cuts you put in nearly with straight joints

flemish bond is solid what you are doing is vaneer not flemish bond just looks like flemish

any brickwork is a veneer, dont have to be solid. take it from a bricky that has been in the game for 42 years
