Adobe product like photoshop got lot of settings for printing-chain industry (resolution dpi/ppp, calibration, color separation etc…) But thanks anyway for you propositions. Thanks , this may be the solution to an issue I was having with some ai generated images . I got something that was pretty perfect but it wouldn't zoom out , fingers crossed I can make it work with Krita 😁
Krita generative AI is veeery unstable, crash the Mac after few iterrations. And only works in 8 bits mode. IF you don't setup a local Stable Diffusion server, it is unsable. Unfortunately. In don't know if it is the same thing on PC, but on Mac, doesn't work properly. And on real photograpghies, it isn't as clean as pshop. 4K is a pretty small image... ;) All AI alternative I used were liited to 1024 to 1024 images. Sadly, there is no really wlrking alternatives to Adobe on Mac/AMD... As far as I know, but I may be wrong, the issue with Adobe is when you use the cloud. Those alernatives are fun, free, but just toys for the moment.

They claim that the license to this older versions have expired. Don't take my word for it, I just read some shit on the Internet. Check for yourself.

CC version licensing had different terms as the CC versions are a subscription and therefore considered more of a "rental" of the software, whereas the CS versions were outright purchases and were owned by the purchaser.

you mean raw editing? Krita does support raw photo editing with basic adjustment tools but there are other alternatives... try like RawTherapee or Darktable

In gimp you have even fogra profiles and opens raw, even the ninkon raw files that adobe only like for a few year back 😂 that "color profiles" stuff is not anymore an Adobe only 😂

Krita lacks a lot that photoshop has- I run both- Krita i run in linux, and am always disappointed when I try to do things like in photoshopz- to me, Krita is like a 1/4 to 1/2 of photoshop capability-wise

A tip to avoid blurry results in generative fill is to create small areas each time (max 500x500px) because it's trained on this canvas size.
