Gorgeous flowers, Laura. You showed some of them with spots of dust and that reminded me of all my flowers and veggies that are covered in ash from all the fires here in the Rogue Valley, and other parts of Oregon and California. We've got ash all over everything. (Sigh) But, my plants are still alive and I'm not complaining. I have family who lost everything to the fire; escaped in his vehicle with only the clothes on his back as the flames devoured his entire home. Your Dahlia's are absolutely beautiful!!! I grow Dahlia's in California (9b), though, it's been a struggle this year with such a long stretch of triple digit days and nights without a breeze that my plants developed powdery mildew. Then, just when I thought I got it cleared up it's back again and again. Yours made me realize its all worth the challenges. Thank you so much for focusing on your Dahlias today... I really needed it. You are a rock star!
Dearest Laura, My Mum would love you as her daughter. When I was a little girl, I asked my Mum to cut some flowers out of her garden so I could take a bunch of flowers to my school teacher. She said no, only because she couldn't bring herself to give up her flowers. Anyway, I was crying on my way to school because of it, and a lady up the road whom was outside and had a garden full of blooming roses asked me why I was crying. I told her and she said that she would have a bunch of flowers ready for me to take to my teacher the next day. It was massive. And so beautiful. But, it wasn't until decades later that I realised my Mum would have really appreciated those gorgeous flowers herself x
What a stunning arrangement! Gorgeous! I have to say that I personally adore the cactus dahlias and those with more pointed petals far more than the more compact, tightly petalled blooms for some reason. I think, though, that is a style. My garden is a bit on the wild and carefree side, while yours is more structured , so everyone has their preference. I DO, though, admire your style ALL. THE. TIME.! I could lose myself in your videos and admire all the hard work, knowledge and dedication you and Aaron put into your outdoor (and indoor, too) space. I am inspired daily!
I just planted my first dahlias I’m so excited but nervous I did them to close. I didn’t realize they get so tall. One day hoping to have a cut garden like yours
Absolutely brilliant! I just love that you put all the different dahlias and flowers together and what a stunning result! It looks a lot like the arrangements I drew and painted in art class. You’ve definitely got an artists eye. Your arrangements all have such great movement. I can’t wait until we move to Idaho and I check out what all I can plant there. Laura, your an inspiration to me! If I can get just a quarter of your success I’ll be over the moon. You’ve inspired me to get my Master Gardeners license. I can not wait!! Thank you for all you and Aaron do to nurture the love of all different plants and our green thumbs. You guys ROCK!!!!♥️
And to all those who habitually rant about how much money Laura spends on plants (despite this being her business), this was probably the least expensive (cost-wise) arrangement she's ever done. Sure, there was the cost of the infrastructure/investment of the drip tape and staking materials but they're all reusable. Next year, her only costs would be seeds and new tubers, if she likes. I'm not big on dahlias but the pom-pom variety is spectacular, at least from a geometric perspective. It's remarkable nature creates such perfect structure in flower blooms, huh? Can't wait for the tree-planting video....
@Ella Blun She's been attacked many times for the amount of plants she buys. The fact that you use the term 'filthy rich' shows that you're jealous. Why on earth do you care how much property she buys? Five acres is more than some have but much less than others. What does it matter to you? And your comment about getting paid to defend her?...Get a grip, woman.
Just like fruits and vegetables harvested from home,it is equally satisfying to get home grown cut flowers too. The dahlia video was superb.wish you'll upload one more video when they are in full bloom.
,,I'm not gonna show you everything today"
proceeds to show us every single flower. 😄
That's why we love you! 💜

I love the bachelor's buttons and the celosia! The textures add something special to the softer flowers. I really enjoy the overall structure.
Talented Laura, that was beautiful, EVERYTHING!!
I planted about five or six dahlias this year and I am totally enchanted with the flowers. The colors the structure they are just amazing. And now it's fall and when nothing else is blooming except my zinnias and salvias these are just absolutely stunning. I definitely want more for next year. I am in my sixties and my father and mother always had dahlias and I never paid attention to them and now I'm totally hooked.
You make the most beautiful arrangements. The colors are gorgeous.
The bees are going to town in your flower beds, that's awesome! Beautiful flowers!
Watching from Philippines. What a beautiful flower arrangement Laura.😍❤
Gosh...can you get any better? Absolutely stunning flowers, the best music and a beautiful arrangement. Thank you.
Russell just came for a little loving lol
LAURA, THE ARRANGEMENT IS GORGEOUS!!!I love the warmth of the colors 😍 You have made me fall in love 😍 with dahlias, that cafe Ole is so beautiful . I hope your smokey air is starting to get better. Take care and God bless you all.
Beautiful composition and structure in arrangement.....you are gifted, my dear! Lovely🌲🌿
I love your freestyle way of arranging flowers 💐. I think what is available in the garden makes you rethink how to arrange them. Lovely ! The music in the background took me back to college when all our friends played various instruments together and it was a great memory! Thanks
such a beautiful place to live....i hope someday i’m gonna have this kind of thing but not as big garden as yours...you are such an inspiration to me and everyone else...more videos please😉😘😘😘
That celosia and those snapdragons just ......incredible. You have a wonderful eye for combining colour and texture.❤️
They are beautiful.
Dearest Laura,
My Mum would love you as her daughter.
Wonderful story. I love that.
You genuinely seem over joyed at how great everything is growing😊 Love your talent and enthusiasm, seeing Russell doesn’t hurt either 💐🌸🌺🐈
1.01 Million subs!!!!!!!
Laura : "You can see the drip hole..."
Russell : "Ha! Not anymore!"
Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers and day.
Just beautiful! I want to try a “small” area of these next year, so pretty!
That bouquet is 🤩😍🤩🌱🌱🌱
I just planted my first dahlias I’m so excited but nervous I did them to close. I didn’t realize they get so tall. One day hoping to have a cut garden like yours

Laura you have a great eye for floral arrangement design. The dahlias are gorgeous and Russel is a scene stealer. I enjoy your videos everyday.
Amazing growth! Russell is fun! I’m going to try drip tape next year!
Gorgeous as usual.
russel be like "pay attention to me"
Russell: "Where is it? I think I may need glasses."
J J Russell pops in about 2:40😀
Absolutely brilliant!
@Ella Blun you kinda just proved my point, lol. Thanks!
Kisses,
Jake
@Ella Blun She's been attacked many times for the amount of plants she buys. The fact that you use the term 'filthy rich' shows that you're jealous. Why on earth do you care how much property she buys? Five acres is more than some have but much less than others. What does it matter to you? And your comment about getting paid to defend her?...Get a grip, woman.
Just like fruits and vegetables harvested from home,it is equally satisfying to get home grown cut flowers too. The dahlia video was superb.wish you'll upload one more video when they are in full bloom.
NAMASTE LAURA I WISH YOU MAY BE SAFE .LOVE FROM INDIA 🇮🇳🇮🇳
So beautiful. You should be proud.
