*Quick Q+A* Q: What the hell am I listening to?! A: That is an edited version of the Clock Tower Boss theme with the vocals from the Small World attraction. Warren Spector, creator of the game, had the idea of adding the vocals but never went through with it. And that's when I came along and did the dirty deed. No regrets. Q: Your username and avatar look eerily familiar. Why is that? A: Well, you're talking to the very person who made that boss track edit 14 years ago. Yep, I'm still around playing games and doing stupid stuff like this. Q: Are there other things different in this video? A: Yeah, as long as I was editing I added back/fixed a few bits. - The intro track was replaced with the hippo area music in Gremlin Village instead of just playing the boss theme immediately. - The clicks and chimes after completing the boss are absent in the remaster, so I added them back. - Also absent is the fanfare when your paint/thinner capacity increases.
Ooh, I like how, instead of covering up the toon armor of the arms in paint, you actually finish painting it up, kinda like the Blotworx Dragon in Epic Mickey 2! Neat rework of a mechanic that wasn't entirely obvious!
It's a world of pain it's a world of tears it's a world of sin and your primal fears it's a world made out of your broken dreams it's a small small world
I' a bit split on how to feel on the fight now. On one hand, it's a better fight; the obstacles are more than just the hands now, and the paint path is more obvious due to needing to finish the hands instead of adding a darker blue. However on the other hand, the atmosphere is ruined by the brightness and the distance between you and the clock tower, the hulking machine ready to crush you into paste is now a football field away. Not to mention, painting the hands is a pain with you needing to hit all the digits instead of the hands themselves and it isn't easy to see what you missed.
I will say, considering they added vocals to the freaky rendition of "It's a Small World", big missed opportunity there. They could've made it even worse by swapping out "small" for "cruel" or something like that.
peakest! at first i would have said, "could u upload a version of this without the sfx and the running towards it-part?" ..but.. then it would be pretty much exactly the same wouldnt it be? x,D
i just noticed a small detail (or i'm just seeing things but), the hands that have been thinned/painted are the same as in Clock Tower part in the bad ending from the original 2010 Wii game, for example, both in this re-fight and the original bad ending the left hand (or right for Clock Tower?) has the pam and middle finger are painted while the rest are thinned not sure if this is a easter egg or a coincidence
I noticed that some of Rebrushed felt flat. Or changed parts I liked like the sketchbook showing difference faces of Mickey being okay. It’s less dark looking and more flat. I don’t like what they did with the clocktower sadly… can’t get behind it.
Me too, face too bright and thins out too quickly in the introduction, worse animations, missing noises and sounds, no dramatic zoom out when the arms appear unlike the OG, face gets painted too quick, etc.
I don’t know why but something is stopping me from liking this version of the ClockTower- Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but do the animations of the clock look so much more stiff?
i haven't played rebrushed yet, but from what i've seen it looks great! the only thins i don't really like about it though are the new sounds and chorus for the bossfight.

Well, that explains the "I did it again" part of the title.

I remember listening to your version of clocktower music for like, 4 years now!
I personally think Rebrushed's graphics/art style is a bit too bright, but I do like that the Clock Tower's face almost looks like it's made of flesh.
You can change the lighting for a more authentic look.
THATS WHAT I SAIDDD
@@CeHee123you can? how so?
@anotheridiot34 from what I've heard apparently there's a setting option that makes the lighting closer to the original.
