Idk about the one they are making but as they mentioned it was inspired by Georgian (yeah the country) khachapuri which is traditional food and this specific one is supposed to have only cheese and egg and not all the other things they are adding. So you can say that it's kinda similar by the looks but the taste is different. Also you should be able to dip the crast inside and eat it like that it's very fun experience

The only fault this series has is the fact that no one is actually able to finish challenge, not even the host.

Khachapuri is a Georgian dish. There are a lot of types of khachapuri. Traditionally, this type of khachapuri doesn't have bacon. It's a baked bread filled with cheese, and after it's baked you add some butter and an egg yolk

That watermelon thing threw me for a loop, too. But to be fair, there's no such thing as a vegetable, botanically speaking. A fruit is a specific part of fruit-bearing plants. Lots of things are fruits. Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers, and eggplant are all fruits, botanically speaking, because when you see those words, the part of the plant you're thinking about eating is the fruit part of that plant. Whereas a "vegetable" is loosely defined as "a plant that you eat, and the part that you eat isn't very sweet usually". MAJOR gray area. Nutritionally, there's not much of a reason to differentiate between a fruit and a vegetable. What, sugar content? Maybe. But even things popularly categorized as fruit vary in sugar content. So if "vegetable" is not a botanical term, and nutritionally it's highly ambiguous, what is the purpose of the word?
