Your Spanish accent is crazy good , when I heard you say “ tiene sentido” I was like, he sounds native. A lot of Americans learn Spanish and some have a high level but they always seem to have a very noticeable accent but you don’t , good job 👏🏼👏🏼
Well obviously most people don't actually learn the language they choose - Spanish, French, or Germán. But Swedish and English are mandatory in Sweden even before high school. That's why most Swedes are bilingual.
@ That makes sense. We have a lot of classes in the US for one of those languages as well, but we also never learn them. But, more to my original point, the only mandatory language in the US is English. As someone who has loved languages and has dreamed of being bilingual since a very young age, I really wish the US made learning a second language mandatory in school. Like you Swedes with Swedish and English! Anyway, loved the video, dude! I’m definitely implementing a lot of this in my Spanish learning!
It's the same in Germany. We start learning English in the 4.th grade and choose a second foreign language in the 7.grade, mostly French or Spanisch. Of course how schools teach languages is crap, but if you immerse yourself to the language (listening a looooot) and find situations to speak then you will improve your language skills tremendously. Your brain will do the heavy lifting when listening a lot. And then look up the things by yourself you want to dive deeper in.

Also, Sweden is one of the best countries when it comes to avoiding endocrine disruptors - the water doesn't have any, the milk doesn't have any, most clothes are made of 100% cotton, etc
@HamidSad711 The timeframes you shared and time investment you suggested to become a fluent speaker is completely unrealistic for 95% of learners. These claims undermine your credibility and make it hard to take the rest of your advice seriously. Pity.
So your telling me it is unrealistic to get conversationally fluent in 120 hours of studying? Your right, it is unrealistic if you spend your time doing Duolingo and Anki - but if you spend it correctly, then of course it is possible. I studied those 120 hours over a 6 month time period because I had school, but people that Xiamoa and LanguageLords have done similar number of hours of studying in 20 days or 44 days. I know it is possible because I did it myself.
@HamidSad711 Please don't ask me. Look at the research and data. 'Conversationally fluent' from beginner takes many multiples of your 120 hour claim. Repeat it the same episode over and over again, until I could understand it at 1.5x speed without subtitles.
