Just realised in my stupidity I've cut the bit where I talk about the motor!!! Anyway for those that want to know its a MXUS clone but It's running at about 8kW presently.
andy kirby did you buy direct from the Chinese? I'm sketched out by them.....worried about sending 2k and getting nothing back. how was your experience
ivan the bleech ivan nothing racist about me or my comment! I have never done any deals with the Chinese but have heard some horror stories, a friend of mine lost over 300k on a chemical technical. he was sent a truck full of barrels containing nothing but rusty water! I was simply trying to find out information from Andy on how to deal with them. sorry if my earlier question seemed racist.... that was not my intention
bumper scuff Idk if you have your answer or not but I'll try to help with my experience anyway. I ordered a couple of things from different sites from China and had no problem so far. For little things like wallet, power bank DIY kit or think that are not electronics, they're 100% sure to arrive without any issue. Not the same thing with knives, I had an issue with an OTF knife and I suspect the customer to not properly did well my package... Anyway it was 10 bucks so I really don't care. For the electronic goods, you have to pay attention to the clones, they're many on the market. I don't know if you're familiar with 18650 cells, but don't buy your batteries from aliexpress or alibaba I dunno what. There is eu.nkon.nl or batterysupports.com for that. I never ordered from Alibaba because the site is not intuitive, but I'll soon for other things. On aliexpress you can contact the customer before any puchase, so please do it. You can negotiate the price, do some custom orders... Don't fear from the contact. They're not awake all the day and sometimes they don't know how to say no to you, or they don't know how to properly answer to all your questions... That's a fact and you've to deal with it. But always remember one thing. Be gentle with them, don't talk like a douchbag or whatever. All should be good for you then. I recieved my 1500W rear hub kit with a 10 speed modification, and I paid directly with Paypal at an e-mail adress that the wustomer send me. So don't have fear from the chineese, they also want their business to turn, so there is no reason why they had to scam you... Take care of yourself and have a nice day sir.
@James Alexandros they only have bigger motor versions. like 8kW or more. At least I only saw those. but search on alibaba for electric bike, and you'll see a lot of types (bicycle seat, motorcycle seat, motorcycle wheels, fat bike wheels. lot of options)
Andy do you mind me asking about the cost of this setup? Also love the drone footage of you riding it. that thing really packs a kick! What's the fastest you've had out of it and are they classed as a bicycle in terms of road driving?
+Ringway Manchester Hey chaps! Glad you liked the video :-) The fastest I've been is about 50mph, that was not flat out! At the moment I'm still being relatively careful, I really don't want anything flying off at these speeds especially as all the mechanicals are still bedding in! We've been tightening stuff up every day but I think it's nearly settled now so I can do a max speed test soon. I really think it needs better brakes above about 40mph. The cost is around £2K, I'm working close with the Chinese supplier and should be offering the frame and drivetrain very soon. Im thinking it would probably be cheaper to buy a brand new donor bike and rip all the bits off (shocks, handlebars, saddle, gears etc) then just acquire this frame and power system and put it all together... I'll probably do another video about all this! Oh yeah and it's still a bicycle as it has pedals, if you run pedal assisted max power of 250W then it's road legal.
+Hyperious I just bought them from China, seem to be readily available from there. Failing that I'm sure someone will pop up on here and offer to build you one.
How much range and speed you get when you set red switch on lowest level. What's your battery voltage and how many amps. And how many amps is controller.
Hi just wanted to know roughly how much it would cost for that bike with a 3000w 30ah with a decent specification? I've been thinking of ether paying for o e outright our ordering parts and building myself. Any advice would be helpful, thanks. Also thanks for making video on this bike other videos are not so great.
Hi Andy I really like this frame but I've been told it's not very strong to go with the vector one. What's your take on the frame ? I'd be using mainly for road but would like to hit some trails nothing to crazy.
I’ve just ordered the new cs20 model 8000w off Alibaba.com into Australia as I was going to build but was going to cost more than them doing it for me by around $2000 Australian dollars as shipping cost a fortune and this model has the best parts available at the moment petty much the only thing I can find better is a 200a controller over the 150a it comes with, would love to know what you think as I’m new to the electric bikes but I’ve had a electric skateboard for a couple of years now and it 3000w gtx evolve and it gets up and goes so I can’t wait for this to come
+Mark Christopher that will be coming soon but it's mainly: Enduro Ebike Frame Rock shox competition front forks Rock shox rear shock Avid BB brakes and discs MXUS Hub motor Infineon 18FET controller Cycle Analyst V3 18 inch motorcycle wheels and tyres 16Ah 74V Multistar LiPo (now upgraded to 84V (charged) 30Ah Samsung 18650 INR 30Q)
Hydraulics are somewhat better than mechanical brakes, *assuming the Mechanicals are kept adjusted for best efficiency.* The difference grows drastically when you don’t stay right on top of adjusting. Four-pots are the way to go when under power. Was really spoiled by the ones on the bike that was stolen. They help a lot when you must deal with bad hills and heavy loads, e.g. a trailer full of groceries going north on 102nd on the way home at 5:30 AM. The downhill there is good for thirty mph/50 Kmh. The chief difference with hydros is they don’t need constant fiddling to keep their efficiency. That, and if you panic-stop, you can lock up both wheels *immediately.*
How about cutting the positive lead on the battery and adding a inline fuse connected together with electrical blocks been doing some thinking about battery safety may feel safer with a fuse rather than nothing at all please do correct me if wrong
+Victor hi, the arms were supplied by my local bike shop, Lobbs Cycles in Halstead. The sprocket cam from Enduro Ebike China. I've since upgraded the crank set to a race face fat bike setup for durability.
Whats a bike build like this cost ? Ive just brought an e-rider model 15 special edition moped (ebike) and its left me thinking should i of just built my own. Today was the first time using it and it performed better than expected especially in the snow
+cangooify yes i bulk charge @10A and I balance charge every 10 or so cycles and keep an eye on the charge voltage at all times. I wouldn't really recommend this normally but I've been dealing with LiPos for a LONG time so I like to think I know what I'm doing :-)
+andy kirby i would never bulk charge lipos, i know you keep an eye on them but if theres anything happens during charge then its a problem, i got a 20s 32ah multistars pack on my bike that i balance charge all the time and during charge at 4v they getting unbalanced cant beleive what could happen without a balance charger
+cangooify they shouldn't go out of balance like that whilst charging, mine don't seem to...when I do a balance charge every now and then they stay very even throughout the whole charge process. When I matched the packs together in the beginning I did reject a few packs back to hobby King because they weren't behaving. It's important to put together packs of the same IR (or close) and capacity. Of course It's always good practice to balance charge.
+andy kirby yeah its strange mine getting unbalanced ,i cycled all the batteries when arrived individually, and all was fine except one that came puffed already hobbyking replaced straight away.anyway nice build i had this frame in white now im running a raptor check out my videos :)
+cangooify hmm it's difficult to say, best to keep balancing if you can do it easily each time. HK are very good at replacing bad batteries if you give them some good photos/videos Showing the issue. I think it's still early days for energy dense LiPo batteries like the Multistar packs, they will probably get better over time. I will say that the 18S in my Electric Quad bike are as perfect as you can get them, but they have always been balanced every time as I took the time to make a balancing harness using DB25 connectors. Cool ok yeah I'll check out your videos! I'm interested in your raptor :-)
A Google User hey, the wheel and tyres were actually supplied from Enduro Ebike in China, they told me they are 19 inch motorcycle rims but they have the correct hub to suit a standard bicycle axle. One thing I will say is this setup is tough, I had loads of issues with punctures and wheel buckling on my other bike with normal MTB wheels and tyres but That is a thing of the past with this setup.
Yes, you do. After 250 watts or 15 mph or 25 kph you do. This bike is probably 5000 watts (20 times more power). I live in UK a d built my own and don't have a licence. Police don't bother unless you are doing crazy stuff on the streets or going on the pavement
Is the ebrake sensor a make or break circuit? What width wheels are those, what spoke gauge, and what tires? I bought some excel 19" 1.85" myself and am getting ready to build some 36 spoke sets. Are you happy with your handle bar location? I am designing something similar myself, but I am not sold on the sensored brakes.
The ebrakes are a simple on/off switch but all those switches do is trigger my brake lights. I have a separate thumb lever on the left side of the handlebar that progressively controls regen (ie the harder you press it the more regen braking you get on the rear wheel) it works well. I have 19 inch rims with 2.75 mototyres and they are bullet proof on a bike of this weight, I’ve not touched them for a year.
+kumbackquatsta the battery was featured a few episodes back, the title of the video is "CRAZY EBIKE BATTERY" pedalling won't regent the battery because your legs put out a tiny amount of power compared to the motor and all of that is used to move the bike along. Braking from high speed will regen.
andy kirby thanks agen for relying i do really appreciate it, If you get the change can you email me @southwest.co.uk just so we could have a little chat because I don't want to spam the comments, the price enduro ebikes are giving me for a 72v 5000w is double the price you told.
Hey bro I did not realized you posted a link in this video of all your accessories. Great stuff bro was looking for the rear mud guard fender for sometime now. Much appreciated, Thanks once again 👍
Hey Andy great video! I'm about to buy this frame and do a build similar to you, I just have a few questions if you don't mind. Do you have any live chat or email? But one of my biggest questions is I'm five foot six inches, I typically would get a 17" frame, would this feel too big for me?
Hi Andy. Nice bike! Is it possible to do wheelies on this, like they do on the stealth electric bike? Is there enough power to lift the front wheel from the ground with only the throttle? Or maybe with a little help by a hard pedal? Or is the bike to heavy for this? Thanks and nice channel!
+eTransporter DK hey thanks👍, yes it can do wheelies easily, in fact it's actually fairly hard to keep the front wheel down if you are riding hard. There's a part in my latest bike video where the front wheel comes up (but not that far!)whilst applying throttle at about 20mph. It's currently peaking at about 8kW which is a lot more than a standard stealth bomber!😄
Yes getting one of these models. But going with hydraulic brakes, and different wheel sizes like the Vector. Have you been on any MTB trails to try it out?
+Mike Pain hi Mike, the tyres aren't great as their some Chinese brand, but they seem to hold the road ok. The front wheel came built from china ready built but I think they just laced a normal bike hub to a 19 inch Moto rim. You should be able to just order one at enduroebike.com
How tall are you? Sorry, odd question I know. But given your component choice id like to know your approximate stand over for a build I'm doing with this frame. Thanks!
andy kirby thanks for replying I have around 2500 to spend but I don't know where to buy it from...I was looking at this on ebay but I don't know if I can trust it this is the item number 112174222793 I so badly want one your looks amazing
hmm, try enduroebike.com you might be able to import a built one from there (china), battery you will likely have to source locally though because nobody will ship batteries this big anymore.
I've been looking for a review like this for ages! the stealth bikes are awesome but way out of my price range these enduro bikes are higher end for chinese can anyone point me to more info about these? or other chinese stealth bike clones what's the topspeed and was it advertised as 5000w? how were you able to deal with the chinese companies? did you have to pay VAT on the import? thanks a lot!
+xX_DYLM4N_Xx hi I just bought the frame and motor and some of the electronics from China, I didn't buy the complete bike, I assembled it in the UK like most are doing. If you order a complete bike from China it will me a nightmare to ship, take ages and you'll pay a tonne of VAT. Read a lot of the comments on my videos you'll see many who are making a similar bike.
xX_DYLM4N_Xx I just did the same as Andy I bought the frame, electronics, and front rim from China. Everything else I purchased from a US supplier. I also replaced the BB the frame came with with a raceface BB the original looked OK but kind of heavy.
I haven't ridden it in the snow/ice yet. In the rain I've just been riding carefully as I came off one of my other bikes which only had 1.5kW, the back slid out on a wet road... So I kinda learned my lesson there! I should say it's "shower proof" I wouldn't want to be getting it wet too often!
Andy i don't like the thread sticking out of your light mount and you might catch your balls on the key in a big stack. you may not crash as much as me though
+Matthew Heffernan Hi Matthew! Yeah I've changed the light now, I'm not sure what was going on with that Mount! Yeah I try not to crash as this thing weighs a lot more than an average bicycle!
Craig Max Around 3000 bucks for something similar. You've to do your proper research on that because it's DIY stuff, so it depends on what you want to put on your bike. Have a nice day sir.
andy kirby this is the bike here Check out this product on Alibaba App Electric bike 2017 72V 8000W stealth bomber electric bike f2rq3.app.goo.gl?link=m.alibaba.com/product/60685008556/Electric-bike-2017-72V-8000W-stealth.html&apn=com.alibaba.intl.android.apps.poseidon&ibi=com.alibaba.sourcing&isi=503451073&amv=69 I'm not too sure about getting one as there's not enough feed back about the bike, is this basically the bike you have ? And if so is it well built and made to last ?
hey man am looking for a very fast ebike..yours look pretty fast mate wats the size of your motor and battery and where can i get big motors to increase the speed of my ebike
Hey, thanks, the motor is a MXUS clone, you'll find loads of info if you have a look on endless-sphere forums. Most of these motors come from China. Battery is custom made by Insat International in the UK and is 74V 30AH.
Amazing, I love how many more people have EEB builds :) I built mine last year when the frame came out before any vendors even offered parts for it, so the whole thing had to be completely DIY. I personally decided on lifepo4 prismatic cells are 8c rated and 30ah, 24s for 87v and I had to shoehorn that huge battery into the EEB frame lol...weighs over 40lbs ;p I only have a 5a smart charger, but only charge to 3.4v/cell approx, around 82v'ish as my lifepo4 batt stays at about 80v most of its charge cycle. Do you mind if I ask which controller you went with? I have 2 both 18fet models, one a lyen edition Infineon and the other a newer sine wave model. Also what is the turn count on your mxus clone? is it wound for Torque or speed?
+ABritInNY sorry I must have missed this comment! I would love to have 30Ah in my build but I just went with LiPo's as it was easier in the long run. How many miles do you get at say 30mph, I'm using the Lyen 18FET which does the job although I'd like a sine wave controller, but I actually quite like the sound the square waves make as it turns people's heads! I'm not sure what the turn count is on the motor, I'm guessing low because it's fast (50mph) and currently it peaks at 8kW.
+andy kirby Well my efficiency seems to be about my controller and not the motor. For the last year I've used the Lyen and got about 35wh/mile on average and more than 2 miles per Ah. I noticed from your figures that yours is a lot lower, but I run mine (4t leafmotor) at 5.6kw max. The max mileage is really theoretical, because I've not really depleted the pack past 50% more than the once, to try and 'baby' my expensive batt lol, but at 2ah/mile (faster than 30mph tho...) it's 60 miles (plus a couple,) more on lower power and PAS. Now however I'm running an 18fet sine wave, and it seems to be more efficient on mileage, @28wh/mile, so a Lil more I guess. It's also near silent. I actually used to think the Lyen was very quiet too, I too said I liked the Lil Sq wave 'bark' but silence is great ;) you only hear your tyre on the road and the wind. Plus it has a GPS/Alarm, remote start/ immobilizer as well as a normal DC -DC converter installed, something my Lyen didn't allow for and I felt I needed for extra safety and peace of mind.
+andy kirby my new 18fet sine wave ESC is not a branded unit like a Kelly or Sabvoton. It's actually a modded Infineon type, very similar looking to the 18fet lyen I have, but is sine wave not square wave. I bought it off an Endless Sphere post that advertised it for sale. Sellers name is Powervelocity, and has Powervelocity.com ebike site that also sells it. Best is to contact through ES if you want one. He installs all the fancy mods like GPS and alarm/immobilizer etc, you just have to pick what you want done.
nice build buddy! Im building one myself.I have the same frame but Im going to try and make it a mid drive by using a cyclone 3000 watt (motor mounted on the frame instead).Ill be using lipo batteries as well. Thanks for all the tech tips

Hi Andy, the thumbnail shot of this euro style frame bike is just CHERRY 🍒, they usually look a little off without the motorcycle style seat but this one still looks wicked, with the longer seat it would look pure moonbike jumpbike aka the dogs bollocks 😂🙏🇬🇧
I appreciate that you answered. Since you're that nice, how about telling your thoughts on the GPS tracker. How often do you have to charge it? Are you happy with your purchase? How much did you pay for it? I plan to hide one in my frame to secure my bike and thin out thieves in my region. I can get a SIM with just 2 euros monthly fee.
+dvdrwsor haha thanks! The GPS tracker is brilliant, really worth the money (about £30 if I remember rightly), if you get the reach far one you can use the app with it which makes things so easy, all you have to do is enter the number on the back of the device into the app and your done (make sure you Change the password though!) I reckon that would deter the thieves if you put a sticker on the bike somewhere.
Douglas Larsen I would love to know more about your bike and build. Parts and sourcing. How many miles do you get in a charge? I’m looking to build a bike for my commute and I’ve never built one before. Any tips suggest or forums or videos you followed? Again zero background or experience building g
I have a Addmotor F35 I want to make it faster I'm thinking about getting a hub motor for it but I'm not sure what I should buy and if I can just get a 1500 watt motor will it work with my bike or do I have upgraded the controller or what? Can you please help me I would appreciate it bro
First let me say I am wanting to build my first e bike in the next couple months I am in the planning stages right now hoping you can help me out a little I found this style frame on eBay and am planning on building my own battery with the vruzen solder less kit I am planning to use new Panasonic cells 72v 20ah I am wanting 50-60 mph out of the bike I found a hub kit on Amazon around $600.00ish that claims to be 72v 3000w with a 100a sinewave controller it's available with motorcycle and bicycle rear wheel in various sizes would like to do the 19" rear motorcycle rear wondering what size tire I would need to accomplish your look and my speed requirements also would like to do a slightly taller skinnier front if possible but not necessary what's more important to me is strength would like to know where you found your front wheel and how did you get it to fit the bicycle front triple tree suspension I am planning to do a zoom (cheaper front suspension) triple tree and would like to do what you have done if possible any info and pointers would be very appreciative thank you in advance sorry for the book and the Grammer..
one more question with the info I have and my choices so far do you think I am on the right track I am planning to spend $2000.00-$3000.00 on this bike is there any pointers you can give or anything you would do different if you were me other than what I am planning? and is there anything you think I am planning that isn't compatible
Nice ride, mate ! Thanks for the walk around. Just as a side note: I would switch from mechanical to hydraulik disc brakes ASAP. For such a beast mechanical brakes are more than underpowered. There are other solutions to detect the brake movement for the controller. Usually they consist of a reed contact and a strong permadyn magnet. The website below is in German but I guess you can figure out what I mean: www.i-e-e.info/universal-bremssensor-beruehrungslos-f-elektromobile-pedelec-e-bike-trike-velomobil/ Also ride safe since I guess the "legal" status of that thing on public road is somewhat similar to Germany (To quote: "Off-road use only"). :-)
+Holger Beetz hey Holger, thanks for the comment! I agree about the brakes, I'm going to add Hope Hydraulics soon, actually though it's surprising how powerful these particular cable brakes are, I was surprised, it's possible to lock the front wheel if you squeeze too hard. I'll check out those brake switches.. sound good. This week my new sine wave controller turned up so hopefully I'll be able to get that installed in the next day or so! Stay tuned!
hey Andy, I am currious if your new sine wave controller will make the Motor sound less noisy. People claim that sine wave controller are much more "silent" than the usual "square" controllers. Personally I didn't hear a big difference between my normal controller and the sine wave controller of a friend of mine. This was of course only with rather weak hub motors (36V / 14Amps). May be things change a lot if you use sine wave with high power motors. What specs does your new controller have ? BTW: In regard to the brake sensors, you can do things really cheap if you don't mind soldering. Usually those mechanical Wuxing brake levers close the contact when braking. So you simply need a reed contact (or is it sensor in English) that stays open if the magnet is close. It might be a problem to find such a reed contact since most contacts stay closed with the magnet close, since they are used for alarm devices. If I remember correctly the technical term for such contacts is NO (= normally open) versus NC (= normally closed) which is more common. If the new sine wave controller accepts the connectors from your Wuxing levers, I would simply cut the cable and solder some reed contacts to them. Some heat shrinking tube will not hurt as well. Adjusting those contacts together with the magnets on your brake levers is a bit hit and miss. In the first place I would use hot glue or double-sided tape to mount them. Afterwards you can use epoxy or super glue to put them in place after you found the right position. HTH, Holger
+Holger Beetz hey, yes that's what I have heard with the sine wave vs square wave they are more quiet, less vibration on start up and interestingly more efficient, I've had reports from other users saying their efficiency has improved a lot from upgraded to a sinewave controller. Mine is a modified Sabvoton controller which is rated at 90V and 150A which should be more than enough for now! I say modified but basically the manufacturer has just added a cycle analyst connector for me. Ok about the brake levers (and I know the switch you mean, we call them reed "switches" here!) Currently I don't use regen braking on my current controller as I didn't get on with it, my current brakes have the switches but I don't like them either because if you brake for a while in a corner and you inadvertently have the throttle open a bit when you release the brakes the motor starts suddenly... I see it as a safety issue personally. I may just route a manual switch to the handlebars and connect it to the brake switch so I can inhibit the motor in certain situations (when the bike is on but I'm not on it, at traffic junctions etc)
I see....using a Motor primary with Throttle causes other problems than riding a "Pedelec" with PAS Sensor. Here the turning of the cranks controls the motor engangement. I removed Brake switches several month ago. For my commuting Pedelec I did what you are saying: A switch at the left side of the handlebar controls the motor via brake contact. In this way I can disable the motor when stopping at a traffic light or ride my bike where many pedestrians are.
+David Hammond thanks, the brakes can be upgraded easily enough. To be honest it's only the frame and electronics that's Chinese, quality is great though.
+David Hammond cool, I hear they are great, Artur has done a great job. Does it run the Adaptto E-Max controller? How do you find that? Did you buy the complete bike or build it up like mine?
+andy kirby yes max addapto with 2.1kw battery, if I keep it on normal mode and I peddle I can get over 120 mile range, I went to Munich for the weekend and my test ride was at the olimpic park, I brought it for my 40th, I've done 1100 miles and vector as done a good job at building it, I spent €6k and it puts a smile on my face every single time I ride lol, the brakes are brilliant with double disc upfront and a huge rear disc, I can out accelerate most cars from the lights and it climbs hills with ease as I've raced motocross all my life 🤑
+David Hammond AWESOME! This it what it's all about, I agree these bikes put a smile on your face though, it's more fun than anything I've owned before, and yeah the acceleration is brutal., very funny when you can just fly past cars under 50mph. I'm thinking of getting the adaptto but the next batch aren't available until September. Do you have any videos of your bike? Sounds awesome :-) also how fast have you actually had it? Mine clears 50mph but that's it at the moment!
Just realised in my stupidity I've cut the bit where I talk about the motor!!! Anyway for those that want to know its a MXUS clone but It's running at about 8kW presently.
Does the motor get hot?
andy kirby did you buy direct from the Chinese?
I'm sketched out by them.....worried about sending 2k and getting nothing back.
how was your experience
ivan the bleech ivan why?
ivan the bleech ivan nothing racist about me or my comment!
Hi! Can you please do a tutorial of "How To Build" this bike? I am really interested in building one, thank you!
You can buy it online, it's prebuit
Error inscript from him directly? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy and build ourselves?
@@Ryanpeech You can buy this on alibaba. They send it in parts, so you have to assemble it.
@James Alexandros they only have bigger motor versions. like 8kW or more. At least I only saw those. but search on alibaba for electric bike, and you'll see a lot of types (bicycle seat, motorcycle seat, motorcycle wheels, fat bike wheels. lot of options)
@James Alexandros i have asked them it cost about 1000$ with shipping around 550..
Hello, it's been 4 years now, what is your feelings about this bike?
Hope yu upgraded that cable disc set up
Andy do you mind me asking about the cost of this setup? Also love the drone footage of you riding it. that thing really packs a kick! What's the fastest you've had out of it and are they classed as a bicycle in terms of road driving?
These are the questions I was going to ask lol. Great video Andy
+Ringway Manchester Hey chaps! Glad you liked the video :-)
The fastest I've been is about 50mph, that was not flat out!
@@andykirby where’s the video man
Mate, you are my absolute hero. Nothing but respect.
Very kind, thanks for the comment!
where'd you get a 40mm through axel motorcycle wheel? I'd love to replace my 26" wheels with 21" Motocross wheels.
+Hyperious I just bought them from China, seem to be readily available from there. Failing that I'm sure someone will pop up on here and offer to build you one.
Where did you buy the frame?
Hi there enjoyed watching your video where can I buy that type of e bike frame👍🇬🇧
Here: www.cloudsto.com/ebikes
Hi great video..the wheel size what is best ..plz could you let me know thanks im 6.2 tall n weight 308lbs ...thanks
Any chance of getting a break down of the parts and where you got them ?.
hi andy, why did you choose 19" wheels out of all the other sizes available, thanks
Hey buddy, what size fork is that?
I’ve just ordered the new cs20 model 8000w off Alibaba.com into Australia as I was going to build but was going to cost more than them doing it for me by around $2000 Australian dollars as shipping cost a fortune and this model has the best parts available at the moment petty much the only thing I can find better is a 200a controller over the 150a it comes with, would love to know what you think as I’m new to the electric bikes but I’ve had a electric skateboard for a couple of years now and it 3000w gtx evolve and it gets up and goes so I can’t wait for this to come
do you have a build list of parts
+Mark Christopher that will be coming soon but it's mainly:
Enduro Ebike Frame
Rock shox competition front forks
Rock shox rear shock
Avid BB brakes and discs
MXUS Hub motor
Infineon 18FET controller
Cycle Analyst V3
18 inch motorcycle wheels and tyres
16Ah 74V Multistar LiPo (now upgraded to 84V (charged) 30Ah Samsung 18650 INR 30Q)
Thanks I'll keep an eye out
we can offer list of parts options , facebook : passionebikecom
Whats the name of the motorcycle rims and tires?
Is it ip65 rating ? Waterproof ?
How about cutting the positive lead on the battery and adding a inline fuse connected together with electrical blocks been doing some thinking about battery safety may feel safer with a fuse rather than nothing at all please do correct me if wrong
+Daniel Nurden hi daniel, im actually now using circuit breakers. C63 Type, they work great at 84V and wont trip until about 150A for 10-15 seconds.
What’s the range on the bike
hey if you don't mind me asking where did you get the crank arms and sprocket THANKS victor. also great job on your bike
ITs been a few years and these puppies have come down in price, can you give us a run down how its been holding up the past 4 years?
why don't the controllers have auto cut out when the battery is at 10% to prevent damage to the battery
do you just bulk charge? no balance charging?
Can you share the details on the wheel and tire. About to start on my build and was really looking for that tire setup. Thanks.
Do you have to have a license to ride this on uk roads?
I have 19 inch rims with 2.75 mototyres and they are bullet proof on a bike of this weight, I’ve not touched them for a year.
please do video on the battery. can you pedal and regen the battery?
+kumbackquatsta the battery was featured a few episodes back, the title of the video is "CRAZY EBIKE BATTERY" pedalling won't regent the battery because your legs put out a tiny amount of power compared to the motor and all of that is used to move the bike along. Braking from high speed will regen.
andy kirby mmm
hi Andy one qick question what watt is the motor on your bike and what vols and ah is the battery?
+Billy Price Hi Billy it can handle 5000W continuous and 12KW bursts. Battery is 74V 30Ah.
andy kirby thanks agen for relying i do really appreciate it, If you get the change can you email me @southwest.co.uk just so we could have a little chat because I don't want to spam the comments, the price enduro ebikes are giving me for a 72v 5000w is double the price you told.
To clarify, this is one of the 'Full suspension frame kits' that EMB sells or is it your own creation just built up from the tank? Thanks!
hi, yes its essentially the EEB frame kit with other bits added to complete the bike.
How much does it cost Andy? enjoying your videos :)
Hey there , wanted to know if you ever hade a chance to ride and hpc revolution or an Nyx bike. Both are bikes
+Ramon Vasquez Hi, no I haven't, but I've heard the NYX is good.
Hey bro I did not realized you posted a link in this video of all your accessories. Great stuff bro was looking for the rear mud guard fender for sometime now. Much appreciated, Thanks once again 👍
Haha! Yeah there’s so much covered on this channel just look through all the old ones and a lot of your questions will be answered😁
@@andykirby Yeah bro thanks, your stuff is the best,I wish you all the success in the world 👍
Hey! Just wondering do you have to pedal the bike or can you just twist and go . If so , what’s the quickest you’ve had like that?
Yeah its twist and go (off road) tops out about 55mph
andy kirby cool! Also what sort of range do you get like that?
55mph on such a light bike is pretty sketchy but 40mph is fine, I get about 20 miles at 40mph and 40 miles at 30mph battery is pretty big (84V 30Ah)
You can buy hydraulic disc brakes with cut-off switches for ebikes on e-bay.
Why do you even need cut-off switches? Motorbikes don't have them.
You didnt tell us how much km does it take to drain full charge battery....???
Not sure in km but miles it’s about 30
please, could u provide the link for motocross seat?
Hi again. Thanks for the response, just saw it in the video. A lot of power :-) Can't wait to try this out!
+eTransporter DK cool! Are you getting one? Or a Vector?
Yes getting one of these models. But going with hydraulic brakes, and different wheel sizes like the Vector. Have you been on any MTB trails to try it out?
What size is the rear wheel?
Cool e-bike, what brand is it? where can I buy one of these?
Here: www.cloudsto.com/ebikes
It bike better than "denzel"?
Hey Andy how did you fit the 19 inch moto rim and wheel on the front fork? I wanted to do the same tire setup..what brand and size of tire and rim?
+Mike Pain hi Mike, the tyres aren't great as their some Chinese brand, but they seem to hold the road ok. The front wheel came built from china ready built but I think they just laced a normal bike hub to a 19 inch Moto rim. You should be able to just order one at enduroebike.com
what size (watts) motor dose it have
Lovely looking bike . Are there bike shops selling these in the uk ?
+markcorndog thanks! no unfortunately not, I had to build this up from parts direct from China, it was worth it though!
How tall are you? Sorry, odd question I know. But given your component choice id like to know your approximate stand over for a build I'm doing with this frame. Thanks!
+Shane K I'm 6'3 it's suits me fine, I actually ride it a bit lower as I prefer it to be more like a motocycle than a bicycle.
Head angle looks very steep.
Frame design is ideal though for batteries etc
hello where exactly did you buy this bike from and how much please
+Billy Price hi, I bought most of the parts from China and then assembled it myself. Price difficult to say exactly but over $2k
andy kirby thanks for replying I have around 2500 to spend but I don't know where to buy it from...I was looking at this on ebay but I don't know if I can trust it this is the item number 112174222793 I so badly want one your looks amazing
hmm, try enduroebike.com you might be able to import a built one from there (china), battery you will likely have to source locally though because nobody will ship batteries this big anymore.
$2k is a great deal compared to $3150 that is for a fully assembled bike
how hard was it to make?
andy kirby , I've tried e mailing them many times about ordering information but have not had a reply? how do you go about placing an order with them?
I've been looking for a review like this for ages!
the stealth bikes are awesome but way out of my price range
these enduro bikes are higher end for chinese
can anyone point me to more info about these? or other chinese stealth bike clones
what's the topspeed and was it advertised as 5000w?
how were you able to deal with the chinese companies?
did you have to pay VAT on the import?
thanks a lot!
Whats the name of the front rim and tire? Ive been looking for ages
Where did you buy the parts from? How does it handle snow/rain? Looks great, congratulations ;)
+Ísleifur Muggur Hi Ísleifur, thanks! I bought the parts direct from Enduro Ebike in China.
Yeah I figured the power would be allot to deal with, the parts are waterproof or water resistant at least, right?
So this is 3KW? Is there a big difference between the 5KW and the 3KW?
+Ísleifur Muggur yeah the frame is pretty water tight (water resistant) the motor seems to be alright with the odd shower, time will tell I guess!
How much do these E Ebikes cost. Available assy.
Craig Max Around 3000 bucks for something similar. You've to do your proper research on that because it's DIY stuff, so it depends on what you want to put on your bike.
Have a nice day sir.
Leili a china company make this exact same bike, i found them on alibaba, would you recommend people buying from them ?
Yes, or you can buy from our store www.cloudsto.com
andy kirby this is the bike here Check out this product on Alibaba App Electric bike 2017 72V 8000W stealth bomber electric bike

I'm not too sure about getting one as there's not enough feed back about the bike, is this basically the bike you have ? And if so is it well built and made to last ?
B caareful with the xlr charger, sometimes the connector can pop out when unplugging it. That happened on my old electric scooter
+stephen deben good advice thanks!
Where did you get the frame from?
Can you link me to the exact site?
+The Programming Dick we will be selling them soon direct from one of our warehouses in china. Keep an eye on www.cloudsto.com for more details!
andy kirby what do I want with mini pcs...
this is the store that we will eventually sell the bike stuff on
hey man am looking for a very fast ebike..yours look pretty fast mate wats the size of your motor and battery and where can i get big motors to increase the speed of my ebike
+ABritInNY which controller do you have?
+andy kirby my new 18fet sine wave ESC is not a branded unit like a Kelly or Sabvoton. It's actually a modded Infineon type, very similar looking to the 18fet lyen I have, but is sine wave not square wave. I bought it off an Endless Sphere post that advertised it for sale. Sellers name is Powervelocity, and has Powervelocity.com ebike site that also sells it. Best is to contact through ES if you want one. He installs all the fancy mods like GPS and alarm/immobilizer etc, you just have to pick what you want done.
+ABritInNY thanks for that i will have to have a look into that controller, you are happy with it right?
Yeah I want to know how much it cost I want to build one too way too expensive to buy a build one
i want to see that back shock work looks like the battery pack made it ridged
+bucketrobbert oh it works just fine on the trails!
Please where did you get your wheels from ?
We can supply them, send me an email (address in description) if you are interested.
I have find some thanks
What is the width of your please ? 19'' X 1,6'' ?
Why did you pick 19" rims vs larger rims?
+Mr Mr strength mainly and they allow you to run motorcycle tyres. I got tired of punctures and tube blowouts when running bike tyres.
Do you repair enduro bikes mate could you inbox me when you ger time
How much for the bike?

hybryds any update? What did you end up doing?
Nice 90 degree head angle
The rear suspension is basically useless since the bottom bracket and cranks are on the swingarm, which moves, instead of the frame.
So, how about that charger...
+dvdrwsor hey, ah yes I talk about the charger in my ebike Max range video! Check it out...
The GPS tracker is brilliant, really worth the money (about £30 if I remember rightly), if you get the reach far one you can use the app with it which makes things so easy, all you have to do is enter the number on the back of the device into the app and your done (make sure you Change the password though!)
I reckon that would deter the thieves if you put a sticker on the bike somewhere.
Great Bike Andy, you inspired myself to build a similar E.E.B Frame build but in a Mid Drive layout (BBSHD) 😊👍🏼
Can i ask about your BBSHD, im thinking 1500w 52v or 60 or 72 and 17a on MN framed3.0 fat.
Thanks.
Douglas Larsen I would love to know more about your bike and build. Parts and sourcing. How many miles do you get in a charge? I’m looking to build a bike for my commute and I’ve never built one before. Any tips suggest or forums or videos you followed? Again zero background or experience building g
OZ E-Bikes 4 Life same questions for you
Hey Andy mount the camera on the bike and go for a ride
+Rob Barnett Hi Rob, yeah that's the plan, I need to find a good mount as I tried the other day and the footage wasn't great! Stay tuned!
I love that bike man it's so nice I'll have to save up to get one cuz my Addmotor F35 is just not fast enough for me bro. Anyway good stuff 👍👍😁
I have a Addmotor F35 I want to make it faster I'm thinking about getting a hub motor for it but I'm not sure what I should buy and if I can just get a 1500 watt motor will it work with my bike or do I have upgraded the controller or what? Can you please help me I would appreciate it bro
My dream bike
Awesome video awesome bike
Is it electronic?
No it's not
First let me say I am wanting to build my first e bike in the next couple months I am in the planning stages right now hoping you can help me out a little I found this style frame on eBay and am planning on building my own battery with the vruzen solder less kit I am planning to use new Panasonic cells 72v 20ah I am wanting 50-60 mph out of the bike I found a hub kit on Amazon around $600.00ish that claims to be 72v 3000w with a 100a sinewave controller it's available with motorcycle and bicycle rear wheel in various sizes would like to do the 19" rear motorcycle rear wondering what size tire I would need to accomplish your look and my speed requirements also would like to do a slightly taller skinnier front if possible but not necessary what's more important to me is strength would like to know where you found your front wheel and how did you get it to fit the bicycle front triple tree suspension I am planning to do a zoom (cheaper front suspension) triple tree and would like to do what you have done if possible any info and pointers would be very appreciative thank you in advance sorry for the book and the Grammer..
meant to say first awesome bike then I am wanting to build my first ebike
one more question with the info I have and my choices so far do you think I am on the right track I am planning to spend $2000.00-$3000.00 on this bike is there any pointers you can give or anything you would do different if you were me other than what I am planning? and is there anything you think I am planning that isn't compatible
hey thank you
your welcome :-)
Check out neematic ebike its my next toy Andy :)
+David Hammond nice! Mid drive with 20kW that's going to be insane.
oh my god that's awsome!
Wick-ed. I want one!
Cable disc brakes wont even slow a normal bicycle.
These do, the avid cable brakes are pretty effective actually. Now I use hope 4 pots but the Avids are still good.
my heart hurt when he was touching the disk brake on the brake band
Nice ride, mate !
Thanks for the walk around. Just as a side note: I would switch from mechanical to hydraulik disc brakes ASAP. For such a beast mechanical brakes are more than underpowered. There are other solutions to detect the brake movement for the controller. Usually they consist of a reed contact and a strong permadyn magnet. The website below is in German but I guess you can figure out what I mean:
www.i-e-e.info/universal-bremssensor-beruehrungslos-f-elektromobile-pedelec-e-bike-trike-velomobil/
Also ride safe since I guess the "legal" status of that thing on public road is somewhat similar to Germany (To quote: "Off-road use only").

Holger
+Holger Beetz hey, yes that's what I have heard with the sine wave vs square wave they are more quiet, less vibration on start up and interestingly more efficient, I've had reports from other users saying their efficiency has improved a lot from upgraded to a sinewave controller.
Mine is a modified Sabvoton controller which is rated at 90V and 150A which should be more than enough for now!
I say modified but basically the manufacturer has just added a cycle analyst connector for me.
Ok about the brake levers (and I know the switch you mean, we call them reed "switches" here!)
Currently I don't use regen braking on my current controller as I didn't get on with it, my current brakes have the switches but I don't like them either because if you brake for a while in a corner and you inadvertently have the throttle open a bit when you release the brakes the motor starts suddenly...
Those are BB7 brakes. Better than most mid range hidraulic brakes
+Bogdan Musat your right BB7s are underrated.
crist sake that is faster than mine 1000w e=bike
+sean barrasin haha yeah when you start getting into the multiple kW power ranges it gets really interesting!
all it needs is some foot pegs
Ill stick to my stealth bomber,
probably arm and a leg us dollars
Hi 👋 Super👈😎
8kw peak power with cable brakes !!! I'm a firm believer in you only get what you pay for but good video but you can keep the cheap Chinese bikes
+David Hammond thanks, the brakes can be upgraded easily enough. To be honest it's only the frame and electronics that's Chinese, quality is great though.
+andy kirby thanks Andy I have a 14kw vector Ebike, I did look into getting a Chinese Ebike but decided to pay extra for mine
