I'll tell you how I found this video: someone in a guitar group on Facebook said that to learn bass guitar just learn how Donald Duck Dunn did it, I only ever heard of him before from the Blues Brothers film so I looked him up on RUclips. Your video came up, and it's perfect - nice work man 🙌
Thank you for this video my wife and I just got through watching The Blues Brothers movie again last night and I noticed for the first time that Donald Duck Dunn bass lines look up maybe half of the movie and just wow such incredible bass playing it kept driving the movie Forward Google Donald Duck Dunn to find out more about him and this is the first thing that came up
Thanks for breaking it down. Wish the bass was a bit louder, especially against the drum machine and the narrative. A little hard to hear but then again, I’m an old guy.
Sounds cool. Hey just for kicks can you do a lesson where you only speak cockney? I m already wondering what the Cockney word for Bass and " soul" and " groove" is
Thanks so much for this great Bass lesson! I just subbed to your Channel. Duck Dunn is on of my all-time favorites (& I love 'Born Under A bad Sign')... Very cool lesson & I'll be back soon!
I realize this is Dan Akroyd’s birthday I am trying to celebrate, but, Duck played an integral part in the music of the Blues Brothers.
