- Here is how you can invest in stocks as a teenager! If you are under 18 you can invest in stocks! These are the two ways that you can invest in stocks. This is how you can start your career with the stock market as a teenager. These are two legal ways that you can start investing in the stock market as a teenager. If you want to know how to invest in the stock market I have a lot of videos for you. You can make a lot of money in the stock market even as a teenager. If you are under 18 there are ways that you can invest.
I believe that the best way for you to get started investing if you are a teenager or under 18 is to start a custodial brokerage account. A custodial brokerage account is an investment account that you open with an adult that allows you to invest in stocks. The brokerage account and the assets that are inside are yours. The second way that I mention is by opening a custodial IRA. This is an investment account for people under 18 that also allows you to invest in stocks.

What are the rules on withdrawing money from the account? From what I understand the funds can only be spent for the benefit of the child but that is a very broad term so I am a bit confused.
Great stuff. I watch several youtube videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any headstart because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands.
Where do I make the custodial brokerage account, is there an app? Also how do I put money in and take money out? I’m only 13 but want to start investing.

I have a question regarding the first way. How do taxes come into play with this way. Is there no taxes since i’m a minor or do my parents have to pay taxes for my earnings? please get back to me, thanks

I have a very important question... dose the government see this as me working or my parents working??? Because my dad is getting money from the government cuz he's not working and I don't want to mess up anything. Especially with the government.
