@@davidosullivan6351 I try to improve with every video I put out. I’m pretty happy with how they are atm and I have loads planned for the coming months. The winter species will soon be upon us.
Good to see you out and about again Mark, looks like you have got the hang of the new cameras. Please keep the vids coming,l learn something from each one. Thanks for taking us with you on your trips. Stay safe.
You are very welcome and if anything I film helps, well it was worth taking the cameras. I’m a lot more comfortable with the new set up I’m using to film and I’m getting the shots that in my mind are what I’d like to show. Loads planned including “workshop ramblings” and a trip to Norway along with a lot of winter shore fishing and the occasional boat trip when weather permits.
Cheers buddy, plenty planned after my short hiccup with my filming kit. There are shore, boat, workshop and rig videos planned. A week of specials in November and a surprise for Christmas. 😉🎣👍🏻
Cheers buddy. They seem to be “here” along the south coast in numbers atm. Their size and prevalence suggests mating but I’d have to look into that to confirm.
Cracking thorny mate shame about the start but everybody knows you loves a ray and what session wouldnt be complete without doggy in the boat what a beautiful sunrise and flat water beautiful footage of the rays going back the new camera and mic works well love the drone footage mate tight lines
I always enjoy your videos. Can I ask a silly question. When you caught the second Thornback, why did you throw the bait over the side. I'm not tight by any means, but the amount of really good fish my mate and I have had on used bait is quite amazing. The bait usually just needs re-hooking. It's grazy how quick the next bite comes.
Mackerel tends to rinse out pretty quick but you do see me reusing bait in some videos where the fish are full on and competitive. On this day it was very hard going and so I needed every advantage. The oil/smell from a fresh bait would help to bring fish into the area. In short when it is busy and fish are feeding I will reuse a bait if possible. When things are slow or the bait is washed out I will refresh.
My mate is on 4 fish on the same bait. I'm on 3. I agree mackerel does wash out quickly but still catches. Fresh mackerel not quite so quick. All the fish we've had on the same bait doggies haven't featured very often. Strange.
my jet boil turns orange on the side when its boiling, has yours not got this facility? keep the vids coming always great content & interesting easy to follow rig tutorials
Cheers buddy, I appreciate your support. I need to get my chum dialled in and correct to have a proper go at these bigger toothy critters. I think everything else is ready to go. 🦈
your content is easily up with the fish locker, you are such an underrated youtuber, love watching
Glad you enjoy it 👍🏻
Makes the effort worthwhile.
100% , editing is top class. Proper production
@@davidosullivan6351 really appreciate your kind words but the kit makes it easier. The trick is finding the right kit.

Gr8 content as always m8, very entertaining nd some cracking rays
Cheers Terry, I would have liked a big toothy critter at Dawn but it didn’t happen on this occasion. 🦈
Always a great watch bud!
Thank you, I’m loving my new camera and mic’s.
so nice to watch
Glad you enjoyed it. 🎣👍🏻
Love the rays, looking forward to your rig videos too
Rays are my favourite and amazing things to see up close. Their eyes are truly special if you look closely.
What a gorgeous day for it mark
It was stunning. Out before sun up to be drifting before sun rise. Absolutely magical.
Brilliant stuff Mate, looked like a cracking day. Well done.
I was certainly lucky with the weather but my preparation fell short for the early morning target 🦈.
Lesson learnt though and I will try again. 🎣👍🏻
@@seaangling I've had more than my fair share of difficult sessions this year, was good to see you catch the Thornies Mark.
@@anotherangleUK cheers 🎣🦈

Enjoyable video mate, loved the drone footage, very impressive. Keep em coming dude.
Cheers buddy, whole new setup with drone, camera and mics. Makes my life a lot easier and the practice is getting there for a “special” in November. 😉
Fab, can't wait!!
My favourite is mackerel fishing
My personal favourite is fishing for rays. Everything from spotted through to common.

Mine is from Alpkit and not a jetboil. It is very basic but I like that. I’ll be doing more workshop and rigs through the winter.
looking foreword to those @@seaangling
Mark what type and model is your boat. I leaned the hard way on my first thornback I had my thumb in its mouth silly me.
My boat is a Warrior 165 mk2 which is a 16.5’ boat fitted with a Suzuki DF70a lean burn.
Another great video, think this is my goto comment 😂.
Shame you didn't get your target but that's fishing.

Rays are bit boring
You can only catch what’s there 🤷♂️
Ok
