I like your video very much, my friend. It was very informative and lots of historical facts and knowledge.
But, the problem now i have with the anchor of the video is that he is too biased, and the video is not from a neutral point of view.
the anchor seems to be blaming Nepal for everything, that has led to tensions between the relation of these 2 countries. You have also portrayed Nepal as naive and gullible, which can be exploited by China.
As a Nepali, i know people of Nepal have no animosity or anything against China. China has never interferred in nepals internal matters and have respected Nepal as a sovereign nation.
while, on the other hand, India is the biggest bully in south Asia region. The fact that every indian made video claims, nepal as its small brother, says a lot. you can say that, it is the love you have for Nepal. But that is not the way you respect a sovereign nation.
Nepal will never progress or see any signs of development, as long as Nepal tries to make good relation with India.
India doesnt even allow Nepal to use one of its port, to import goods from other countries. what kind of big brother does that sort of thing, where you dont allow your brother to progress and be independent. india wants nepal to be dependent on them and completely sub- ordinate.

@hobgoblin1216 First of all, big LOL.
      - India considers Nepal as a friend ? That's a big joke. A friend wouldn't block access to essential materials. In 2015 India did exactly that and that wasnt the first time, in 1989 India blocked Nepali imports from entering Nepal through the Calcutta ports.
      - Nepal signed 1816 Sugauli Treaty with British Empire NOT with India so the land mass Nepal lost during the war with British is still legally belongs to Nepal. (If Modi government s still saying that they don't follow the treaty regarding the Kalapani issue)
      - REMITTANCE MONEY:
      According to Government of India:
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remittances_to_India?fbclid=IwAR3d_fP9yWwxpYOyeQXhaZz25KJ1aQH-SRwHOv7p-CAVUH4rzjMaCyeai0s
It shows that each year, Indian workers in Nepal send 3 times more money (3 billion US dollars) to their country India than Nepali workers in India to Nepal which is only 1 billion US dollars.

Dear Indian friends, the very long issue can be summarized this way (apologies for the length):
India in 1962: Hey Nepal! we are fighting a war with China and since your military presence in Kalapani and nearby bordering area is minimal, can we station around there for the period of war to monitor Chinese movement?
Nepal: Sure, we have the best of relations and if it helps in your defense, why not?
India: Thank you. we are establishing 18 military camps in Nepali land bordering China.
Nepal in 1969: Hey bro! the war is already finished but your camps are still around, could you withdraw your forces?
India: Okay! (removes 17 posts, but remains in Kalapani and controls Lipulekh area because it is strategically very significant to monitor China)
    Nepal: Kalapani?
India: (to then King) Don't forget you are economically too dependent on us, also we can seize you from power by influencing the revolutionary forces. You remain quiet, you aren't using that area anyway.
Nepal after democracy in 90's: Hey bro! now we are a democracy and we now have access to historical evidences and facts, could you withdraw the army and settle the issue as the land is on the east side of river Kali?
India (Under Gujral and Bajpayee): Okay lets solve this and all other border issues with help from experts.
(Experts reach on agreement in 98% border area except Susta and Kalapani area, recommend it be settled on high political level, remains an outstanding issue)
India in 2015: Hey China, wanna trade from Lipulekh and make Mansarovar quickly accessible?
    China: Okay!
Nepal: But it's our territory and we have been claiming it all along? (sends diplomatic protest to New Delhi and Beijing). Hey bro (to India) let's solve the issue first among us before any agreement with third party.
India: Ok then, No official visit for your PM Koirala (first time a Nepali PM does not make an official visit to India) and a blockade!
India in Novemeber 2019: New Political map released (8th edition) with Kali river marked well inside it's territory when it should be a border.
Nepal: Yo bro! You say East of Kali is Nepal but it is well inside your territory on the map?
India: Oops! (9th edition is quickly released with river's name erased)
Nepal: Let's solve it with foreign secretary level talks, there is pressure from general public after the blockade. This way the relation is only getting worse.
India: We don't care, you are too dependent on us. ( Inaugurates the road during Covid-19 pandemic, despite the construction not being completed and with presence of high level Military and Defense personnels)
Nepal: Come on! at least sit down and talk before doing things unilaterally!
Indian Army chief: China has made Nepal speak.
Indian Media: Nepal ki ye aukat ki wo India ko aankh dikhaye, Inhe fir blockade karna chahiye!
Nepal: Ok then we'll issue our own map with disputed territory (Will benefit the increasingly unpopular Oli govt as well as address public outrage due to India's consistent big brotherly attitude)
Indian Media: China, China, China, China!

A reply to Bisbo and message to Indian friends:
Very nice presentation. I understand your position of taking a pro-Indian stance, but let me point out to some flaws in your presentation. I would be happy to be proven wrong with facts from the Indian side, but please refrain from throwing insults, it does no good to both of us:
      1) 2015 Blockade: You conveniently blamed the Madhesi parties of Nepal for blocking the border, leading to shortage. But the area they were protesting doesn't even cover 25% of the border. Why was supply stopped from all other border points where no protest was happening?
      2) Origin of Kali is Limpiyadhura and it has been proven by your own recent map, if not for many historical maps. Just look at the 2019 political map (8th edition) of your own country and see where river Kali is marked. The British cunningly manipulated the maps after the treaty once they realized that Lipulekh was very significant for trade and security reasons. So, present Indian establishment can not be held directly accountable, but Kalapani was openly encroached and forcibly taken control over after 1962 due to its strategic significance.
      3) Streams coming from the Lipu Ghat or Kalapani area are so small that it is an embarrassment to river Kali if you say they are the sources. Just check (even google maps will do) what looks like the head of the river? Besides, this can easily be solved if experts are employed.
      4) India has asked Nepal for permission to establish 18 check posts in Nepal-China border including Kalapani during Indo-China war 1962, as Nepal had minimal military presence in those areas. Before that, Not only in Chhangru & Tinkar but Nepal's national census was carried out in Gunji Nabi and Kuti villages. People there participated in first general election of Nepal in 1959 and paid taxes to Nepal (Nepal has documents to prove all this). Later upon request from Nepal, these check posts except one at Kalapani were removed, as it allowed India to take control of Lipulekh.
Multiple requests were made later but never acted upon as India had too significant role in internal power politics and anyone govt. openly raising the issue would be toppled.
      5) There are letters from acting Governor General John Adams, after the Sugauly Treaty that state that Gunji, Nabi and Kuti are parts of Nepal.
So, Conclusion: How can it be solved.
It was too easy before, a bit complicated now. To be honest, Nepal had only wanted Indian army posts to be removed from Kalapani to Indian territory West of that, even if that meant Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura unofficially remained controlled by India . Keeping it in Kalapani when every Nepali now knows it is a Nepali land even under your definition of the borders, is seriously undermining Nepal's sovereignty. But the big brotherly arrogance (Duryodhan like when he didn't even want to give five villages to Pandavas) worsened the relations. It has pushed Nepal to claim up to Limpiyadhura now. If impartial investigation and only technical aspects are considered, it clearly falls under Nepal, as no signed agreement has ever happened after Sugauly Treaty. However, ground reality, social and political considerations make it complicated, as the people have been disconnected with the Nepali state for over 50 years. If you argue that controlling a land with military presence for over 50 years makes the land yours, why bother fighting with China for Aksai Chin, when it has assumed its control from literally the same time?
( Now don't jump over me because China comes in here, just fits in the analogy perfectly)
So, keeping the issue under the carpet and threatening with military prowess or economic sanctions wont solve it, only postpones the issue with more negative feeling towards India growing up in Nepal and vice-versa. Sit down for talks, quietly relocate the posts and continue other things as it is, win win (my understanding). After all, the 'border' is almost insignificant in an open border. India-Nepal can jointly benefit from trade via the Lipulekh Pass. Blaming China in every small matter in Nepal is only covering up your state's failures in handling the issue properly and undermining Nepalese people's sovereignty and sentiments. The Indian media has been quite successful in doing that by sensationalizing the issue. So, quiet negotiations it is!

    Step2
Search Gunji and follow one river ,which looks more main river
Note 1816 was only official treaty of border between Nepal and India.Doesnot matter how many new map were published after that, thats not official.1816 treaty states Limpiyadhura as source of kali river. Also bakwas mat karlo river changes courses ,not in origin but in plains.

As a nepali i used to adore this channel for its ability to show both side of the story , but today you guys only showed the indian government perspective rather than both side of the argument on this topic . you can search for the Sugauli treaty of Nepal of 1815 with the then British East Indian Compnay, Nepali western border starts from source of the mahakali river lipulekh and your highway clearly breaches the international border according to that treaty. The road was unable to be built in the Manmohan period because of the mutual understanding of the both government of Nepal and India that the land belongs to Nepal

    8 Facts that Indian friends are not hearing from their medias;
    1. Current international border between Nepal and India is defined by The Sugauli Treaty between the British East India Company and the Kingdom of Nepal in 1816 AD. Nepal lost 1/3 of its territory due to this unfair treaty.
    2. At the outset of the 1959 Tibetan uprising, fearing for his life, the Dalai Lama and his retinue fled Tibet with the help of the CIA’s Special Activities Division, crossing into India on 30 March 1959, reaching Tezpur in Assam on 18th April. During that time of PM Jawalal Nerhu at 1960s, India-China relation got worsen and it let PM Nerhu to request Late King Mahendra of Nepal to keep troops in the Kalapani region to protect India from Chinese intrusion.
    3. Since early 1960s, Indian army camps were in Kalapani region as per request to Nepal King Mahendra and India’s leadership did not withdraw army camps from the region after 1962 Indo-China war highlighting security issues. Gradually, Nepalese are blocked from going to those areas and slowly collecting tax and census by the Nepal government has stopped. It also completely stopped infrastructure development plans by Nepali side. There should be no issue on this matter today if India wants to solve it and leave its baseless claims of territory.
    4. In the 1970s, under the leadership of PM Indira Gandhi, she made a foreign policy to annex Sikkim and Nepal into India. Sikkim became part of India on 16 May 1975 as the 22nd state of the Indian Union, and the monarchy was abolished. In the same year (1975) during the early period of King Birendra of Nepal, a new map of Nepal was published without inclusion of the current disputed territories of Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura for the first time. All previous maps of Nepal had inclusion of currently claimed territories with similar pointed shapes.
    5. The issue was sidelined during the early regime of King Birendra and only after establishment of democracy in 1990, a member of parliament from Sudur-paschim province of Darchula district, late Prem Singh Dhami, raised his voice against the encroachment of Nepali land by India in the Nepal parliament.
    6. Since then, there have been several talks at different levels between the two countries but the border issues have not become important to India. After 2015, Nepal became the Federal Democratic Republic with a new Constitution and the following year took the path of ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali’ national vision for development with the foundation of elected stable Nepal Communist Party’s majority led government.
    7. Nepal’s relationship with China has grown with the increase in Chinese investment since 2015 and involvement in the Belt and Road Initiative. On the current border issue between Nepal and India, Indian Army Chief’s political statement dated 16th May 2020 of “Nepal acting behest of someone else”gave spin to the reality and it misleads general Indian citizens that China is doing this border issue in Nepal. In fact, Nepal wants to keep the international border clear between India & China, and wants to focus on rebuilding its economy which became laggards due to Indian hegemony policy.
    8. Nepal, India and China will make a tri-junction border point in the Limpiyadhura of Kalapani region which is not done until to this date. Nepal wants to solve this issue through bilateral talks with India and complete border demarcation with India and China where some areas are still pending for a very long time. Until now, India has been avoiding talks with Nepal on this matter and issued a statement to hold talks after Covid-19 pandemic ends. Nepal believes in friendly bilateral dialogues between two countries and resolved issues diplomatically.
How can this issue be solved?
According to an interview of an Indian-born academic based in Sweden Mr Ashok Swain, on this issue upon the question of “If India constantly denies holding talks to resolve the boundary issues, what other options Nepal will have to raise the issue? Nepali people have been asking the government to internationalize the issue. Do you think Nepal should think about other options too ?”
He replied, “I think India will soon agree to talk. If not, Nepal has no option but to internationalise the issue. In the past, Bangladesh had internationalised the Ganges water sharing issue, and that somewhat pushed India to sign the Ganges water-sharing treaty with Bangladesh in 1996.”
Let’s hope these issues will be solved in time despite unnecessary escalation by ill-researched Indian media and focus for multi-sector developments for equitable prosperity by both friendly nations. Having a clear border between Nepal & India meets security concerns for both countries and it stops all sorts of illegal trades and activities in the area. On the other hand, it also builds up healthy trust and relationship between both governments and peoples. Long live Nepal-India friendship.

hobgoblin1216 The Sikkim issue was another conspiracy, and i’m sure nepal isn’t asking for sikkim or greater nepal portion quoted in the history , it’s just asking for indian side to stop illegally occupying borders and brainwashing its citizens to stop war or war like environments in the near future. What other alternatives are there if they keep delaying negotiations, the talks have been held back for a decade and now they’re blaming Chinese interference, if we talk of Interference Indian interference can be seen not just in Nepal but also in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and pretty much every other neighbouring country, and they still don’t acknowledge even in the slightest bit there might be something wrong with the indian administrative procedures.

Nepal is claiming Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, Kalapani, Gunji, Tinkar, Tinkar Bhanjyang on the basis of a factual incidence of Treaty of Sugauli signed between Nepal and East India Company in 1816 A.D. Due to the Treaty, Nepal lost its one third of its total territory to East India Company. In the Treaty of Sugauli it has been clearly mentioned that the banks of MAHAKALI(KALI) river which originates from the LIMPIYADHURA marks the boundary (Border) or Line of Control (LOC) between the two countries Nepal and India. In the Treaty of Sugauli it has been clearly mentioned that all the territories on the EASTERN BAND (Not the western as said in the video) of the Mahakali River will be Nepal (that includes, Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, Kalapani, Gunji, Tinkar, Tinkar Bhanjyang & many other small places in between)

India: Thank you. we are establishing 18 military camps in Nepali land bordering China.
Nepal in 1969: Hey bro! the war is already finished but your camps are still around, could you withdraw your forces?
India: Okay! (removes 17 posts, but remains in Kalapani and controls Lipulekh area because it is strategically too significant to monitor China)
      Nepal: Kalapani?
India: (to then King) Don't forget you are economically too dependent on us, also we can seize you from power by using the revolutionary forces. You remain quiet, you aren't using that area anyway.
Nepal after democracy in 1990: Hey bro! now we are a democratic nation and we now have access to historical evidences and facts, could you withdraw the army and settle the issue as the land is on the east side of river Kali?
India (Prime ministers Indra Kumar Gujral and Atal Bihari Bajpayee): Okay! lets solve this and all other pending border issues with the help from border Experts. (Expert: Joint Border Committee) reach on agreement in 98% border area except Susta and Kalapani area, recommend it be settled on high political level, remains an outstanding issue)
India in 2015: Hey China, wanna trade from Lipulekh and make Mansarovar quickly accessible?
      China: Okay!
Nepal: But it's our sovereign territory and we have been claiming it all along with our evidences? (sends diplomatic protest to New Delhi and Beijing both). Hey! bro, (to India) let's solve the issue first among us before any agreement with the third party.
China Upon receiving the diplomatic note sent by Government of Nepal: Its ok!, If its Nepal's territory then we will rethink on the Trade agreement with India.
India: Ok then, No official visit for your PM Koirala (first time a Nepali PM does not make an official visit to India) and India imposes an inhumane economic blockade in the tough times of Devastating earthquake of 7 Richter scale in Nepal.
India in Novemeber 2019: Cashing the great opportunity when Nepal was totally devastated and ruined by the natural disaster, New Political map released (8th edition) with Kali river marked well inside it's territory when it should be a border.
India: We don't care! you are too dependent on us. (Inaugurates the road during Covid-19 pandemic, despite the construction not being completed and with presence of high level Military and Defense personnel)
Nepal: Kalapani and Lipulekh region are ours, then how could you built a road in the Nepali territories without even asking for a permission or informing us?? Stop it!
India: Come on Nepal! We are like Brothers, isn't it?? And if it helps us to earn huge amount of money through religious holy pilgrimage to Mansarovar Kaislash then why not build a black topped road there?? Although 35 Kms of the road still completely lies within your territory. But, why you shout deliberately let us rape your motherland in the name of trade route and religious Pilgrimage route. You know one thing, Nepal?? China is a Dragon it will capture your nation...Be aware! and forget our rape on your sovereignty. After all, we are like Brothers, No??
Nepal: Come on! Get matured now. At least dare to sit down and talk with us before doing things unilaterally!
Indian Army chief: China has made Nepal speak.
Indian Media: Nepal ki ye aukat ki wo India ko aankh dikhaye, Inhe fir blockade karna chahiye!
Indian Government (Rajnath Singh) to Nepal: We will sit for talk with you all only when the Pandemic of Covid19 gets over. Until then no talks regarding the border issue, got it??
*(In the mean time, India and China has a border conflict at Laddakh region)*
India then humbly & quietly sits for a diplomatic talk with China during the Pandemic of COVID19. (Clearly a Double Standard shown by India)
Nepal: Ok then we'll pass our issue our own map in the Parliament including the disputed territory ( it will address public outrage due to India's consistent "Big Brotherly attitude")
Indian Media followed by the Indian People: China, China, China, China!

A well documented video, kuddos to team behind it. However it lacks some vital information.
-> the land of lipulekh, limpiyadhura officially belong to nepalese kingdom after 1816 treaty and was shown as Nepal's part
-> for the first time in 1860's, both sides came into an agreement which was showing kalapani as Nepal's part
->In 1875, britishers tricked Nepal and was showing Kalapani as india's part without Nepal's consent since they realized it to be strategic location to counter china in future
->Nepal didn't object to the move since Nepal was ruled by Rana's that were proxy rulers of britishers
-> Nepalese troops were staying in that area till 1960's until Nehru officially requested king of Nepal to hand over nepal's 117 border points to counter china in 1962 war
->after humiliating defeat in 1962, Nepal requested india to withdraw its troops from Nepal since war was over and had no use in border points of nepal
-> India withdrew its troops from 115 border points except kalapani and susta points which has now resulted in indo-nepal border conflict.
-> even Nepal has proof of conducting various population census, voting proofs of nepalese in lipulekh and kalapani over Nepal's panchayat rule.
->even before map was issued, India didn't show any intention of meeting over the issue but rather ignored it.

  • @narendrathapa6767
    @narendrathapa6767 4 года назад +44

Let me get this straight, Bisbo.
    1. The reason behind the issue:
The primary reason of the border issue which was cool before was provoked by Modi when the indian government revoke "Article 370" in 2019 and came up with a new map, an intension to add Kashmir as an union territory. The Indian government expanded its land by adding the disputed land of Limpiyadhura-Kalapani-Lipulekh which was clearly not necessary because the Indian government knew that those land were already in conflict and this was the very reason Nepal never include those lands in its map. As a response to the Indian government, Nepal issued its new map containing Limpiyadhura-Kalapani-Lipulekh as their part, the core intention was to shows that nepal is not accepting the so-called "new map of india"
    2. Anti-India Songs:
We had songs about patriotism, the song which is mentioned in your video is a patriotic song to remind our citizens that, this is not a small issue that we are dealing and we need to fight for our lands. These are just songs, when it comes to India, Indian media have completely ripped off the image of our PM and our country without any actual facts. A "rowdy unprofessional journalism" which has created narrow-minded journalists like "Arnab Goswami", providing wrong information to citizens and I don't want to think about the mindset of the kids who grow up watching these media.
    3. Facts about the issues:
This issue would not have gained this much critics if the government of India had talked with the Nepali government before constructing the road. Maybe both sides would have come up with a solution that could help both countries but India showed a bully and unprofessional behaviour by adding the disputed lands on its map. If you say that "those disputed parts were already in India, so why do we require to ask permission to Nepal?". If it so, then why don't those disputed land were not in the last map of India. The Nepali government has its own facts and proofs with their respective departments and so does India. So both country representatives should have an official meeting toward this matter and solve this issue with facts and proper manners.
    4. Present situation:
The government of Nepal has already sent many official requests to the personals of Delhi to resolve this problem but the Indian government has not responded yet.

But yes, Nepal's intentions need to be studied properly before making such a move because its not that Nepal is an innocent child wanting what its his/hers and won't come for more. Although nationalist Nepalese might rule out any Chinese interference, it remains a truth that they are hatching plans there. Here are the main issues why the distance between India and Nepal is growing...
    1) In 2015 when Nepal introduced its first Constitution, India interfered which is disrespectful to any sovereign nation. After they became unsuccessful Indian government imposed an economic blockade on landlocked Nepal which resulted in hundreds of deaths of sick and old people due to lack of medicines. India has done it before but this time the World has already developed huge equipment to build roads and tunnels through the Himalayas. Not just Nepal any other landlocked country would seek alternative way to bring essential goods into the country. After seeing India's inhumane behavior, Nepal asked China to send essential materials.
    2) Border issues in the Terai region of Nepal where people from Bihar (India) have been illegally encroaching Nepali lands by pushing the pillars (border demarcation) further into Nepali side.
    3) Bihari people from India getting Nepali citizenship illegally to get voting rights to vote for in Nepali elections.
    4) Koshi River Barrage is being controlled by Indian government which lies in Nepali land, which was signed 50 years ago believing that India would allow water to flow freely during mansoon season without flooding lands in the Nepal side. In recent years, India deliberately shut the barrage gates to flood Nepali lands saying if opened, it would flood Indian side.
    5) Kalapani, Limpiadhura land which lies in the Nepal side (according to the 1816 treaty signed by the British and Nepal). India has already violated the treaty. So that means if the 1816 treaty is void then the size of Nepal would be three times of what it is now.
    6) Modi government has not taken back its 500 and 1000 Indian notes from Nepal which totals around 1000 crore rupees.

Basically, main body of the river can change its course but the point of origin of the river never changes and according to the article 5 of the Sugauli Treaty between Nepal and India in 1816 A.D. states clearly that Mahakali river originating from Limpiyadhura marks the border between Nepal and India. All the territories and regions on the eastern belt of the Mahakali river is the sovereign regions of Nepal and that Nepal won't claim its rights over the territories or regions on the western bank of the Mahakali river. This article clearly specifies not only Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipulekh but also the entire Mahakali regions belongs to Nepal. Yes, there have been several maps published by the East India Company on the contrary to the soul of the mutual agreement of Sugauli Treaty but those maps have been published by East India Company unilaterally. There is no any valid signature of Nepal. Hence, the only basis is Sugauli Treay where Nepal has signed a valid signature. And there hasn't been any amendments in the Treaty of Sugauli itself in the history. So, these regions are undoubtedly sovereign regions of Nepal.

This my understanding of the issue. Per Sugauli Treaty, the India-Nepal border in the west is the Kali River and the debate is WHERE THE RIVER STARTS. Nepal's contention is that Kali river is the rivulet that starts in Limpiyadhura. India says (as you pointed out @5:35) it starts at Kalapani where all the rivulets from the watershed merge to form Mahakali river. This dispute has been going on since at least 1950 when independent India and "democratic" Nepal signed India-Nepal Friendship Treaty. This issue flared up every now and then, esp. when Nepal's politics takes a nationalistic tone usually for inter or intra-party reasons. I guess this is one of those periods. But whatever the reason, India must appreciate the depth of anti-India sentiment given India's over and covert intervention in Nepal's domestic politics for 50+ years. It is best for both India and Nepal if India were to pursue Gujral Doctrine on its foreign policy i.e. peace and non-intervention in neighbor's internal politics.

i dont like this video being a NEPALI but i have to request my people from INDIA a few things:
Dear Indian friends/brothers/sisters... peace and love from nepal. it might sound awful but please get rid of your ridiculous and pro modi media which makes baseless remarks on any country's sovereignity and people. secondly, this thing can be solved with help of sugauli treaty which embarks boundry of Nepal & India. the name of river is MAHAkali , MAHA means big, right? so if we are able to solve river dispute, which your media never mentions or talks about; how can we resolve the issue? keeping all the hatred aside, please take care of the fact the we are one of the few countries to continue friendship for years, but we cannot tolerate the fact that we are being dominated unilaterally for years now and indian public are not responsible for for that. in reality it is the indian establishment which has been ignoring Nepal's request to sit for the talk. INDIAN people and NEPALI people will remain as BROTHERS for life, our friendship journey was not started on will and it wont end on will of STUPID & ARROGANT politicians, will it ?
after the day dispute has started , more than 50 NEPALESE have died in INDIAN ARMY! come on politicians and indian media, end your hatred; let love flourish between world's most emotionally connected people of NEPAL- INDIA. i hope this ends soon. if it doesn't i will blame politicians of both NEPAL and INDIA , not our dear brothers/sisters of INDIA. PEACE and never ending LOVE from inner core of all NEPALI people!

They won't be able to do that with China because the world is heavily reliant on China and also China has already taken Nepalese village by crooked means. India in 1962 (PM Jahawar Lal Neheru): Hey Nepal! (To the Monarchy) we are fighting a war with China and since your military presence in Kalapani and nearby bordering area is minimal, can we station around there for the period of war to monitor Chinese movement?
Nepal: Sure, we have the best of relations and if it helps in your defense, why not?
India: Thank you. we are establishing 18 military camps in Nepali land bordering China.
Nepal in 1969: Hey bro! the war is already finished but your camps are still around, could you withdraw your forces?
India: Okay!

The country's politics is that the pushpa kamal dhahal (prachanda) is the one who killed 17000 people in Nepal so he just want prime minster's post. Nepal's citizens have supported the government in this step in Kalapani, lipulekh and limpyadhura and the new map was also passed with full majority in Nepal's parliament. 2) Why is Nepali Government not questioning China over its hijacking of villages of Nepal.
    3) Why is Mr. Oli's Government saved by Chinese ambassador by meeting with his opposition leaders.
    4) Why Nepal's Respected PM giving Anti-India statement like Corona virus came from India is more dangerous than China .
5)Why the new citizenship act has been passed as government was knowing that Maveshis were culturally connected between both nation.
    5) Why he made useless statement over Lord Ram that ayodhya is fake in Indai. His intentions was just to bring the rift between nepalese and Indians by simply saying to his people that no need to go India for worship of God we have our separat Ayodhya.

In the early 19th century, the East India Company (EIC) that was ruling India began expanding its territories and reached northwards near Nepal. Soon after, on November 1, 1814, a war broke out with the Nepali side.
In 1815, the British general Sir David Ochterlony managed to evict the Nepali soldiers from Garhwal and Kumaon. A year later, the war came to an end with the Sugauli Treaty.
In October-November 1962, the Sino-Indian war broke out. The same year, then Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru wrote a personal letter to the then Nepali King Mahendra requesting the latter to let the retreating India Army stay temporarily in an open area in Kalapani.
India’s encroachment on Lipulekh, another area in the region, first came to light during the Panchayat period, but no effort was made for negotiations. There are no records in Nepal to suggest that these demarcations were done jointly between the British East India Company and Nepal.
King Mahendra is blamed for allowing Indian troops into Kalapani after the 1962 India-China war, at India’s request, even though there are no official records or statements substantiating the blame. According to foreign affairs expert Bhek Bahadur Thapa, King Mahendra never gave written permission but had planned to take up this issue with India when the war ended, but he never came to it.
India and China agreed even as far back as 1954 to allow Indian pilgrims to Kailash Mansarovar to use the Lipulekh pass.
The shifting of the international boundary based on changes in the course of a mountain river does not hold water, literally. Even if these changes in the course of the river were depicted in the maps published by the Survey of India during British rule, they cannot be used as a reference in deciding the international border.
But, in November 2019, India included the disputed area in its official map, the region east of Lipu Khola as a part of its territory. Later, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Indian road via the disputed tri-junction of Nepal, India and China. Some points that educated Nepalese understand...
    - Nepal and India r both Hindu majority sharing common culture & way of life.
-nepal & India r two countries but one nation.
-china is only using Nepal to hurt india. Nepal means nothing to china. China is d most deceitful nation.
-india acts as a deterrent for Chinese forces. Without india, Nepal will share d same fate as Tibet, Taiwan, HK, Xinjiang.
-Nepal is a landlocked country & depends on india for survival.
-India has always given preferential treatment to Nepal, be it in trade&commerce, financial assistance.
-India has time & again proven its frindship. Physical & monetary assistance during natural calamities, providing essentials & relief materials.
-India continues to provide technical expertise & funds for development projects, infrastructure, temples.
-India hosts millions of Nepalese providing them jobs, settlements, life of dignity.
-Millions of Nepalese hav also made india their home and r now Indian citizens enjoying all rights and privileges under d constitution.
-By way of remittances, Nepalese expats in india r d biggest contributor to Nepal's economy. Even Nepalese working outside India go abroad using Indian work visa.
-Nepal communist govt is destroying d very fabric of Nepalese society, & hence is unpopular even among Nepalese public.
-For communists, power comes from d barrel of d gun, & not from its citizens.
-India has not much to gain from its impoverished & tiny neighbours. But India continues to help & assist them.
-Indians hav for centuries been subjugated & persecuted. India knows d feeling of being at d receiving end.
-India has & always will stand by it's neighbours, through d bad times through d gud times.
-whether kalapani goes to India or Nepal, it will still remain within d family.

    • @truthspeaker5628
      @truthspeaker5628 3 года назад

@@trynaru Now you caught the exact point. India is not the East India Company that is why we are saying that India doesn't have any rights to talk over Sugauli Treaty,, its provisions or interpret them. India can only do two things either keep the Sugauli Treaty alive or declare it to be Void. If it declares the Treaty to be void then the lost territories (one-third) because of the Sugauli Treaty will be returned to Nepal as per the Treaty (Just like British returned HongKong to China).
OR India can keep the Treaty alive and move according to the provisions mentioned in the Treaty. And the Treaty says it Loudly and Clearly that those encroached territories belongs to Nepal.
India asked for permission from the Monarchy of Nepal to keep the Indian army for a temporary period and since there was political disturbances in Nepal throughout Nepal couldn't raise the voice about those regions. Even though soon after democracy was prevailed in Nepal in 1990, Government of Nepal did had a talk with Indian Prime Ministers Indra Kumar Gujral in 1997 and with Indian Prime Minister Atal Vihari Bajpayee in 2000 A.D. And with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Damodar Modi regarding those regions and each one of them agreed that those regions are disputed territories and they need to be addressed holding the Diplomatic talks. But in 2019 India moved unilaterally and forcefully to include the disputed territories in Indian map for the first time in the history. Monarchy of Nepal had only permitted to keep Indian army in Kalapani regions but not to include Nepalese territories in Indian map. Nepal helped thinking India as a good neighbor but India turned out to become a Dragron which engulfed Nepalese territories in a complete daylight. The most funny thing is that India is hesitating to sit for a diplomatic talk blaming the COVID19 pandemic but in the same pandemic situation India went to hold a meeting with China regarding Laddakh and most recently with Bangladesh as well but not with Nepal. India says itself big brother of Nepal but doesn't give any value and respect to Nepal and its sovereignty. Neither India has talked or showed its evidences that proves those territories belong to them. Nepal has more than 120 evidences other than the most vital Sugauli Treaty. Whereas India only says that it is under the control of India from last 70 years forgetting how Indian army came to settle in Kalapani and who permitted them to settle down there in a temporary basis.
This kind of behavior and attitude is going to take India nowhere. No matter Indian people hate or love Nepal and its people, Indian Government should take an appropriate step to solve this issue which was started by India itself. Moreover, it should respect sovereignty of Nepal at a practical level. India and Nepal holds such a bond that can't be seen entire the globe. It is an example to the global community but India should understand this and move in an affirmative manner. I hope you watched the video link that I had included in the previous comment because it contains the factual incidences.

    kalapani limpiyadhura and lipulekh matter:
    There was a village living 3 neighbors A, B, C
one day a family member of A became ill and A needed to go to take care of that family member
Being a good neighbor B says to A: don't worry I will take care of your house in your absence until you came back, you take care of your ill family member but in return, you have to allow me to use your house since I am taking care of it .
Since B used to be a good neighbor A trusted B and allow to B to use his house
Slowly time passes by year and year it takes a quite long time for A to treat his family member and to return back.
One day when the ill member gets recovered, A wanted to return back to his own home.
when A comes back he understands that B is claiming A's house as his sole property and B and C wanted to use it for the benefit of B and C
when A urges and defends suddenly, B claims to A: no this is mine now, you cannot claim this as yours, you don't have any right authority as well as the power to claim this house .
Who is the real owner now ?

I mean to say, couldn't this just be considered as an Indian army outpost there? And it's not that we are using that land for drilling or mining resources..it's just a road which even Nepali can use for going to Yatra. Would like to hear from the other side. I understand what you are saying, but the way we see it in India, Nepal is always a part of India( not a part in the way China claims-like something to be annexed eventually) . We see Nepal and Nepali people as part of Greater Indian history and culture. And the British occupation part, as far as I can remember Nepalese King was also defeated by British , they just didn't annex Nepal into British to keep a buffer zone with china. Other than that there's not much difference to the British between kingdom of Bengal or kindgom of Nepal. And that's self evident the way both of our older generations view each other. If you ask any grandma and grandpa in India what or where is nepal, they may not be able to tell you much in detail but they will say that always Nepal is in India or Nepalese are just like another ethnicity like Bengali, Marwari, Malayalam, Punjabi etc etc. That's the level of connection. I'm pretty sure I saw some video on RUclips where I say the same sentiments from old generation of Nepal.
I'm hoping this bad time will pass and Nepal and India will once again become peaceful coexisting neighbours. Because internal fighting will only lead to others exploiting and taking advantage of both of us.

India should respect to Sugauli Treaty 1816 between Nepal and British India. According to the Treaty, Nepal's western Border is Kalee River that flows from Limpiyadhura where Biggest tribut to Kalee River starts from and this tribut was called Kalee River in the MAP during the treaty signing time. India manipulated the river, Renamed the river, and rebuilt new Kalee River and new Kalee temple artificially in order to annex Nepalese Territory. India Should feel ashamed of it. Leave Nepalese territories and BACK OF INDIA. It is NOTHING to do with any other country but it is about Nepal's DIGNITY and SOVEREIGNTY. Nepal let India to use that territory during/after India- China War 1962 as a Friend. But India BETRAYED NEPAL ignoring to leave the Nepalese Territory since a long time. India ignored many time of Nepal's request. Nepal has border dispute with India, not only in Kalapani and Susta but 23 of 26 Nepalese districts that touches to India have border problem with India. SHAME ON YOU INDIA. There are two different of Nepalese who work in India. Nepalese origin Indian citizens who are from the territories when Nepal LOST to British India and Now these territories are in India. If you do not want these people, you must return all Nepalese territories that Nepal lost to British India but NOT to India because these territories have been occupied by India illegally because British India should have left these territories to Nepal but not to India. Another thing is, of course, Nepalese Citizens who work in India according to free movement between Nepal and India, there is also many INDIAN CITIZENS who works in Nepal too. India gets much more remittance money from Nepal than Nepal gets remittance money from India. It is NOT Nepal's interest to have free movement between India and Nepal because India has 1.3 Billion and Nepal has 29 millions. who will benefits most when there is free movement ??? Another thing is Nepal was NOT part of British India if you do not have any free movement between India and Bangladesh and Pakistan because you guys were parts of British India. THEN, WHY SHOULD THERE BE FREE MOVEMENT BETWEEN NEPAL AND INDIA ACCORDING TO NEPAL AND INDIA FRIENDSHIP TREATY 1950??? WE CALL IT VERY UNBALANCED TREATY THAT SHOULD BE NULLIFIED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. SAME TREATY NULLIFIED THE SUGAULI TREATY 1816, WHY HAS INDIA BEEN KEEPING NEPALESE TERRITORIES THAT LOST TO BRITISH INDIA ??? If India does not respect to the Treaty 1816, India MUST leave all territories which Nepal LOST to British India.
