Because to port x86 games to arm, they basically have to remake the whole game. No point in doing that, starwars KOTOR tried already and they barely sold anything on mobile.
@@cfilorvyls457 No it's not remaking the whole game. They could even emulate it like other systems use emulators for various platforms. That's how many backwards compatible games work.

Has anyone had an issue where the splash screen for new Vegas doesn’t load? I was able to install it but when I click the icon to open the program, the splash screen pops up for a second and immediately goes away. Any help would be appreciated
For me the problem with gaming phones is the game library. Why would I buy a new gaming phone if my old flagship can play almost every the android games (Genshin, Honkai etc.) just fine. But if phone manufactures (Samsung, ASUS, Xiaomi, etc) would have invested there time into making something like winlator or a Proton-isk type of software to play windows game on you android phones THAT the gaming phones can use, that would make the product much more appealing. If a group if of developers that aren't even working on it full time can make it why can a multi billion dollar company can't?. Like FFS even a apple is trying to port game like Assassin’s Creed and Resident Evil because they know that if you are going to sell a gaming phone well what game can you play on it? (I know not everybody is interested game like this but ATLEAST you can play more on iphones then on android). Hopefully this can get better in the future and we can actually play on phones.
I actually got an error when I put both on Performance when trying to install a game, but when I went back to Compatibility I was able to install Fallout: New Vegas just fine and play it. I put it back to performance after installation and it's been working, so far, even though the game is glitchy and has booted me back to Winlator a few times.
i wasted so much time nobody wanna explain or show how to ACTUALLY download the games and install them like which website which download which link what to install what to rename yall aren't explaining anything. literally nothing is working for me theres nowhere i can find that shows the actual detailed process of moving copying naming files for the games what to click what to do with .NET error what to open what to move all the files are so so confusing and the ppl in the tutorials always be explaining it like its so easy and quick. like everyone knows how to download, move name copy files like hello??I'm so new to all of this
From what I've found there are issues getting Steam to run on Winlator. TBH even something as basic as a browser doesn't run for me. (Using a Red Magic 8 Pro)
@TehStevz So! SInce posting this I've learned that DRM protected services often require constant online confirmations to run said services - Meaning essentially, though you technically paid for say, Fallout 3 on steam you do not in fact own it under its protected licensed services provided by in this case Steam who run their owj DRM services which makes offline functionality on a unregistered service such as winlator non-existent -unless you can run an emulated modded steam itself (which under its own terms does not allow unregistered platforms or modifications.) The hope is one day winlator emulation improves to the extent that Steam recognizes it as a functional windows platform and that there is a way to bypass the constant need to check in to their services
I think this would run better if you set LowSpecGamer's Fallout 3 game ini settings, possibly go full 60fps on combat albeit with horrible looking graphics. But heey if you just want a on the go Fallout PC game without lag and stutters it would suffice I guess.
Hello, Winlator, if it works with PC games via GOG and Steam, I assume it works with those from the Epic Games Launcher ? And if I install it on my AYN Odin Pro, it should work in terms of installing Winlator on it ? Thank you, for your answers, have a nice day.
He goes through it in the video. The easiest way is to have a standalone installer, which you can't get with steam or epic games. If it's not on gog, your best bet is to acquire it through other means...

Wow that's awesome give it a few years and we can play gta 4 and 5 on mobile hopefully
Already can, gta 5 works for this method too and gta 4
Can you make a tutorial on how to download and install DRM free games from several storefronts like Steam, Epic, Amazon games etc. onto Winlator?
Has anyone had an issue where the splash screen for new Vegas doesn’t load? I was able to install it but when I click the icon to open the program, the splash screen pops up for a second and immediately goes away. Any help would be appreciated
Same for fallout 3 it just opens the launcher for a second then closes it. It doesn’t open the game
Same for fallout 3
Change graphics driver to virgl
Hopefully this can get better in the future and we can actually play on phones.
me lookiing at my samsung A73
A73: why you looking at me like that
Im going to try this on my OnePlus 12 to see how it runs :D
Finally u showcase it
Amazing thanks for you content.
What a wild time to be alive
I actually got an error when I put both on Performance when trying to install a game, but when I went back to Compatibility I was able to install Fallout: New Vegas just fine and play it. I put it back to performance after installation and it's been working, so far, even though the game is glitchy and has booted me back to Winlator a few times.
i wasted so much time nobody wanna explain or show how to ACTUALLY download the games and install them like which website which download which link what to install what to rename yall aren't explaining anything. literally nothing is working for me theres nowhere i can find that shows the actual detailed process of moving copying naming files for the games what to click what to do with .NET error what to open what to move all the files are so so confusing and the ppl in the tutorials always be explaining it like its so easy and quick. like everyone knows how to download, move name copy files like hello??I'm so new to all of this
This is a cool option for people who don't have a Steam Deck. I'm perfectly happy with my Deck right now though.
I Love this can you do a follow up but the Steam version? The reason I ask is I already own a ton of games there and would love to use it
From what I've found there are issues getting Steam to run on Winlator.
If you have any Steam games that are DRM-free, that works. Just drop the folder in place.
Steam actually has a list of drm free games but most games I own unfortunately are not
I think this would run better if you set LowSpecGamer's Fallout 3 game ini settings, possibly go full 60fps on combat albeit with horrible looking graphics. But heey if you just want a on the go Fallout PC game without lag and stutters it would suffice I guess.
Witcher 3 PC Version is also running on Android. Same for DOOM 2016
Running! Not playable tho , it drops in to teens on 8 gen 2, specifically witcher 3
@@Noob._gamer the next gen version yes, but not the classic version. Runs with 30+ fps on my Odin 2 Pro
Please ask the devs to add support to add an external drive or sdcard in winlator. This option doesn't work and most games are really big.
Im gonna try running fallout 3 on my old galaxy s8 soon
You should do a steam tutorial, most PC users will have the steam version
Very cool that this is possible but ill just bring my steam deck around
Hello,
Winlator, if it works with PC games via GOG and Steam, I assume it works with those from the Epic Games Launcher ?
And if I install it on my AYN Odin Pro, it should work in terms of installing Winlator on it ?
Thank you, for your answers, have a nice day.
He goes through it in the video. The easiest way is to have a standalone installer, which you can't get with steam or epic games. If it's not on gog, your best bet is to acquire it through other means...
old .. play game android, smartphone n other console in PC and now smartphone can play game PC.. that crazy amazing... that why snapdragon X series can emu PC Windows OS dan play new game... seriosly may 5 year intel n amd (x86) maybe die n arm change powerfull SoC but low wattage.. amazing
Windows emulated on Android. Now we're in the future
I tried but new Vegas crashes straight away after opening the launcher, don't get a chance to select anything
I still find it weird that Morrowind, Oblivion, F3 and NV is not the Switch.
Well, I guess this is close enough...
