I have never heard of soaking the pitted cherries in cold water to get the worms to come out. How long do they need to soak to get the worms out? What is the best way to rinse them afterwards?
What kind of cherries do you have? I never get maggots. I cant reach most all the cherries:( The birds dont die from worms Im sure its safer to eat them then to eat pesticides

I just leave them in the water for around 5 min and then rinse them under running water and that seems to be good!
