This is one of favorites by George Jones and Joe Diffie sure did a top job singing it. This was on the George Jones TV show. Very sad to think ALL of the people in this video are singing with the angels now. George Jone, Jerry Reed, Lari White and now Joe Diffie. :(:(
@countrygirl countrymusiclover he was a born again christian he had a preacher by his bedside he got forgiven he ask for forgiveness the lord delivered u can do the same
@countrygirl countrymusiclover if you think you don't have anything to be forgiven for... you're insulting God... who are you to say someone like George Jones are in hell? watch your words
So sad that we're losing all the great country singers, country music will never be the same. God bless them and may they forever rest in peace. They are all missed but never to be forgotten.
@@silvergrizzly316 How right you are !! I know he would have kept topping the charts. He absolutely had a God giving gift. He also did good in the trucking movie with Patrick swayze. Hoping the best for him and his family. 👍
@@truckerray9634 yes, every song Randy put out, I believe went to number one, I really miss hearing his voice on the radio. Patrick Swayze was another great one gone to soon, and that movie was Black Dog, I try to watch it everytime it's on TV, lol. Take care and God Bless my friend. Jay.
Joe Diffie was my absolute favorite country male vocalist. He has so many great songs.... there's really not a dud among them. Three that really stuck out for me was There Goes the Neighborhood, That Ain't the Grandpa that I Know and Almost Home. Already missing you Joe!!!
Check out the night at the opry with travis Tritt , Waylon,& Steve Warner. Joe was Singing Harmonies to everyone's songs! It was an awsome gathering of some really great country music by some great country singers, songwriters & vocalists! Thanks to the internet, none of them will ever be but a click away. I know it's not the same to friends and loved ones, but it can also ease some of the pain of losing them when they want to see or hear them. I wish I could click and see my folks again on the internet, but they passed long before the internet. It's a small positive. It will never be the same, but it sure is sweet to hear them sing. Then it gets me singing all of those great songs from Waylon, who I used to bounce up and down on my parents bed when I was a kid and listen to Ramblin Man! And JoeD.,The Songs just make me smile and sing along,Every time I hear them. Great Music is Eternal and Both of these Men along with all of the wonderful treasures they wrote & sang will be there. It sure is better than before technology in that respect. When Your Love Lives on, Then The Ones We Love Are Alive & Well in Our Heart! Jesus Is Lord! We Will See Them Again
Joe Diffie was one of the few that could sing any song in any key and make it his own. All of the legends in this video live on in their music that we so love
Yes we miss you Joe, We still care, you soared with the Angel's and went "home" and it's colder in here with you gone. My backyard is empty and you'll always be bigger than the Beatles.
Love love love! We miss you, Joe! I was fortunate to see you at the Brown County Fair in South Dakota sometime in the early nineties. You were just starting out. You had more talent in your little finger than a lot of these so-called artists have today.
Wish country was still country .. I don’t even bother listening to this new crap.. Glad we have a large library of great artists to listen to so I doesn’t get old.
When he first came to Nashville, he got a day job working at Gibson Guitar, my father and brother also worked there, my brother said at break and lunch Joe would grab a guitar and sing, and needless to say he always drew a crowd. Joe Diffie, Keith Whitley and Merle Haggard are the best and had unique voices that will never be duplicated.
@countrygirl countrymusiclover Jones never sanged while he was alive? You make zero sense there and Jones isn't an Icon?? Get off my post with that shit bitch, greatest voice in country!
I remember my mom saying joe diffie was the first person she ever saw in concert. And it was before he got big when he had just released “john Deere green” and the concert was in a cow pasture.
