    Dom still bitter about that loss. He hasn’t been able to let it go, and it’s all in his body language and demeanor. He’s a talented fighter, but I’d venture to say a lot of his struggles in his fights Post-Jones, are rooted in that. I bet if he can get over that, we see a resurgence from him. He’s an example of how important the mental side of the fight game is.

The fact that he didn't just suck it up, life is full of unfair moments everyone has to deal with, and go on to prove he is the better man (losing 4 in a row after that, hasn't done much for him), says a lot about him.

      Yeah Jon jones made him suffer on purpose if you see the fight again he never looks for the finish job just wanted to punish him for what he was saying. Smith was talking heavy, as soon as Jon saw Anthony was no threat he just pushed forward he usually picks people apart,

    Reyes started each round with a flurry and then after a minute he was back peddling missing most of the shots he threw and was taken down in rounds 3, 4, and 5.

      Jones won that fight 4 rounds to 1. People are so delusional. Not only did 2 judges give Jones round 2, but they also gave Jones round 3. All 3 judges gave Jones rounds 4 and 5.
      Everyone just hated Jones so much by that fight, they would believe anything and all stroke each other off about it.
      Dom lost that fight bad.

    Anthony Smith has won me over as a fan. He comes off so genuine and honest. I understand what Dom was saying but you cannot tell someone else what motivates them. Jon may felt he was not motivated to fight him no one is in his mind. I remember when Nunes loss to Peña she was recovering from covid and had major life changes. She may not have been motivated or just loss no one will know but her. However when she returned she found something that helped her reclaim her belt. It’s harder to stay at top than getting to top

    I feel for Reyes. I think in his mind, he reached the pinnacle of the sport, defeated the goat, but then got robbed of it and I truly believe that that psychologically fucked Dom. Feeling robbed of such a huge accomplishment, may have made him subconsciously care less about fighting the other guys he’s recently lost to.

      Considering how his career turned out, I don’t blame him for tearing up. He could’ve been champ defending the belt getting insane money and ppv points, but because of a bad decision he is now on a bad losing streak of all knockouts on the verge of being cut. It’s a depressing outcome to think about.

      @@jimmyzoom1143 Numbers do not lie. Jones won at bare min 3 rounds out of 5 on points. Did he damage Reyes? No, but Reyes didn't damage him either. All those flurries he threw missed for the most part. Yes Reyes won 1-2 rounds (1 for absolute sure), but People hate on Jones because of his personal life and you all have the right to do so. But as a fighter and athlete, he's one of the best to ever do it and most certainly won that fight on points. The right decision was made.
