Nice video! Feels like there's a ton of crossings out there in California with lots of lights because y'all tend to have a ton of signals at just about every crossing inside a city, lol.
The bells have a nice tone in the first clip. In my opinion, I think it would sound cooler if one of the bells rang at that slow ( half time sound ) rate and another at a faster rate. Also, whenever I see the cars run through the crossing when the light are flashing and the gates are going down, I’m like seriously, do these drivers have no patience?!
The bells speed in the first clip was a little weird to me. I am from Sweden 🇸🇪 but i have watched many videos of American railroad crossings. The trains in Sweden don’t honk at guarded railroad crossings. Swedish trains only honk at unguarded railroad crossings (Those who only have crossbucks). The railway line that goes through the Urban area i live in is called Stångådalsbanan. I recently saw a german driver do one of the dumbest and most dangerous things i’ve seen in a while. He slowed down at first at the red flashing lights and then starts driving against red and it ended with the grille on the barrier scraped the roof of the car. It even made me say "F****** idiot" out loud after i saw that. People just do it to save time and don’t even think about the outcomes it could’ve had if they collide with the train. Sometimes, the outcomes can be fatal. Careful at the railways!
Trams: MUST. HAVE. BUFF. CROSSING.
Trains: Flip it we're just gonna put a crossbuck.
Main & Central is my favorite. All incandescent lights and all mechanical bells!! Rare in 2021!
Incandescent lights are still quite common, on alot of subs, such as the BNSF Seattle Sub
Awesome compilation
Amazing
Lovely material
Love the sound of the bells!
I'm wondering if the crossing in the first clip are those train sets made by that company in Colorado that went out of business?

Wow that is a bunch of lights on those railroad crossings I actually saw one with a bunch of lights in my home state somewhere
5:30 Oh sweet, a Union Pacific freight train passing by alongside the light rail trains.
Awesome vid man!
When you needed a shit ton of lights in order to protect all lanes
11:00 that’s an interesting place to put some crossing signals XD
Amtrak 184 is going to be on coast-starlight tomorrow morning
