In his talk Dr. Pardi will cover fundamental questions about what health, wellness, well-being, disease, and illness mean, and discuss novel mind frames on how to increase one’s level of health in today’s world.
Dr. Pardi will also explore how to measure all things health, taking into consideration objective measurements of health status, a discussion on normality vs optimal, and non-traditional health measurements, including qualitative assessments of health potential based on available health resources and health literacy.
At the heart of his talk will be a discussion on how individuals, given the state of the world today, can best navigate their health regardless of where they currently sit on the health continuum.

Thanks. Agree with point made near end of presentation about using multiple measures. Just turned 69 and have lived a healthy life for last 10+ years after being diagnosed with CVD at age 58. My blood work is very good. And when I plug blood parameters into the Levine PhenoAge I consistently get ages in low 50s. I do NOT think that overall my body if 52 years old. On the other hand PhenoAge is one marker and I've learned a few things by using it. I also track ApoB, hormones, and a few other blood markers, body fat, amount of exercise, weight, sleep, BP, and avoid junk food. Idea is to optimize all of them. Every one should learn to check their BP and glucose at home, and how to order their own blood tests as once a year is way off especially if you're trying to make changes.
