      I have SOOO much to comment here.
      #1. Haze went through so much trouble and publisher interference while in development. Ubisoft kept putting their nose in, forcing the devs to change their vision and direction for the game, adding features they didn't want and forcing it to be a PS3 exclusive when it was originally going to be on all 360/PS3/PC.
      In the end, it was nothing like the game Radical wanted to originally develop, and the whole "Halo Killer" was Ubisoft's tagline, not Radicals.
      #2. Azurik, like the Zelda games, is not an rpg but an Action Adventure title.. nothing else to say.
      #3. Phil Hartman was the heart and soul of Blasto and easily the only reason to play it. Their were plans to fix the original release with a re-release and make a sequel one day, but sadly after Phil's death, the team behind the game couldn't go on. Phil was what made the game...
      #4.I unironically love Resident Operation Racoon City, especially the TRUE campaign that was sold as DLC, Echo Six.
      I've played through most oft he games on the list, I feel Ride to Hell almost falls under so bad it's good. MindJack, I remember buying originally from a truck stop gas station. Beyond that, I don't know what to say about the game...played through ti once.
      As for Alien Colonial Marines, played it on max difficulty at release on Xbox 360, co-opped all the way through. Ever since then I've found it.. kind of boring and mediocre.

      Also, while probably not a bad game, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is being considered a flop by Square-Enix.
      I personally feel because they changed to much when people just wanted an updated remake.
      Then there is the fact this is the 2nd game in a trilogy... which was originally a single game.

      First really bad game I bought and played was Sierra's Outpost. It was hailed as Civilization in Space, but better, a realistic space colony simulator, with factions and all kinds of stuff. They worked together with NASA and whatnot.

    The tragedy of Aliens Colonial Marines is that the alien AI was broken because of ONE LINE OF CODE THAT HAD A TYPO!
    Some guy found the typo, fixed it, and the Alien AI actually starts doing stuff like running on walls and ceilings, trying to flank you, etc. Instead of just rushing you headlong mindlessly.
    Its still a meh game, but the AI fix makes it at least a little more fun.

      Rare back in the 90's after completing goldeneye pitched the next game that became perfect dark, half the company left and became free radical, we know what happened to rare but briefly PD was a hit but the rest of their Nintendo games weren't, diddy kong racing was redundant and not good, why have DKR if you have Mario Kart? but during game cube era rare get's bought by MS more for the catalogue of games than for the talent which let's face it their talent left!
      at the same time MS buys Rare Free Radical spent the end of the 90's making timesplitters for a then talked about PS2, TS became a mediocre hit but a big enough hit to get a sequel cus while the story was too simple the MP and map editor kept people playing, TS2 and futurperfect were bigger hits rivaling halo but not surpassing it though they deserved to you could make your own maps! choose what weapons spawned and change other parameters of the game but Halo was just too big to notice the competition
      Second Sight kinda got overlooked as a game that only sold what half what TS did? SW Battlefront 3 was seen as a easy slam dunk but I'm sure there's way more woes attached to the dev cycle but after the fallout of Haze Crytek bought em and every attempt to either remaster the TS series or make a 4'th game were denied for dumb reasons, there's no central character to those games cus it's a war across time starring many heroes in different times but Cortez was enough of a face by TS3 to recognize what game he came from so long as HD gfx didn't totally change how he looked but crytek just used free radical as support for crysis games and here's the shocker under crytek they got named crytek Nottingham then when the devs left without their name they opened Dambuster studio who then made or finished Dead Island 2 to a mediocre success and like TS1 it seems like big enough a hit for a new studio to build on so yeah lineage from old school Rare made dead island 2 most people didn't catch that part of DI2's story....

      @koolaid33 2 месяца назад +3

      @@NickBLeaveIt That's true, but sometimes a poor launch is so bad the game is irredeemable. For example, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of those games that really isn't shipping copies much, simply because it was stained so hard with the jankyness and bugs, and the fact that it's now been four years and it's still a buggy mess, especially the DLC. Another example would be FNAF: Security Breach, this game released in an awful state and it turned many fans of the franchise away in a heartbeat, as it was clearly unfinished, and then once again it got DLC that like 2077 was somehow more buggy than the standard game. An example of a game that had a bad launch and actually redeemed itself would be No Mans Sky, I don't know how they did it but that game went from being hated to being loved.
