Thanks for posting this. It was a 19.2 volt lithium battery, too. Supposedly TTI was manufacturing stuff for Sears Craftsman back in the day. I wonder if they had to wait to re-release this due to a possible patent or if they had to buy the rights from Stanley?
@@WildDisaster they didn’t have to buy the rights since they used a generic mounting style like icon hart, ace and a few others Tti did manufactur c3 from craftsman But Apex was the manufacturer of the max axess and they have the rights for that and still do Apex also makes sata pass through, gear wrench, crescent, duralast and a few other use the same style that are all compatible with the craftsman max axess
@@bennysshop5908 I have a set of Armstrong (owned by Apex) pass thru that could work directly with the Max Axess, then! Thanks for sharing the information. Really appreciate it. Nice to see that what is old is new again.
Just bought mine, came with a free 2.5 high output battery. I ordered the SAE socket set and the 1/2 anvil.. the value for this is incredible! Cuts down on expensive tools, it’s 3 ratchets in one with pass through and low pro.
I'm glad they decided to put that style on a power ratchet makes shit so much easier my uncle has one of those that is just a standard ratchet and its so nice
More things to add to the list of "I told my dad this should be a design/product when I was 10, and he told me that's dumb why would people buy that, and now they make them"
Glad I've waited on getting an M12 Extended ratchet - would much rather have this low profile version - LOVE that it comes with the adaptors for regular sockets too!
I have the old Sears Craftsman pass-thru cordless ratchet like that, but it's not long neck. This would get in even more tight areas with that long neck on it. 👍👍
There's a pneumatic version of this that's been out for years. KRC cyclone ratchet. It is a beast and extremely well made. Been using it for a while with no issues.
You always out here making me buy stuff 😂 No but foreal, the stuff I have sprung for, I was suuuper happy with. Some Koken stuff mostly, including their 3/8 ratchet in a 1/4 body.
Decades ago I bought Matco’s pass thru socket sets 3/8” & 1/2” Drive. I gotta say I hardly ever used them and they were low profile but I just never had the need to use them except on a slight occasion. I don’t think I’d even bother buying that ratchet set. And yes I’m a professional tech that’s been doing this for over 30 years. Just my opinion and thought. Very cool tool tho being it’s cordless mine wasn’t lol No cordless tool speak of back then.
The switch needs to protrude a little more like a pear head ratchet you will have something similar to matco I believe and will be much easier switch as well
@@MrSubaru1387 you think it would be a better purchase than having a standard ratchet? I’m a diy- farm mechanic not a Professional. The only power tool I use turning wrenches is an air impact and I no longer have a good compressor so it’s all breaker bars and hand tools currently. Looking to break in to some Milwaukee stuff
Looks sweet but I imagine this to be like the pass through socket sets. I have a set I never use cuz a ratchet wrench will work in those places. A long set of double box flex ratcheting wrenches are awesome
I have only seen this type of design in a regular hand ratchet and the socket head was super shallow. This is gunna make all the other brands come out with this type of ratchet or at least a socket set for this type I hope they hold the patent for the ratchet head and the sockets and made them every broad. If they didn’t then technically other companies can just make the head a square hole and their sockets will have a square or any other shape they want instead of the one used here to get around a super specific patent
Any word on if they'll make extensions for this as well? This is brilliant no doubt about that, but being able to buy extensions as well would make this even more versatile. Wouldn't need extra deep sockets for use on euro cars.
@karlhicks8144 i don't know if I understand now. So the new ratchet is a pass through, and it also comes with a anvil adapters so u can use a extension or any existing sockets u may have. I don't know if there's such a thing as a pass through extension what ur talking about
@@FATDADDYSACK Gearwrench and I think one other company sold MANUAL ratchets that were pass through, same idea as this but ONLY manual. But they had sockets that were also pass through. However those sets of pass through sockets, extensions and ratchets are hard to find anywhere other than online. So that's where my question comes in. I'd love to have a pass through extension to go along with this ratchet and sockets because then you add one more piece to this and the potential uses increases even further than before.
I have a air ratchet from make that does this with the drive adapter so you can flip it to both sides of the head and change the drive from 1/4” to 3/8”
Is the pass thru design standardized? The 3/8, 1/2, 1/4 end of a standard socket I mean. As in I wouldn't be stuck with replacing the 10 mm socket I will lose with the Milwaukee only socket for that kind of tool?
Its been done b4 but no1 really seems to know about. Craftsman 19.2v at sears had this pass through auto ratchet. Had 1 awhile ago cuz basically got it for nothing and a co worker of mine had the batteries. We did end up breaking it tho trying run a lag in with it lol

It’s so tempting to buy more tools. Technology is getting so good now. I know this was made years ago but this is perfect.
Craftsman did this with ratchets years ago glad it made its way back around. These things are time savers
Best thing I have bought so far 100%worth every penny
Been waiting for another manufacturer to make this again, craftsman had one years ago. Had one and it broke was never able to find replacement.

Awesome 🤩
The Makita ratchet actually got pass-through but only for one size nut, 13mm iirc.
What size is the hex end opening?
Yeah you can actually grind the socket till is the same size as the head of the bolt so its even tinier
I wish they'd offer a short neck version

Paddle cool like air tool

Well, there goes my idea😂
damn, leaning towards m12 for a 12v line to compliment my 20v dewalt collection.
It comes with the special sockets right? being how you can't use it without them
Ya good one. I wish they had that.
Finally I can retire the old craftsman passthru !
Those sockets could have been way more low profile on the face height. Make some super shallow sockets for it and I'll buy

W😍W. Love Milwaukee Tools I have tools, that are similar to that. 😮. My dad to get that as soon as it comes out.❤
that thing is dope finally some actual movement in tools 😂
Will be a life saver on threaded rod for nuts.
Milwaukee might as well have access to my bank acc at this point 😅😂
The biggest problem with the Snapon and Matco are the batteries, that foot shape makes them an absolute pita in tight spaces!
NOW THATS COOL

They should have found a way to move the switch from the head to the handle. Just incase you lossen a bolt and get stuck.
