The Ninebot One Z 10 First Impressions - Should you get this wheel?

- Hello all welcome to Season 3 Episode 2. Today I was able to try out the all new Ninebot One Z 10. Huge shout-out to @houseofjobs and @E-wheels (www.ewheels.com/) for letting me try this wheel.
Watch me push this wheel to it's limits here in NYC. This video is a bit long but in my opinion very worth as I go over every part from the weight sensors to the 4"tire. Enjoy!

I got the chance to ride the Z10. I have to say Tishawn you are a Master Rider for sure. I couldn't even get it going fast or turn while going fast. HUGE learning curve for me. Almost felt it was going to through me off. Pretty intense man

Yeah they showed them riding up and going down extremely high curbs. Also they were riding on mountain bike trails. It’s built for off roading.
That's the only wheel I regret selling! It dances so well.

A really well done review. Nice to hear a straightforward opinion about GotWay build quality and careful riding their new wheels. Z10 looks stylish, a unique EUC in new generation of 18"s.
ps Z10 has tubeless tyre with cord, so it's unexpectedly hard.

Very interesting review of the Z10 I'm not a Ninebot guy, more Inmotion (I have 3 Inmotion) but I have to say that THIS wheel rocks. Thx and go on with ur nice reportages.
8:44 yeah I can relate to “it’s ninebot” build quality man, I have a Ninebot ES2 scooter x). Ninebot products do great things, but I had an occasion where they made a huge design flaw that ruined the vehicle (shorted three fase engine wires due to poor connectors). Like driving a Porsche with Lada electronics.

I love your videos for the fact that they show that one can ride euc with a style, unfortunately it isn't that much of it! Maybe you could make an episode where you focus on riding, present good riders - not necessarily about tricks. Anyway, keep it up. Quality of your vids go up so quick!

I tried it too. I like this wheel, but coming from a Rockwheel GT16, which is much much more manageable, it would have been unfair to compare both as I rode 4000km already with the GT16 and just few minutes on the Z10. What I like though is that it's giving another vision of the wheel, it's a different product than any other product on the market, and the design / look is sick ! What I loved the most about your review is the quality of the review itself. Your videos are awesome, super quality, great work !! (by the way what is the camera you're using to film ?). I completely understand your reasoning on the "lift sensor" and being worried if it would possibly activate while you are cruising down the road at 12 mph and it kicks in, (OUCH). You said you would disable that sensor because you don't like to rely on sensors. That being said, these one wheel electric scooters are basically guided in every fashion by sensors. If the sensor that detects you leaning forward or backwards malfunctions, you will have pretty much the same scenario, (OUCH).
Not trying in any way to be disrespectful, but I thought this would be something worth thinking about.

Can you put a higher capacity battery on a Segway’s ninebot one to get more distance
1. Amazing camera quality .. colour grading is slightly off... but it might be an intentional colour grade (hues of aqua are higher than normal)
2. Great showcase of the Ninebot ONE Z10. The best EUC imho.... that said I wish its top speed was just a little higher and the Battery a touch bigger

Tishawn, from your point of view, does the ninebot z10 give you enough stability and power to do good filming, for my filming i need stability and enought power, you know Swiss Cities streets are more narrow and tricky to navigate. many tnx once again for your great review and video. peace.

Can I ride on the dirt road Z10? the Z10 is rain resistant?
I'm coming from the OneWheel XR+. I love it for it's trail riding capabilities, I love carving the soft sand & gravel patches but I naturally have a wide stance which makes it hard to use the fangs to jump & keep balance which means I don't hop steps or curbs. & the range is killing me, 12-18 miles isn't enough. So I'm looking at the Ninebot One Z 10 & the InMotion V10F. Which would any of y'all recommend & why? I know I won't be getting the same carvability as the one wheel as it's different riding mechanics, but how does it fare of road? How thick are the tires because I live in a goat head heavy area. If you're not familiar with goat heads, they're plants the produce caltrops that kill bike tires regularly.
Is it OK to learn on one of these high performance wheels or should you get something smaller to start?
Hey Tishawn, what caused the wheel wobble at 14:12? I never seen that happen to you before and you weren't even going fast. Do you think it was the air pressure, or width of the wheel?
Even though this is heavier, is it easier to learn on than the KS18s?

I bought one of the last batch ones on eBay a month ago. 12 10 2020 build date. The lift sensor is fine. Trust the sensor. The tire is tubeless.

The more it weighs, the wider the wheel needs to be, for the same surface pressure. Also, I am sure the wide wheel allows them to hide more power and coils inside, without the need for protrusions. The bonus of less angle-diversion-wear, as with motorcycles VS bicycles, is also a contributing factor. The more "round" the wheel, matching the radius, the less shifting you get as you tilt the wheel. The thinner wheels do some crazy things when driving on non-flat sidewalks and roads. You essentially have to drive at a slight angle, because you are constantly turning and wearing the outer-walls excessively. With the large tire, it should feel the same on a slight sideways tilt, as it does when level. It also makes it a little harder to turn, but more safe, as it is not as over-sensitive to tilting. (Should keep the pedals off the ground a bit more too, on those harder turns. Since you are not just pivoting on a small point, but rolling the wide surface up under the pedal with the turn.)

Great video, i gotta say that im new to this i got my first wheel around mid June InmotionV8 /Glide 3...... went through learning pains , meaning deep bruises on my legs..... but this Ninebot One Z 10 wheel looks like it can eat potholes, i flew of my Glide 3 when i hit a pothole i didnt see and was not ready but this wheel seems like it would have no problem going over many..... deff attracted to the thickness of that wheel, but does it maneuver better than the Glide 3 or does it have a much larger radius?
How can i get my hands on one? Im already thinking of upgrading only because im not getting anywhere close 30 mile range at all, rather if im lucky 8-10 miles.... I commute to work in Brooklyn, about 2.25 miles and my batter is already showing the red and yellow bar when i get to work.... I cant even make it home on one charge which would be around 5 miles roughly round trip. Any suggestion ? Tips?...... to get more range i have it at 80% power and i weigh around 205 plus a book bag on me with the charger being the heaviest thing in it.
