When she lifts up the sheet to her shoulder notice she holds it there for about 3 seconds...that's enough time (with practice) for him to jump into position. he holds it there for a few seconds longer so she can drop down.
Well, I remember Penn and Teller explaining one of their magical illusions on camera and they mentioned that "any ordinary thin-like objects on stage and designed to appear thin (through shape) but in reality are large enough to comfortably fit a human being" So in saying that, she was inside the 'secret door' below the invisible box. Take a GOOD look at the box. Pause it and look how the shape is large in the middle and narrow on the outside. Gives an appearance of a thin sheet of wood.
i think she is inside all the time. and the box is much deeper than you would expect, bacause of how it is design (stair-like) actually, theres another guy from AGT (cosentino) that did the same trick, and it uses the same designed box.on the second trick i agree with you. But the thing about magic is the element of surprise when you watch it live. so it doesnt take away the credit from the magician. sorry for my english.

The side of the box folds out and ther is a small trap door on top if you look in slow motion you would see it and at the end the box is not a straight box anymore one side is folded out
The first trick: The girl was already in the boxes bottom The second trick: When he was in the box, he pressed a small button and the top felt off. Its about timing good catching and now showing the front side at the first drop of the silver curtain, because the girl was locking the top of the box back up. Cheers! The second one I figured out I think. She stands with her feet spread, not standing on the middle of the lid. There's 2 metal bands going across. I think there's a trap door there, you can even see it sagging a bit when the act is beginning. But how did they do the 1st feat?!
@AweScoCk6969 There is no back opening. The middle of the top hatch is a trapdoor, a door within a the bigger, "locked" door. It's obvious because when she stands on top, her feet stand wide apart, enough for that mini-door to open and for him to jump up, and the rest is simple.
i think the top of the box was collapsable, both stood not on the center but on the outer frame. as she lifted the curtain up to her head he climbed up so when she raised it completely over her head he caught it giving her time to fall into the box
even if that was the case.. the coverage was up for half a second at most.. not enough time to get one person out, on top of box and the second person down from the top and into the box
He is fully covered at 2:39 and the complete switch was done by 2:44. That 5 seconds, not a half a second, and it's more than enough time to complete the trick. Plus, it's the only logical way it could have been done. She was standing to the top of the box, so the switch wasn't done from there. And you only saw 3 sides of the cover, so if it would've been done from the front or either side, you would have seen his movement in the curtain. Once she pulled the curtain up covering the box, he has started to exit from the rear. When she raised it up to her shoulders, he was already standing on the box with her. Once she tosses the curtain up, she jumps down into the hole, and they make the reveal.

If you watch 1:45 to 1:50 carefully, you can actually see the bottom of the box being lifted right before the sheet is raised over the thing.
