It sucks being up to date having watched every "published so far" what if video from MasakoX, Salad sayian and even Smugstick, and you realise you're out of content and have to turn to the dark side to quench your abstinence by watching the "bot voice" what ifs out there. The ones who always end with Goku becoming the almighty ruler of the multiverse or being betrade and also a universe were Goku says weird stuff like "motherf*cker" and "Mr 'wiss' ". And Whis then replies with either "Mr Goku" or if he is angry "But what are you saying stupid sayian" I know it got a bit long a specific there but it's trueeee!!
I hope Gohan gets lots of teachers. So he can learn to use that potential to its fullest Gohan's biggest weakness is letting his power go to his head, his father is the same way too because their biggest weaknesses being drunk on power and letting their guard down. So I really hope Goku and Gohan can learn from each other being trained by the turtle School. And other teachers for gohan.
Honestly, with Gohan, it is very much how he was shaped by his experience. His first experience with fighting was for survival rather than self-improvement. So he doesn't have the same constant motivation like Goku has. He's good at it and tries to be diligent, but it's likely he views it as something like a chore rather than a passion. And given everything he's been through as a very young child, it's hard to blame him. It is hard to keep up training when the whole thing subconsciously feels like an ordeal to deal with yet another overpowered jerk. If his first experience in fighting was on self-improvement or at least if it became more rooted than that rather than the exposure to intense stess, then it would make him more willing to train more on his own. He needs the self-motivation more since he lacks the Saiyan combat drive.

@@Bigzthegreat Nah. Piccolo did help out a fair bit and Gohan was a very good influence on Piccolo. It's more the whole Raditz affair that formed Gohan's view with martial arts to a degree and it never really stopped, what with Vegeta, and the the Androids and so on...

Another what if I hope to eventually see is kinda similar to this. What if Gohan became the main character after the cell games like he was supposed to? I feel like the root of it could be that after the cell games are over and Goku is dead, Gohan realizes he has to protect the earth for his father and trains to do so. You could also plant the roots much earlier in the saiyan saga or the frieza saga, where after Gohan sees all of his friends getting hurt and killed, he makes it his goal to protect them, and when his father, earths protected dies in the cell saga, he takes on the role of earths protector. I think it’d be pretty good.
Gohan was never supposed to become the main character. Cell was the be all end all villain, securing Gokus legacy through Gohan. "Gohan was supposed to be the main character" is a fan theory that went overboard.

5:33 Just fixing your mistake, Krillin does not get carried by Piccolo. Krillin proved he could fly back in Dragon Ball's chapter 172, when he fought Piccolo at the tournament and revealed he could fly when he was about to be taken out of bounds by a surprise attack from Junior.
Great start of a story, the way it was going (and the title) i thought piccolo was going to accidently kill gohan along with raditz sending him on goku's old path to king kai. in my fanfic crazy mind that would lead to goku enraging and becoming super saiyan early and trying to kill piccolo in revenge. That would then lead to krillin helping defend piccolo to save the dragonballs so gohan can come back and perhaps even being killed by goku to join gohan in his training that way he isn't alone. This would also make namek be needed since the saiyans would be easy with an early super saiyan or a goku level trained gohan with kaoi ken thus leading to frieza and keeping the early Z story mostly intact.

I feel like with the current change of events, Raditz would know that he’s outmatched and would probably try to bargain with them, knowing that Vegeta and Napa would eventually show up and that they would far outmatch the Z fighters. Then Raditz would betray Goku so that you don’t have to have another story of Raditz becoming good, and he doesn’t die in a stupid way. Great vid Salad😁

i feel gohan will become the super saiyan so just hear me out frieza is staring everyone down goku is trying his best to fight him but eventually gives out frieza picks him up and says "what a shame the monkey doesn't wanna play anymore"gohan shouts at him telling him to put goku down frieza laughs and says he will soon enough he drops goku and shoots his stomach (like he did with vegeta) frieza then starts to choke goku making him suffer gohan can't take this anymore he snaps and transforms he walks forward and says ''today you die" ,anyway love your videos bye
Very good first part, really enjoyed it. One very small issue though, Krillin learned how to fly before the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament (Doesn't matter for this what if, I just thought you should know because I also assumed he learned how to fly when he trained with kami, but after rereading Dragon Ball, he tells Goku he learned before the 23rd tournament)
That’s true but I think krillin and the rest of them besides piccolo couldn’t fly for travel purposes just yet until after their training for a year. I think they could just do it in for a fight where you wouldn’t really need to travel far in flight
@Jalen Cunningham you think krillin would not learn how to fly better in the 5 year time skip? Especially with Goku being around in this what if near the end of that time period? If anything, Krillin is more inclined to learn it since he stays with Master Roshi, and going back and forth to the island through flying is easier than having to rely on a capsule plane/submarine
@@jj4life015 I mean you gotta think about it. Goku chooses to use Nimbus to get to raditz, why would he choose that when he can fly? If you say to save energy, you’d be right, Goku should at least be as fast as nimbus since piccolo keeps up with it easily and Goku is above him. Piccolo has a ability to fly so it doesn’t drain his energy like it does for the others. He’s doing that to save energy for the fight. And krillin is definitely below them both so him flying when Goku wouldn’t, seems kinda iffy.
@Jalen Cunningham Strength has nothing to do with it, Goku never bothered to master flight because he relies on the flying nimbus. Krillin does not have the nimbus, and flying would be easier than using a vehicle whenever he wants to leave Kame House. I'm sure by this point, Tien has mastered flight, and Krillin would be the same since Martial Artists are always trying to better themselves.
@@jj4life015 I used strong as a blanket term but Goku should have the most endurance out of everyone there at that point in the series. Goku not trying to master something would be out of charachter tbh and considering he was taught flight by Kami someone who should know both versions of it, he would’ve already had it mastered but be limited by his currently level of endurance/stamina. Think about this too, Goku tries to fly down snake road in the manga at first but then later on you see him running. He was capped by him endurance levels and when he raised up his endurance/stamina stats after training, he’s able to fly the whole way back. This should apply to everyone in the series at that point. If Goku was struggling and he had such a wide margin on them even prior to dying. Then you can’t really expect them to fly

Great story, I look forward to seeing the next part. I expect that they'll get their arse kicked without Kaioken, leaving just the cowardly Yamcha and old Master Roshi to go to Namek. Who knows, maybe those two will be able to train their way into relevancy with a two way gravity training trip and a visit to Elder Guru.
In my head, since goku won’t learn the kaioken from king Kai , vegeta should outpower everyone and gohan still wouldn’t learn how to use the great ape properly. So the outcome should be close to the original if not even worse for the z fighters

The future gohan full story he made should have a part 2. I said something about gohan and bulma hooking up and repopulating the future timeline lol... With bulma, who wouldn't.
I'm guessing we may still see the others go to Namek to get the Dragonballs. Let's see, I could see Goku, Tien, Chiatozu & Yamcha ending up over at King Kai's planet with Krillin going over to help Gohan and Bulma, not unlike the original series. Of course, the things on Namek will probably go easier if Frieza doesn't learn of the Dragonballs. This buys them enough time to start bringing people back, including Goku. The others may learn Kaio-Ken from King Kai to keep up with the others.
I have a slightly weird what if idea: A decent clickbait-y title might be "what if Goku never got the flying nimbus" or even something like "what if kid Goku became immortal", but what I'm thinking of is more like "what if master Roshi took better care of his stuff". See, Roshi used to own four magical items(that I know of), but he ended up losing: - The power pole, which was given to grandpa Gohan - The basho-sen(not sure what the localized name is), which he threw away after spilling soup on it - The immortal phoenix, which died of food poisoning - The flying nimbus, which he gave to Goku The reason why this would lead to Goku not getting the nimbus is beacause Roshi first wanted to ask the immortal phoenix to make Goku immortal, and only upon remembering that the phoenix was dead did he give Goku the nimbus. I'd still give Goku the power pole for couple of reasons: - Passing it down to his student isn't exactly the sort of irresponsible behavior that I was thinking about when this what-if came to mind - Without the power pole Bulma genuinely might just be eaten by the pterodactyl from chapter 1 - With neither the power pole nor the nimbus, the Ox KIng would have no reason to spare the group when he meets them, assuming Bulma somehow survived the pterodactyl
What are the chances of you doing a revised version of the Goten trained like Goku scenario? Like on the grand scale of things, it was an April Fools video so Goten basically one shot everyone. So why not make a revised version of it with this format, where Goten is still the same but has more motivation.
Nice, we have the strongest Piccolo series going on now. Now it's Gohan turn. (At least by staying close to his canon self anyway.) 🙂 Oh wow, Gohan, really is doing Goku's training from the very beginning, but I wonder this will included training with King Kai, Spirit Control Training on Yardrat, and finally Whis training later on? 🤔 Still hoping for Gohan and Piccolo's connection like canon. 👍 My favorite part was the unintentional teamwork of Gohan hitting Raditz into Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. The ones who always end with Goku becoming the almighty ruler of the multiverse or being betrade and also a universe were Goku says weird stuff like "motherf*cker" and "Mr 'wiss' ". And Whis then replies with either "Mr Goku" or if he is angry "But what are you saying stupid sayian"

I hope Gohan gets lots of teachers. So he can learn to use that potential to its fullest Gohan's biggest weakness is letting his power go to his head, his father is the same way too because their biggest weaknesses being drunk on power and letting their guard down. So I really hope Goku and Gohan can learn from each other being trained by the turtle School. And other teachers for gohan.

Honestly, with Gohan, it is very much how he was shaped by his experience. His first experience with fighting was for survival rather than self-improvement. So he doesn't have the same constant motivation like Goku has. He's good at it and tries to be diligent, but it's likely he views it as something like a chore rather than a passion. And given everything he's been through as a very young child, it's hard to blame him. It is hard to keep up training when the whole thing subconsciously feels like an ordeal to deal with yet another overpowered jerk.
If his first experience in fighting was on self-improvement or at least if it became more rooted than that rather than the exposure to intense stess, then it would make him more willing to train more on his own. He needs the self-motivation more since he lacks the Saiyan combat drive.

@@Bigzthegreat Nah. Piccolo did help out a fair bit and Gohan was a very good influence on Piccolo. It's more the whole Raditz affair that formed Gohan's view with martial arts to a degree and it never really stopped, what with Vegeta, and the the Androids and so on...

I'm wondering how much more powerful Gohan is going to get with Elder Guru unlocking his potential.
Another what if I hope to eventually see is kinda similar to this. What if Gohan became the main character after the cell games like he was supposed to? I feel like the root of it could be that after the cell games are over and Goku is dead, Gohan realizes he has to protect the earth for his father and trains to do so. You could also plant the roots much earlier in the saiyan saga or the frieza saga, where after Gohan sees all of his friends getting hurt and killed, he makes it his goal to protect them, and when his father, earths protected dies in the cell saga, he takes on the role of earths protector. I think it’d be pretty good.
Gohan was never supposed to become the main character. Cell was the be all end all villain, securing Gokus legacy through Gohan. "Gohan was supposed to be the main character" is a fan theory that went overboard.
Krillin already knew how to fly. He was able to save himself from a ring out in the 23rd world tournament against Piccolo.

Just fixing your mistake, Krillin does not get carried by Piccolo. Krillin proved he could fly back in Dragon Ball's chapter 172, when he fought Piccolo at the tournament and revealed he could fly when he was about to be taken out of bounds by a surprise attack from Junior.
Great start of a story, the way it was going (and the title) i thought piccolo was going to accidently kill gohan along with raditz sending him on goku's old path to king kai.
in my fanfic crazy mind that would lead to goku enraging and becoming super saiyan early and trying to kill piccolo in revenge. That would then lead to krillin helping defend piccolo to save the dragonballs so gohan can come back and perhaps even being killed by goku to join gohan in his training that way he isn't alone. This would also make namek be needed since the saiyans would be easy with an early super saiyan or a goku level trained gohan with kaoi ken thus leading to frieza and keeping the early Z story mostly intact.

I feel like with the current change of events, Raditz would know that he’s outmatched and would probably try to bargain with them, knowing that Vegeta and Napa would eventually show up and that they would far outmatch the Z fighters. Then Raditz would betray Goku so that you don’t have to have another story of Raditz becoming good, and he doesn’t die in a stupid way.

Turtle Orb - The user throws a small blue energy sphere and redirects it to where they point.
Principles of Ultra Instinct - Thanks to his many years of martial arts experience Master Roshi became capable of utilizing a similar but not quite as advanced automatic dodging technique by the time of the Tournament of Power - causing Beerus to believe he was actually using Ultra Instinct itself.[13]
3D Scan Mode - A mode that allows for advanced scanning of enemies. Roshi uses this in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound when he finds some ladies sitting at a table.
Special Beam Cannon - The move is performed by touching the index and middle fingers of one hand to the forehead and charging enough ki to attack. Its speed changes to the power level of the user performing the move. When ready, the fingers are extended forward, and two thin energy beams are unleashed from the fingers. One remains straight while the other coils around the straight beam. The resulting beam is quite powerful, drilling through most targets, and exploding on the ones it can't. Very good first part, really enjoyed it. One very small issue though, Krillin learned how to fly before the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament (Doesn't matter for this what if, I just thought you should know because I also assumed he learned how to fly when he trained with kami, but after rereading Dragon Ball, he tells Goku he learned before the 23rd tournament)
That’s true but I think krillin and the rest of them besides piccolo couldn’t fly for travel purposes just yet until after their training for a year. I think they could just do it in for a fight where you wouldn’t really need to travel far in flight
@Jalen Cunningham you think krillin would not learn how to fly better in the 5 year time skip? Especially with Goku being around in this what if near the end of that time period? If anything, Krillin is more inclined to learn it since he stays with Master Roshi, and going back and forth to the island through flying is easier than having to rely on a capsule plane/submarine

If you say to save energy, you’d be right, Goku should at least be as fast as nimbus since piccolo keeps up with it easily and Goku is above him. Piccolo has a ability to fly so it doesn’t drain his energy like it does for the others. He’s doing that to save energy for the fight. And krillin is definitely below them both so him flying when Goku wouldn’t, seems kinda iffy.
@Jalen Cunningham Strength has nothing to do with it, Goku never bothered to master flight because he relies on the flying nimbus. Krillin does not have the nimbus, and flying would be easier than using a vehicle whenever he wants to leave Kame House. I'm sure by this point, Tien has mastered flight, and Krillin would be the same since Martial Artists are always trying to better themselves.
@@jj4life015 I used strong as a blanket term but Goku should have the most endurance out of everyone there at that point in the series.
Goku not trying to master something would be out of charachter tbh and considering he was taught flight by Kami someone who should know both versions of it, he would’ve already had it mastered but be limited by his currently level of endurance/stamina.
Think about this too, Goku tries to fly down snake road in the manga at first but then later on you see him running. He was capped by him endurance levels and when he raised up his endurance/stamina stats after training, he’s able to fly the whole way back.
This should apply to everyone in the series at that point. If Goku was struggling and he had such a wide margin on them even prior to dying. Then you can’t really expect them to fly

In my head, since goku won’t learn the kaioken from king Kai , vegeta should outpower everyone and gohan still wouldn’t learn how to use the great ape properly. So the outcome should be close to the original if not even worse for the z fighters

I'm guessing we may still see the others go to Namek to get the Dragonballs. Let's see, I could see Goku, Tien, Chiatozu & Yamcha ending up over at King Kai's planet with Krillin going over to help Gohan and Bulma, not unlike the original series. Of course, the things on Namek will probably go easier if Frieza doesn't learn of the Dragonballs. This buys them enough time to start bringing people back, including Goku. The others may learn Kaio-Ken from King Kai to keep up with the others.
I have a slightly weird what if idea: A decent clickbait-y title might be "what if Goku never got the flying nimbus" or even something like "what if kid Goku became immortal", but what I'm thinking of is more like "what if master Roshi took better care of his stuff".
See, Roshi used to own four magical items(that I know of), but he ended up losing:
- The power pole, which was given to grandpa Gohan
- The basho-sen(not sure what the localized name is), which he threw away after spilling soup on it
- The immortal phoenix, which died of food poisoning
- The flying nimbus, which he gave to Goku
The reason why this would lead to Goku not getting the nimbus is beacause Roshi first wanted to ask the immortal phoenix to make Goku immortal, and only upon remembering that the phoenix was dead did he give Goku the nimbus.
I'd still give Goku the power pole for couple of reasons:
- Passing it down to his student isn't exactly the sort of irresponsible behavior that I was thinking about when this what-if came to mind
- Without the power pole Bulma genuinely might just be eaten by the pterodactyl from chapter 1
- With neither the power pole nor the nimbus, the Ox KIng would have no reason to spare the group when he meets them, assuming Bulma somehow survived the pterodactyl

(At least by staying close to his canon self anyway.) 🙂 Oh wow, Gohan, really is doing Goku's training from the very beginning, but I wonder this will included training with King Kai, Spirit Control Training on Yardrat, and finally Whis training later on? 🤔 Still hoping for Gohan and Piccolo's connection like canon. 👍 My favorite part was the unintentional teamwork of Gohan hitting Raditz into Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon. Anyways another really good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Blinding Wolf Fang Fist - First, Yamcha charges at the opponent and kicks them away. After forming the Spirit Ball, the user controls and guides it by pointing the index and middle fingers in the desired direction. When initially guided, the attack utilizes kinetic energy to deal damage, striking the enemy multiple times from range. On its last strike, the Spirit Ball is triggered to explode on impact, further damaging the enemy.
Super Spirit Ball - Yamcha puts his right hand out with the palm facing the sky, then with his left hand, he grabs and holds his right wrist. Concentrating a massive amount of ki in his outstretched hand, Yamcha can create a huge, yellow hovering ball as large as his entire body which he controls with his index and middle finger, launching it at them hitting them several times before exploding. Yamcha can even manipulate this into firing a beam.
Ki Blast Thrust - The user focuses their ki into their fist and charges toward the opponent with an ki-enhanced punch which can cancel out weak Ki Blasts as they charge toward the opponent.
