Hi mate, nice video. Would you mind giving us a feel of your experience with this. I’m debating buying one and am especially interested in the nerve health as I have neuropathy. Maybe if you could do a follow up of the good points and irritations that would be nice to see. Keep it up!!
How far is it from professional medical measurements ? Any fault interval ? Would this compete with it. I’m using previous generation Body Cardio what still does great job but thinking to upgrade as there seems to be much more of it 🤔
I think it works great, but I can't compare it to professional medical equipment as I don't have that to show side by side results. We upgraded because this provided more stats and my wife wanted to track those with her daily workouts.
No subscription fee is required. They do have a Health add-on that gives you workouts and other motivation features, but I don't subscribe to that. Everything I talked about in the video is included when you guy the device.
It seems the scale doesn't have the conventional "feet" on the bottom of the unit where traditional scales have load cell sensors on. Instead, it probably has the sensors inward so that the unit doesn't have to be on completely flat surface.
My wife and I both have the app on our phones and you can create separate users. You don't need to pay to use any of the features that I showed in the video, but they do have a pay option for coaching and more insites. I don't subscribe to those features as I didn't see value in them, so not sure if you pay per users or per scale.
Hey, very nice presentation, I have a question before I buy this scale: what does the subscription gives you more? is it needed to see some extra metrics that are not available if you're not subscribed or it's just for guidance and exercises and other stuff
It is just guidance and exercises. I didn't see value in personally for us, but I could see some other people liking those features. Everything I showed in the video was included without the subscription.
I am assuming you don't have socks on and hard standing and holding the metal parts? The Vascular age requires multipul approvals via the app before starting, but I don't think that was needed on the body comp. Ours is still working fine and my wife uses it everyday to track her workouts.
My old one is still going strong after 3 years with now battery issues, so I am not to worried on this. But you are correct, you can't change the battery.
These scales are terrible! Extremely high failure rate, lots of bugs. Withings used to make good products and be a good companies, but definitely no the case now. Avoid!!

I am still very happy with it and I don't have any negative aspects. I would buy it again.

isn't supposed to sit on a flat surface? You have on the carpet.. doesn't that affect the sensors since it's not level?
It seems to give me the same stats on the rug vs the bathroom tile floor.

Hey nice job! If my wife and I both wanted to use the Withing scale, would we both have to set up a new account (and pay them both)?

Can you review the beamO from withings when it comes out.
It looks pretty cool. Only if I could get Withings to see this comment and send it to me :-p

Thanks. Think i might treat myself to these!!
Thanks for watching and it is a very hightech scale.
The internal battery isn’t replaceable. So after 3 years you can trow you 400 euro device away.
