First, what is your actual chest and shoulder measurements? You never said. Second, what are the measurements of the actual Schott jackets? I would recommend you get a cloth tap measure. Lay both jackets down flat and buttoned. Measure from pit to pit, then flip the jacket over and measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. For comparison, you’ll want to also measure a jacket that fits you well. Also, don’t forget to measure the full circumstance of your chest at its widest part. I have a lot of experience with Schott leathers. Their standard fit leathers tend to run large, not small! Usually one size large compared to higher end European and Japanese brands, which typically run “true to size. True to size typically means, that if a jacket measures 20 inches from pit to pit, then it is a size 40! Most American manufacturers got away from standard sizing years ago, as Americans got more obese over the decades. They shifted to what is know as “vanity sizing”, so “S,M,L,XL” labels don’t have any point of reference anymore. In your case, because you’re in Europe, I suspect Schott has commissioned a “European sizing” pattern and in fact the jackets are most likely “true to size” - but, because you never actually measured the jackets we’ll never know. Also, Keep in mind, when measuring any jacket, especially leather jackets, you must take into account the thickness of the material including the lining. This could be up to 2 inches. For instance, a jacket could measure 44 inches on the outside, but really be a size 42 when wearing it!
I agree. You need to know your measurements to order correctly. I have several Schott leather jackets and all fit well, as I ask for the size chart from them first. They are really quick to respond.
Just watched this video, I have multiple Schott jackets and I either wear a XXL or a Size 46. However, the 618 Biker Jacket and the 613 are both Slim fit designated by the ¨6¨in the model number. The 118 is the same jacket as the 618, but Regular Fit and slightly longer. Ím 6´1¨, tall and weight 220 lbs or 99.79 kg. I also have the other style Schott jackets are ALL are true to size at least from a US size perspective and I believe it also applies to the UK. When wearing (as an example) Belstaff, which is EURO sizing I have to size way up to a XXXL or a XXXXL. A size 46 in EURO sizing is actually a 36, so I have to order a 56 EURO size to equal a US 46. I agree with a user’s comment is to figure out your actual measurements and apply it to the Schott recommended size conversion chart. I did enjoy your video.

I am 108 cm chest size and i remember once i ordered a schott leather jacket in 2 XL and it fitted like a M. I advise people to go 3 sizes up.

I had an issue with my b3 jacket from Eastman I first got my size 46 but I had to go size 48 because of the extra sheep fur
